Gay people hurt, AGAIN.

What's the point of people wanting to hurt, bully, or outing gay people in this life? That's a question of the day.

First, there's a story on the CNN.com about a Michigan's Attorney General's office that "approves" of an employee of attacking a gay student at a college campus:

and now they're trying to distance themselves from the employee's bullying efforts to stop an openly gay college student from leading a college's student government on a State of Michigan University campus in Ann Arbor.

You know, The Michigan Attorney General's office should have done one thing. Not only to just condemn it, but fire the employee. Just like the NJ Transit authority that fired an employee earlier this month of September for attempting to burn the Muslim book of the Koran in their off-hours. Double standard of free speech? Yes. Both are going to end up in court.

In this one.. a 13 year old kid, just coming out of being gay to his family, got bullied in school in a very bad way. Some one wanted to control his life and made him so fearful, that he shot himself to death. Did the school do anything about it? That's going to be a question for the courts to decide as well. I am sadden for this young man to die so young and so angry that I want this bully to experience what it's like to die too. But hopefully, he will get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and the school be made to pay for it.

My heart broke this morning when I read about this kid, a new college student, in his first year of school.

Two young people decided to play a dreadful idea of outing a gay friend of theirs to the world. They did it in a cruel way that nobody had any idea of what was going on. When this young man discovered the camera and what he found on the Internet, both posted by his roommate, his whole life was already shattered. He ended his life by jumping from a bridge. Rutgers University is still reeling from the events that happened on their campus. The 2 individuals are in seclusion and protection until their court appearances comes up.

What can be done to stop people from hurting Gay people? The truth is to stand up and be clear. We will not tolerate this act of crimes upon the gay community. We must document these crimes and show the court that bullies are unrepentant and represent not only a danger to themselves, but a danger to the society as a whole and must be locked away until they repent of their crimes.

Let's hope that some day, these act of crimes by anti-gay people stop and respect happens for all types of people, no matter what sexual orientation they are. We deserve to be treated as equal citizens and human beings.

Drunk Driver tries to play deaf, Police not fooled.

A drunk driver was pulled over by the police. He knows he's in trouble. So he tries to fake disability, A DEAF disability! The guy has admitted that he's been let go so many times by using "the Deaf card". Well, the poor guy pressed his luck too far and came up against a Police officer THAT KNOWS SIGN LANGUAGE! He knew his freedom was over.

I wish and pray for more police officers to learn ASL more often. They can bust more drunk drivers better. Playing a deaf card? shame on them.

Start of Fall 2010

G'day Everyone..

The past few days has been spent going through my emotions that have been through a wash, spin, *heartbreak*, wash, spin, *heartbreak* cycle.

What started all of this was the big thunderstorm that ripped through the Central Penn State areas (including my home area of Williamsport,PA) on last Wednesday September 22nd, 2010 just after 5pm.


I had just come home of a nice out to dinner with a straight friend of mine. I never realize that my world was about to be ripped apart the moment a tree branch had just been hit by lighting and fallen down on the power line near my house. Nobody was hurt, but the power went out for 12 hours.

During that time, I relied on my cell phone text and texted some of my friends. Some friends I got. Nearly all of them didn't get back to me till HOURS later!! But by that time as I sat in the darkness of the night, it felt like to me that nuclear war had struck our nation and most of my friends are dead. It was the worst feeling in life that anyone could have in a black out or in a natural disaster as well. *hint* when your friend needs you to be there for him/her.. you had better be damn there or else: Dropped from the course of life.


I did pray a lot during the blackout. I went through a lot of emotional feelings. I didn't sleep well at night too. It was 4am when my mom woke me to see the power company that finally came by and fixed the power line. They sawed the tree branch off and repaired things. 90 minutes later, as my mom went back to bed, I took care of the house in which various electric appliances needed to be either turned off or adjusted.

But the Internet and cable TV didn't come back on for 12 hours more. So it was still kind of isolation with power. After a few hours of waiting, I had to tie up the phone and call the AOL itself. Getting on-line was slow tech stuff. (compared to broadband). But finally, cable and the 'Internet came back on full power. Nice to have all the creature comforts.

