Obama mulls an investigation into BCS! RED TURF?

G'day Everyone!

College Football fans! Take heart! At last, President Obama is mulling (thinking) of an action to investigate the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) to see just how *FAIR* they determine who plays for the #2 and #1 positions in the college football games. LINK: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/jan/29/obama-administration-mulls-action-bcs/

Hopefully this is going to send a *STRONG MESSAGE* to the BCS that a play-off system, not a ranking system, is needed to determine which team is ABSOLUTELY a college football Champion. It will not matter how long football season is, but it's proper and better to honestly determine who's the better team.

Look at Baseball, Hockey, and NFL! They got an HONEST play-off system for many years. WHY NOT THE BCS?! It's time the BCS program either gets honest or they should go out of business all together and let college football play for the enjoyment of football. No college football championship should be determined by ranking. That's no fun at all.

So, BCS, the writing is on the wall. The next pigskin move is yours. It's 4th and long now. If I were you, BCS, I'd punt that ranking system and get with the play-off system before it's too late. If ref's whistles come and you get hit with major foul penalties, it's game over for you. Good luck.

Meanwhile, if you have seen a blue grass field, here's a RED TURF you ought to see:

When the sun's out.. wear some sunglasses! this is going to be REDDISH!

NYcity to Obama: We're PUNTING the Trial OUTTA HERE!

G'day Everyone.

If there was a day when the mayor of New York City finally has the balls to take on the White House and the Justice Department, this was it!

Link: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/01/29/the-big-apple-takes-on-the-white-house-over-9-11-trial/

Basically to say, the trial is so big security related, it would disrupt life in the big apple. Seriously to say, it should be moved to, of all places, a military base where they can put tanks around the base and go on *RED ALERT* for that court trial of these 9/11 criminals. That's the proper place these 9/11 criminals should be tried at. NOT in New York CITY!

Nice job, Mayor of NYC!

Obama's Union speech.

G'day everyone.

How many of you watched President Obama's speech last night? You could hear some people muttering across the room under their breath last night on TV. Nobody didn't want to become an infamous person by muttering Rep. Joe Wilson's "YOU LIE!" as often.

But last night, Obama was trying to sound contrite and honest about the State of our Nation. He offered promises and hopes. He offered incentives and tax breaks. He proposed many changes to the laws. But most of all, he wants congress to work TOGETHER.. right now. Not later.. NOW!

But there is one BRIGHT moment that I liked about President Obama last night. With the Supreme Court having a front row seat, the justices found themselves at the center of attention. About what, you say?
Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/01/28/alito.obama.sotu/index.html?hpt=Sbin
It's all about people who influence elections with advertisements. The supreme court erased those limits a few days ago. President Obama and congress gave the justices their "opinion" LOUD AND CLEAR.

For the few moments of time, it seemed to be the right thing to do. Perhaps it is. But then again, the justices will remember it and may take revenge through some changes of laws. (Let's hope they rather forgive and forget and take what is said very clearly to heart.).

Will congress work together before the Spring Primaries hit? Or will they try to wait to look good before the Fall 2010 elections? Whatever happens, their chance to look like honest working members of Congress for this country, the time has just started from the State of the Union until the 2nd Tuesday of November.

Death visits again.

G'day Everyone.

It seems to be another year in which something happens in a bad way. This time, it was death visiting my family clan. This time, he took my great aunt. Many of us are crying. But, we have been prepared for some time because we knew she had a heart condition. In the end, we were assured that she didn't have much pain. But my great aunt has gone.

The funeral will happen. Almost a big one because she knew a lot of people in her life. After that will be the distribution of her estate. It's sad.

We all don't know when death hits us. We all don't know how we die. We do know the process of dying and what the possibilities that happens. Link: http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0001/0001_01.asp
Death shouldn't have to reunite two old friends who in anger or bitter against each other.
Death shouldn't have to restore love between people when something between them could have been easy to work out.
But death happens every day. It's not pleasant.
One day when King Jesus Christ rules this world, when eternity begins for real, death will be upon it's own death's door. Death will finally be dead, forever.
But, until then, we must pray for the comfort of all those involved.
So one thing is added to my resolutions for 2010: I resolve to take more pictures of my friends this year. Maybe even video. Reasons why is, if death should visit them, I want photos to remember them all.

McBully by McDonalds!

G'day Everyone.