The day after the storm, yard had to be cleaned up a bit and then I went away to visit my boyfriend. The weekend was kind of complicated as he was moody.

As I had come home from my trip, I found out that a person from the Rochester,NY area, (I did not know him), had died in the storm from a heavy falling tree that hit the pick-up truck he was riding in. He and his friend had no time to react. They just instantly died the moment the tree landed. I feel sorry for them. If only they had stopped somewhere safe in that heavy downpour, they would be alive today. Nobody should be driving through a heavy rainstorm at that point.

It is as if the first day of all was a warning of just how brutal Winter 2010 is going to be like this coming season. Who knows? It was the worst first day of all ever to experience.
Though I am late with this post, I am focused on other things in life. Mainly job hunting.

Asking for PROOF!

G'day Everyone.

Sure there are suckers born every minute out there by people who think they can take advantage of other people. Like recently on Facebook, there has been a hacker that has been stealing accounts and friends on facebook. Importantly, facebook may have to face an inquest from the FBI and State Police Cyber crime investigators some day.

But recently, a person wrote a comment about the photo of a friend of mine that I knew a long time ago.
That person also said he knows me as well. So I shot back an email at that person. I asked two things: One SHOW ME PROOF that the friend in the photo is really dead. I wanted to know for real. Second: I asked for specifics of HOW he knows me from college long ago.

You know, people CAN BE cruel out there in the social media world. But to be cruel and say a friend of mine of long ago died and then I find out that HE IS NOT DEAD? NO! That is MORALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

Nobody should be that cruel! To say a friend died and then I find out that's not true. If it happens, to be that way, I would most likely de-friend that person and block all connections. It's unforgivable.

If you know some one's friend died, be prepared to show proof. Just don't take it as a rumor. Because, to share info about some one's death can be have an emotional impact upon everyone that knows that person.

This year, I've known people gone to prison. This year, I've known people died as well.

Just be aware that there are CRUEL PEOPLE in the social media world. Because if someone says something about some one's situation, demand proof about it. If that person won't say it or provide it, ask your friends. They will know who to find out and contact for proof. It takes teamwork to defeat one or more cruel people. The teamwork is your true friends that will band to help you.

Bitter laugh / NTID's 3 finalists.

If these "experts" from the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) claims the recession ended in June 2009, they had better up their office security. I am sure a lot of people would love to storm NBER offices and tell them that recession hasn't ended....YET! Since December 2007, the recession that started near the end of President Bush's term in office, it is on-going and President Obama has been trying his best to deal with it. so far, Obama does not have any success at all. With the mid-term political elections in nearly one and a half months from now, there are no promises that Obama will get our economics running.

So my message is to those "experts" in the NBER office to do themselves a favor: Quit your job and then see if you can take another job out there. I promise you this: You will wind up like everyone else is in right now. Good luck!

Meanwhile: The eyes of the Deaf Community are now on the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) in which they have recently announced 3 final candidates for the position of NTID President. Links:

Let us hope that NTID will continue this process carefully and securely. Let's hope that RIT Board of Trustees are watching the NTID Board of Trustees act honestly and faithfully and prevent any screw ups like the Gallaudet Board of Trustees in what they did of not taking "NO" for an answer from Dr. Alan Hurwitz and then pulling him away from NTID before Dr. Hurwitz ever had a chance to leave NTID peacefully and on his own terms.

In these 3 candidates to come at NTID, one question should be asked: "Did you choose to apply for the position of President of NTID for yourself and by yourself OR were you approached by NTID Board of Trustees ? Answer that HONESTLY!".

NTID must learn the lessons of what happened at Gallaudet University. They must conduct this Presidential search faithfully and transparent. If they do this well, they should come out with a honest president to help secure NTID's future. This is important now.

Sherlock's Computer.. HOSTAGE!

G'day Everyone.

Ever wake up to your computer in the morning and hope to find it running nicely? As you are used to see?

Well, that got shattered for me. The best firewall and the best anti-virus I have, on a recently built system by Dell inc., got hit by a bug.

Unfortunately, it just wasn't any virus bug or malware bug..

THIS WAS A RANSOMWARE BUG!

*shocked* You say: "Are you kidding, Sherlock Steve?".