I was just eating lunch at McDonald's today. When I came home, I found this on the 'net in the AOL news.
Link: http://www.walletpop.com/blog/2010/01/27/mcdonalds-may-win-in-court-over-teens-charity-name-but-losing/?icid=mainaimdl3link3http%3A%2F%2Fwww.walletpop.com%2Fblog%2F2010%2F01%2F27%2Fmcdonalds-may-win-in-court-over-teens-charity-name-but-losing%2F

Suddenly, I became VERY SICK about McDonald's. They secured the rights to every "McName" that people want to make because they own the prefix of "Mc". I was disgusted. A teen's life because she wants to have a festival to raise money for Special Olympics. McDonald's isn't budgeting from it's position. So now McDonald's wants to be a McBULLY in order to keep it's "Mc" name.

Well, this is a huge public relations disaster for McDonald's and they know it. The company is large and aggressive. Perhaps this is why it looks like it has peaked and the fall out is going to be large. Should this be the time for a judge to say "CLOSE McDonald's FOREVER", this would be it. Any company that gets into "Mc" stuff and beyond should be a time to have it's business cut down back to it's McRoots.

I think this girl's McFest should stay where it is, in her name and not among McDonald's names. When was the last time a "McFest" held by McDonald's? I say McNEVER in all of it's years of it's business. I have to see one McFest used at all by them.

So I ask the public to stop going to McDonald's. Whatever you would pay for your lunch from McDonalds, I would suggest you donate it to the Special Olympics! Shame on you, McDonald's. Even Ronald McDonald would walk away from you for good too.

AMERICA RISING UP!

G'day Everyone.

Today's post, even though I'm late, I'm writing this as the day before the State of the Union. It's will be President Obama's biggest test of his Presidency. Will he promise change or will he fail? That is the biggest question of all. It depends on how he reacts to the SHOT ACROSS THE BOW after Ted Kennedy's seat was voted over to the Republican side last week. But that shot should be the first *warning* that the people had enough.
Here's a video you should look at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0bh77k2Wdk

Please watch it before it gets removed. We *MUST* take this country back. Two most important opportunities this year of 2010. The Spring Primary 2010 may sound like a quiet time, but believe me, America voters must rise up and vote with their heart, mind, spirit, and knowledge. Obama and the democrats must be put on notice that our country stands for responsibility. NOT for tax, spend, or redistribution. We hoped that Obama would SAVE this nation when Bush ignored the economic perils that were *warnings* are now a full fledged disasters.

It's either Obama and the democrats listen or what has happened to Kennedy's seat will happen MORE OFTEN!

Rise up and VOTE RIGHT America. CHANGE, WE CAN in 2010!

Update: Another interesting info about the State of the Union came over today. Link: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/01/26/the-true-state-of-the-union-a-politics-daily-sampler/?icid=mainaimdl1link4http%3A%2F%2Fwww.politicsdaily.com%2F2010%2F01%2F26%2Fthe-true-state-of-the-union-a-politics-daily-sampler%2F

Thanks to Politics Daily. This is a very informative site. The major fact is that if Presidents don't tell the truth about our country's health, then Rep. Joe Wilson's infamous "YOU LIE!" will not have been in vain. We need more courageous people to speak out "YOU LIE!" often as possible till the truth comes out from our Government. We are on a precarious path in our nation. These are days in which could make or break us.

State of the Union tonight. Good luck, Mr. President Obama. You WILL need it.

FOAMING ANGER AT THE LA TIMES OVER HR 3101!!

G'day Everyone.

I want every deaf person in the USA to send a message. That's right, A TRUE HARD HITTING MESSAGE to the writer of the article in the LA TIMES Newspaper that says HE OPPOSES HR 3101! I was like "what the hell?!". I couldn't believe it when it showed up on the Caption Action 2 website: http://captionaction2.blogspot.com/2010/01/la-times-writer-blasts-hr-3101.html

and here's the LA Times Editorial in question:
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-oe-szoka25-2010jan25,0,1722467.story

So here's what we ought to do. We need to have Berin Szoka, the writer who wrote that opinion in the LA Times, to spend at least a week of wearing WHITE NOISE ear plugs. The National Technical Institute for the Deaf used to make white noise plugs to put in people's ears to simulate "deafness" so that they could feel what it's like being deaf. I don't know if NTID still does that or not.

But the idea that Berin Szoka should be fitted with ear plugs that cancels noise completely in his ears. For one week, Berin should keep these in his ears. Let him experience of what it's like being deaf. Let him experience from our point of view of the world.