Not this time! Important as this morning was to me, I missed a lot of things that I was to do
on the computer of all days and those things will take time to be rescheduled.
But this "bug" that is called a RANSOMWARE!. This is a type of program that will literally hit your your computer and HOLD IT HOSTAGE against you. Kind of like : "Pay us or kiss your dear hard drive GOOD BYE!"

"Hostage you say? pfffttt..! That'll never happen to me!" you say.

You try going into your computer with every known trick in the world you learn in the computer field.
What happens is this: the program is designed to mimic a "REAL ANTI-VIRUS" program and say your computer is infected with several different files. What it's actually doing is loading up your computer with those bugs and all the while, it prevents the following:

You can't use your update status of your anti-virus program, you can't use your add or remove programs (it's in there. it doesn't want you to use it). You can't use your Internet explorer. You can't do anything on your computer at all. Your anti-virus will run and say your computer is "clean", but it's really being tricked by this program.

The ransomware will only let you on AIM and Yahoo in a limited way and then block you and say "PAY UP FOR THE ANTI_VIRUS KIT NOW!". At the same time, it continues to say "you are being attacked by..*specific virus bot*.
What it's doing is, as long as you don't pay.. it will continue to load every bit of spy ware, malware, and virus stuff to insure that either you pay up or you can pay a BIG, BIG FEE at your local computer store to fix your computer systems. (that's what the programmer hopes for).

NOT THIS TIME! I reached out to my tech-brother, Robert Goodwin, in a very frantic way because it did look like my systems were going to crash that day. I described to Robert of what I was seeing and then he told me that it was a RANSOMWARE! I never heard of it before in my life. But here it was and I was experience of it.
It was ugly nasty stuff. It's a real PAIN-IN-THE-ASS type of a day.

Once I got into SAFE MODE after the bios booted up, I threw myself into adminstrator mode (which is always a best thing to do. Keep the admin mode fresh while you use your own user file for other things). The admin mode was fresh as a daisy. *NOT INFECTED* (and I intend to keep it that way). It allowed me access to the 'net.. to the AIM, Yahaoo, control panel, to add/remove programs. THAT WAS SWEET!

Robert then sent me a link that's where it had instructions to REMOVE THIS SON OF A BITCH OF RANSOMWARE!

You do have to follow the instruction while in SAFE mode. Follow them exactly as possible.

Once you get the RANSOMWARE gone.. expect a few things gone. but you have to run spybot and malware programs to make sure your computer is CLEAN of future bugs.

So once in a while, not only just update your microsoft program, but your anti-virus (I recommend NORTON because I'm dumping McAfee soon), update and run your malware search and destroy, update and run spybot search and destroy as well.

After I followed with the instructions that Robert said, I can really say my systems are back and running.
and of course, that poor company in England is soon going to be in trouble for what they do! Messing with us, Robert and Steve.. the tech boys. They're in TROUBLE now! >8-)

28 Deaf People arrested in a year.

2010 is turning into the year that many well known deaf people are getting arrested and going through the court system.
Late last year, it started with the VRS Scam that has 26 people arrest Link: http://www.doncullen.net/?p=343.
I thought that wouldn't get any more worse by the time 2010 hit.

Then, in April 2010 Micah Brown was arrested and pleaded guilty. How much of a prison sentence that he's been given? I don't know.

Presently, it's Ridor. It's quite clear that something happened to him. But for what reasons? I can only say I have sympathy for him despite all the crap and shit that he's hurt the entire deaf community and their allies. But my hope is that Ridor will learn some humble things in his jail cell. If he learns it, will he change the way he behaves or not? I can't say for him.

In all, 28 deaf people from all walks of life are running through the court systems right now. A true test of ADA laws, interpreters, and note takers. I don't like it. Nobody likes it.

But one message is clear to say for this post. I want the rest of 2010 to be FREE of Deaf people being arrested, at least anyone that we know of. (knock on wood).

As far as all court cases go at the present: Innocent until proven guilty or conviction.

Ridor in Jail? YES HE IS!

Has the past misdeeds of Ricky Taylor, aka Ridor9th, caught up to him? Apparently it has.

The question is: How serious? While I don't have that info of why he's in jail, I did some surfing on the 'net.
Interesting facts have been found:

RidorLive.com is gone from the blog world. The site has been dismantled. If you try to look for http://www.ridorlive.com/, you'll get info on anti-virus stuff. Interesting!

Another ridor web page: http://countdown2resurrection.wordpress.com/, was suppose to be his grand entrance back into the deaf blog world with the resurrection of http://www.ridorlive.com/ . Upon searching this countdown to resurrection site, it seems ridor fell off the blog world for ONE YEAR already. Which suggests something seriously happened that forced him to lay low from the blogsphere. But you know, he was really excited before that RidorLIVE.com was going to come back. Even I looked for it. Sadly, just no appearance.

But oh.. one curious moment as I looked through his countdown to resurrection site a little more closely and guess what? when he listed his youtube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/ridor9th
I found out his last posting on it was a week ago! Interesting, is it not? So something happened a week ago.

But going back to his countdown to resurrection blog area, I noticed his twitter account: http://twitter.com/ridor9th
The information on that shows he last posted on twitter.com on August 30th. 12 days ago. From what my sources tell me that Ridor never misses to twitter once a day. So why the absence of a twitter and yet, a youtube post a week ago?

Upon reaching his ridor.blogspot.com account and surf it through, I find no other further links to ridor.
But interestingly, his last post on that was April 2009.

Even if you go to: http://www.deafblogs.net/ the only connecting blog to ridor is his ridorLive.com site. it doesn't list any of the other previous sites that listed here of a connection to ridor.

So what do I do? Warm up one little search engine. I used BING. Enter: Ricky Taylor.
Now there's a lot of info on Ricky Taylor (s) out there. But use Ricky Taylor Deaf and it'll get specific. Listing his other blogs and his youtube videos.

One interesting link led me to Robert Mason's post: Link: http://robertmason.blogspot.com/2009/07/ridors-new-blog.html. In it, he says Ridor has a NEW blog! As I looked around Mason's site, I find the link:

So what's happened to Ridor? Nobody knows. Nobody isn't saying anything.

Then just before pressing publishing button on my blog, my sources told me of this blog site:

So it's in hopes that Ridor will have a good lawyer, interpreter, and listen to some good legal advice for himself.

In truth of it all, Ridor may have made many enemies out there in the blog world, but just to say when he wished bad karma on almost anyone he has griped and complained out there (and perhaps some too much as he always keeps doing that), karma can come back and bite his own sorry ass. Looks like Karma ripped a big part of his ass. Ridor's ass that is. I, for one, wished that this situation did not happen to Ridor at all. I say this despite the fact Ridor has been my own nemesis in the blog world. I can only look upon Ridor with sadness.

So until we get some public news releases on Ridor, I should remind my readers this: Ridor aka Ricky Taylor is innocent until proven guilty in court.

This is bad on Ricky Taylor. Just to see him offending a lot of people with his blog and vlog and now to see him stooping low to steal something he needed or wanted? That's bad. He's no more a deaf militant. He's a thief.
So if he ends up in jail for a while, the blog and vlog world will breath a bit easier now.

The Burn of the Quran is STOPPED!

Breaking news! The pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainsville, Florida has HALTED (stopped) plans to burn the Quran after a decision by the Muslim group in NYC, the ones that plan to build a Mosque near ground zero, that plan to move the Islamic and Mosque center else where in NYC. The pastor will fly to NYC Saturday to meet the Imam.

If this information is accurate as it on CNN.com and CNN on TV, let us hope a compromise agreement has been reached. IF this agreement is reached, perhaps the Muslims will respect ground zero for what it is and condemn terrorism for what it is, once and for all. Keep watching!

Don't Burn the Quran on September 11th!

G'day Everyone.

Everyone is talking about September 11th, 2010 Patriot Day. Normally, we would pause to reflect of what happened 9 years ago on the Eastern Seaboard here. The twin towers struck, Pentagon struck, and the courageous passengers fighting back to the death and bringing down their own plane.

That was the day the radical Muslim terrorists took to strike hate, fear, and destruction into the hearts of the American people. They did their job so well, they have been glorified. It has been said that "Allah" has welcomed them all into paradise. But you know what? They've been in hell with all their victims, crying out in pain, and realize that a 2nd death will soon come for them all in a very painful way.