Yes, technology is growing out there. TVs and movies are coming on the 'net. Products are being developed to allow the visual disabled to use the 'net is happening. But closed captioning of various programs and web pages is what needed the most. Like YouTube, Netflix, hulu and CNN, they do need closed captioning.

If HR3101 isn't passed in time before TV programming leaps away from Cable TV to the Internet completely, then what Berin Szoka is saying that we the deaf and disabled don't need captioning at all. How far wrong Berin is!!!

Would it take a major lawsuit to force various places on the 'net to provide closed captioning if HR 3101?
Let's hope this does not come to that in the future. HR 3101 wouldn't be costly. Technology is becoming to be cheaply mass producible as well as affordable.

I ask Congress to please CONSIDER the needs of the deaf and disabled community and pass HR3101!

But my challenge to Berin Szoka stands. Berin, spend a week in our shoes. See what it's like to be deaf 24 hours/7 days a week/ 365 days a year! JUST ONE WEEK. Exposure to our quiet world and ASL can have a profound effect on you. Try watching a movie or the news without sound, Berin Szoka. Can you figure things out without speech reading ability when people speak at you and you wear ear plugs that cancels noise? Just one week, come on Berin Szoka!

For the LA Times: SHAME ON YOU! You that allowed some one, like Berin Szoka, to write a shameful discriminative opinion article is a SPIT of injustice upon all of us: hearing, deaf, and disabled community.

I stand and SUPPORT HR 3101! I CALL UPON CONGRESS TO PASS IT ASAP!

Refs bi-assed in football game as usual.

G'day Everyone.

Well, the worst came home to stay today. 2 Dome games playing inside both places. The dome teams have an unfair advantages over teams with outdoor stadiums. But that didn't help well for the AFC and NFC teams.

In the AFC, the NY Jets tried to bomb and attack the Indianapolis Colts hard as they could today. But the Colts threw horse shoes, horse shits, and so many fart attacks that the refs were forced to look away and allowed the colts to rue the game on to win. As the Colts escaped with a win by 30-17, Peyton Manning and his team better be prepared to write their wills for next season when the NY Jets come back to visit. It's going to be a real ugly game.

Also, read what the Jets gave the NFL official some well deserved choice of words:
http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/01/24/no-call-draws-rex-ryans-venom/?icid=mainmaindl1link3http%3A%2F%2Fnfl.fanhouse.com%2F2010%2F01%2F24%2Fno-call-draws-rex-ryans-venom%2F

In the NFC, the game was worse, LOUD and physical. Drew Brees and the Saints managed to voodoo the refs into overtime and then spell bound the refs into making some serious bad calls which should draw a review by the NFL themselves. The saints decided to Voodoo their way into Super bowl 44 by a score of 31-28. Will that save them in Miami? I don't think so. One thing is very costly to the Saints the next time they decide to voodoo brett farve twice, they better think again. Brett made two very costly mistakes. Not only an interception, but he better hit his 12 player who stayed stupidly in the huddle! (Give that player when you get home Coach Childress, a 1000 mile lap around the football field for a while! That was an unacceptable mistake!)

With the play-offs over, the teams of COLTS vs Saints have exactly 14 days (minus their players playing in Pro Bowl next Sunday) to prepare for SuperBowl 44. It may be an overblown match up, but the NFL better send some refs who will be extremely neutral for these coming two games of ProBowl and SuperBowl.

ProBowl is next Sunday. Get ready for some angry AFC vs NFC players. Which organization will claim bragging rights for the 2010 season? We'll find out soon. (though I hope the bragging rights go to AFC).

As the Jets and Vikings limp for home, already revenge games are being planned for next season when they meet the saints and colts respectively. Yes, revenge will be a COLD football dish to serve.

For the Saints and Colts, they better enjoy their last game of the season because next fall, when they face all the teams they beaten this 2009 season, they may not be able to stand atop of the football pile again. So who do I pick to win the SuperBowl 44? Neither. I'm hope for a tied game that'll stand forever.

Bernanke should be replaced!

G"day Everyone.

If hearing and Deaf people would write to, email, and phone your congress people, and tell them ONE STRONG MESSAGE: Ben Bernanke must GO! Ben Bernanke was a President Bush appointment to the Federal Reserve Chairman's position.. He has NOT done a good job in handling the Economic crisis going on in our nation. The public backlash is strong. BUT, Obama wants him?! Link: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/01/24/white-house-confident-bernanke-will-get-a-second-federal-reserve/

I say unto Congress a few choice words: REJECT BERNANKE! VOTE NO!

Ever since the Financial crisis of 2007, did the former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan warned Bush of what was going to happen and let it happen. Greenspan left because he didn't want part of what was coming down the road. Bernanke is that part. But since Bernanke came in this job, he hasn't done great work at all. Our nation is in the worst of the Economic times. There is a need for jobs.

If Bernanke gets re-confirmed, then every congressperson ought to expect that their seats will go to who the voters feel will do a better job. The writing is on the wall already. When people expected that Kennedy's seat would go to a person in the same Democratic person, everyone thought they'd be OK. Obviously, NOT! When the Republican Scott Brown got elected and shocked the Senate, it sent a strong message across the nation.
Voter anger is out there. The voters are saying "CHANGE, YES WE CAN!". This is the strong year to happen.

In 2009, We punished the Republicans and voted for a Democratic President. Since then, disappointments have come about across the land. Now we are seeing in 2010 the voters angers are shifting in two directions: Voting Republican and possible, if there's an independent in the mix, they'll vote an independent in as well.

How will the spring primary season of 2010 go? For President Obama it should be a concern for him. Which means when his State of the Union speech happens this week, it will be the MOST IMPORTANT moment of his Presidency of all. He must convince this nation that he will do his best to put our nation back on track.

If his speech fails, Spring 2010 isn't going to be pretty to many.

New Social Media site for the Deaf!

G'day Everyone.

Give a guy some credit. He's taking on the Social Network Giants like MySpace and Facebook. The word is now getting out after a splash in the RIT/NTID News:
and for those who want to see the site: http://deafpals.com/main/
Basically the site looks a lot like myspace and Facebook. However, this Graduate of RIT/NTID might be hitting his stride at the moment because there has been a lot of rumor on Facebook lately. Some people are especially worried that Facebook might slam down a money gate on the site soon. A lot of people have voice their displeasure about the possibility of paying for Facebook.
What happens if it happens? Everyone leaves Facebook in huge numbers.
So, I give Patrick Petronelli a huge salute for his new social site. Good luck!

Fire up for Football weekend!

G'day Everyone!

Fire up for the NFL football weekend! This is the weekend when there's only two games on Sunday. It's Doom day weekend for the teams. More or less, it's ULTIMATE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF (UFP) Weekend. Each conference has only ONE WINNER to go to the Super Bowl. The loser team goes home right to the start of spring training.

Ok, enough hype on it. Let's get down to work.

As found on: http://www.nfl.com/schedules?seasonType=POST#Week

Sunday: 3pm EST ON CBS
The AFC Championship happens. The Indianapolis Colts are going wild in their stalls right now. They just got all the blood and feathers washed off from the stomping of the Ravens last weekend. They got new shoes on their hooves. Their manes are combed. And they're angry with fury. They have said "It's their last home stand. Defend or be destroyed!"

The Colts destruction might be in the playbook of the New York Jets. The NY Jets had to fly back carefully to NY where they had to under go some major rehabilitation work. The Chargers electrical storms did a lot of damage to the Jets despite the loss. The chargers are feeling pretty smug right now. They feel since they damaged the Jets, they're hope that the Colts will beat the Jets. Don't get your hopes up, Chargers. The NY Jets could bring out some NEW weapons that they're wanting to try for this BIG game. So expect some WILD and hard hitting game that Sunday afternoon. Colts could lose their manes and tails while Jets could lose a wing or a two. My Pick: The Jets will bomb the Chargers and fly on to Super Bowl. Expect to find some big holes on the Colts field that they may have to fill before next season starts.

Sunday: 640pm on FOX-TV

Are we taking a breather? Hell no! If the Jets/Colts game gets really wild and destructive there, get ready for more!
Sunday night, It's the NFC Championship game. This one may really shake you to the core!
The Minnesota Vikings, fresh from the blood thirsty fight and punishing the Dallas Cowboys, are lead by their leader: Brett Farve. They're sailing in, battle axes ready, swords sharp, and ready to bring the fight down to the New Orleans Saints.
The Saints, on the other hand, are expecting to turn the Vikings back home. Good thought, no? Why? They feel, after killing all the Arizona Cardinals on the field last weekend, they got the upper hand.

It could be a close game here. But I pick: Vikings to win. Expect some serious moments to happen on the field.

Don't forget: AFC and NFC will have a closing season game of Pro Bowl this year, which will happen on January 31. Then February 7th: Super Bowl 44 Sunday! Can't wait!