Then our country responded. We took the war to Afghanistan first. President Bush had the right idea to go after Osama Bin Laden. But, the anger and harassment by Saddam Hussen on a daily basis was something that the world could not take any more. Saddam was attacked, captured, judged, and executed. As of present, Iraq now belongs to Iraq people again. Perhaps it will be a free country in time.

Now our troops in Afghanistan have just about 1 year to find Osama Bin Laden before they have to come home. Perhaps we should all take to the heart that we have tried our best to capture him. But know what? God already has captured, judged, and will punish Osama Bin Laden in the same way the terrorists have gone: TO HELL, then LAKE OF FIRE! That's where they all belong.

Presently, two things are happening in our nation. Serious stuff going on.

There's a Muslim group that wants to build a mosque not too far from the ground zero area. In my opinion, it should not be built anywhere near ground zero! It just shows that Muslim faith must build a shrine or mosque near the area where their "comrades" died in their attempt for their faith. But if the Muslims really want to open peace and talks with us all, I and many thousands of Americans with one voice shout this: " MOVE THE MOSQUE ELSE WHERE!" then we will talk. So far, several lawsuits are on the dock for it.

The most important thing happening this Saturday, September 11th is that a church pastor in Gainsville, Florida is going to BURN THE QURAN!
The Rev. Terry Jones, pastor of The Dove World Outreach Center, has said he plans to burn copies of the Quran to protest the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, but the White House and the top U.S. general in Afghanistan say that doing so would endanger American troops overseas. That I can agree of what will happen for all of us.


Many of the Christians across the nation have already (and still doing it) emailed, snail mailed, called, and personally visited this church pastor to ask him to RECONSIDER HIS POSITION OF WHAT HE'S ABOUT TO DO. For the sake of our nation, it's people, it's faith, and the members of military people across the world, We all do ask that Pastor Terry Jones do call off the burning of the Quran. It is no shame to call it off. But for the interests and safety of all the people in the nation and the world, Don't burn the Quran on September 11th! I'm not defending the Muslim faith or it's "precious book", but in the name of respect for the people and their beliefs.


So Pastor Terry Jones, yer being called to reconsider. If you do it, you will face more than an angry mob of every day citizens, military personnel, and Muslim people. You will face an angry world of people. Is that what God wants us to do with our bible? Burn someone eles's Faith Book? I don't think you want to. That is not what God would want.

But if this burning of the Quran happens on September 11th, then I call upon the members of the Dove Outreach Center to FIRE Pastor Terry Jones. Because he only serves the interests of himself and not to the ministry of God.

I call upon every Christian in Gainsville Florida to descend upon The Dove Outreach Center and rescue every copy of the Quran from Pastor Terry Jones and deliver them to the imam of the mosque in Gainsville, Fla. This Quran burning must NEVER HAPPEN. Especially NOT on September 11th, 2010.

Blue emergency boxes on GU campus.

I have been watching the Gallaudet Unversity's actions since the first news of the death of Cheang Kok started to spread across the 'net among the students and on Facebook as well.

The accounts vary and the actions that had happened there is murky at. Cheang Kok is dead while prompt medical assistance wasn't clearly forth coming.

While the blog world is quiet about this, only two items of news popped up.

After reading both sides of the story, I remembered something very important on campus. Here's the very important question:

Quiz time: What are the blue lighted boxes on the campus of Gallaudet? They're all over the campus in every spot possible. They're blue with a flashing blue light when activated.

They are the EMERGENCY RESPONSE POLES! When an emergency happens on campus, as in the case of Cheang Kok's emergency, the first response by anyone should have been this: Some one should have hit the nearest BLUE LIGHTED EMERGENCY RESPONSE BOXES IMMEDIATELY!!

So my question is: WHY WAS THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE BUTTON ON THE BLUE BOX NEVER PUSHED? That's the $64,000 question of the day for anyone to answer. I dare the GU campus community to come forward with an answer of why it wasn't pushed.

Should those those blue emergency response boxes be redesigned to show it's EMERGENCY status? Should DPS hold a class for the entire campus and educate the community as a whole WHY these blue poles have been established on the campus? To the first question: maybe a mini-modification. To the second question: It's a resounding YES!

If someone had pressed the blue emergency response button and DPS would have been in the area faster than a jack rabbit.
So listen up GU campus community. Those blue emergency response boxes are there for your benefit. Those blue boxes are emergency boxes. They're not to be fooled around with and they serve as a beacon for emergency alerts for the DPS.

Had someone actually pressed the emergency response button box, Cheang Kok's life might have had a fighting chance.
So while the Buff and Blue and the Post argue it out, GU's PR just might extra work to help DPS to educate the campus on the Blue emergency boxes. It makes a huge difference than calling 911 from your cell or pager text on campus. Those 15 minutes are important.

Cheang Kok , I will remember you and miss you.

John T. Williams Investigation Petition.

G'day Everyone.

Important to say that John T. Williams was a man shot to death by a newbie cop on the streets of Seattle. This petition is a clear call by the Deaf Community into a proper investigation:

One Number.. BIG SCREW UP!

G'day Everyone.

Some how, Technology may be great for some of us. But it can also be a source of pain, frustration, fear, and life changing event as well. I speak about Cell phones, pagers, and VideoPhones.

If you are NOT careful of who you dial or text to, you can end up in big trouble.

A certain guy in Dale City, Va had a date with a girl last nite. He ended up in bed with her and got her number to see her again. More like he was drunk enough of not to realize what he is doing.

This morning, he starts texting to her, never realize that he's off by one number (effect of hangover, I bet). It was a wild and strange convo. In some ways, some women do use throw away numbers when they meet guys. The whole convo goes on for a 90 minutes of texting. Finally, the woman in the whole mess finally texts him. That's when the guy realizes his mess.
Ends up in major apology to me. So I tell the guy that next time, you may want to make sure you are punching the right numbers.

Truth is, he did piss me off.

In other words, women shouldn't be giving out false number or throw away numbers just because they don't like some one in the bar.

So here's a suggestion for all those women who are dating out there:
If you don't like your date and he asks you for your number, here's what you put down:
1-800- 1NO-DATE.

It's a clear and simple message.

All women who don't like their date they got in a bar should use this type of message to write on paper rather than risk making up a phone number that may later turn out to be real. In this age of terrorism now, it's about the best idea to do.

Sorenson VP and Other VPs attacked

G'day Everyone.

Update: Sorenson put this statement out on Facebooks for many of their members. I share this here:

Sorenson VRS: If you received strange missed calls this morning and are experiencing problems with the VP you use, please reboot the VP. To reboot, unplug the power from the back of the VP and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in. You will need to confirm your e911 address and then the VP should work as normal.

another sorenson statement on FB:Sorenson VRS This morning, someone tried to communicate with any internet-connected device within an IP range. This is not a virus and was not specifically targeted at Sorenson videophones but did appear as a missed call on videophones in that IP range. We have removed these calls from the system. If you are still experiencing problems, a reboot should now fix it.

Sherlock Steve here, just to let you all know, the reboot by disconnecting the VP from the power for 10 seconds (I did a 20 second wait) and then reconnect the power does work. Just remember to verify your e911 address.

About 9:30am to 10am several VideoPhones (VPs) were attacked through their IP addresses. We can only assume that it was hacker that was looking for fresh victims. If you have gotten this IP address- 202.71.111.5 and according to the emails that I got today, several of my friends did. I am very sure countless others have gotten the same answer or experience the same situation.

The deaf community FB world is a buzz about this situation. Sorenson is investigation of this situation. For now they said to REBOOT your VPs by disconnecting power. Count 10 then put the plug back in. This will cause the VPs to choose a new IP address and re-verify your e911 address.

I am going to go public here. I am praying that every hacker and scammer to have a painful death in their lives. For when they get hurt, I hope they experience a full pain that will cause them to die a painful death. That same type of pain will be upon them in HELL and in THE ETERNAL LAKE OF FIRE upon them.

I want to bounty those hackers and scammers. I would pray that the moment they are caught and found guilty, the first thing they ought to have done upon them is have their hands CHOPPED OFF! Then they can live a prison life with out the use of hands.

I know I am angry right now. So are countless others as well.

Be aware, you hackers and scammers, that your death is coming.. PAINFULLY!