Enjoy the weekend. Men, do yourselves a favor: GET ALL YOUR HOUSE CHORES DONE THIS SATURDAY OR ELSE!! NO FOOTBALL ON SUNDAY FOR YOU! (wives cheering).

Saying Sorry across the internet?

G'day Everyone.

Here's a question everyone should be thinking about. If you said something by a mistake years ago or even months ago, or even recently, should you use the Internet or social media sites to look up a certain person and then, email an apology out? Is that the best way?

Well, one story thinks it is the best way to do it. : Link: http://www.switched.com/2010/01/20/internet-not-just-for-nameless-attacks-apologies-also-abound/?icid=main%7Cmain%7Cdl5%7Clink3%7Chttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.switched.com%2F2010%2F01%2F20%2Finternet-not-just-for-nameless-attacks-apologies-also-abound%2F

Now I'm going to say something else. Anyone can think that you can hide behind the trees of the Internet and attack people. But someday it's going to catch up to you. God has a way of doing just that, seriously.

While it sounds like it's OK to email out an angry/confrontational letter or an apology letter across the 'net, it doesn't replace that you should have a face-to-face meeting with that person.

For me, I personally want to face people that have been angry with me in my life. I need to sit down and talk to them. No more hiding behind the trees of the Internet. If they're willing to meet me, I'd appreciate it. I want nobody bitter with me in their lives. I want to salvage friendships. I want to help others. I want to be able to do this before God calls me one day.

Technology is great, but it just doesn't replace that in personal communication.

So talk to me. No more being bitter or angry with me. Solve it. Today is the best time. Tomorrow may be too late.

Thank you.

Take interviews seriously!

G'day Everyone.

Recession. It's an ugly word. It could have been prevented. But, no..the fat cats of Wall Street Businesses and Banks wanted this to happen so that they could make EASY money. At what price have they paid for it? Had President Bush invoked his powers of Presidential Authority, all the warnings that he had up to the end of 2007, this recession could have been prevented. But no, he didn't. Right on purpose, he left a mess for the next President to deal with. President Obama hasn't made life any easier yet.

While America hopes that recovery will begin and creation of new jobs happen, people are struggling for survival.

Many of us who are looking for work for many months, some for many years, should take job interviews seriously. Some of my friends feel cocky and think they got the job already. Oh please! The interview is merely the foot in the door. We must remember one thing. You are NOT the only person interviewing for this job. There are MANY people wanting the *same job*.

That is where convincing the employer to hire you has to be your best performance of how you give your responses to his questions. If you do it right, you will get the job. Do it wrong, the next person gets it.

I hope you will take job interviews seriously. This recession isn't easy on everyone. I wish everyone the best of looking for work. I do hope President Obama will find a way to create jobs.

YES, CHANGE WE CAN!

G'day Everyone.

It seems to steal a motto from President Obama's theme when he ran for election 2 years ago. But it seems in Massachusetts that voters did something they never thought it would happen. Yes, Change we can! For a long time the state was the golden age of Kennedy's Democratic kingdom.

But last night, the Kennedy saga finally died. I was kind of in shock. I never thought the State of Massachusetts would go to the republican side. It did! Some thought Kennedy's legacy has finally caught up with the times. People may have been afraid of him, but now they're speaking their thoughts out.

Was it a formal review on President Obama and the democrats? It could be. After 8 years of voter ire at the republican party over how Bush handled the country, we shifted to Obama and the Democrats. Suddenly, after 1 year in office, it could be Obama's first notice of how the country is shifting again.

Yes, Change we can by the voters can happen. In the next few months, there will be more elections in different states. Should the Democrats be prepared for voter ire? Yes. What has happened in 2008 could mean 2010 is the political change now.

President Obama should tell his speech writer to choose his/her words carefully. Perhaps Obama himself should make the final draft carefully and be prepared to speak honestly in the coming State of the Union speech since that will be a very major moment in his office.

Perhaps, voters are making one statement: Balance of power must be in congress. If Congress ever become equal power some day, perhaps that is what will help our country.

So, let's look at it clearly. Every political person ought to see it as a formal notice by the voters: Yes, Change we can! Yes, we will! Power to the every day average Joe citizen who knows what is going on out there.

Massachusetts voters, you did wonderful! Salute!

The World's Borders Crossings.

G'day Everyone.

Some one sent me some INTERESTING information on the World's border crossings. When you hear about people crossing into some country's borders against the rules, bad things happen.

So Let's see if I get this right:

IF YOU CROSS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YEARS HARD LABOR.

IF YOU CROSS THE IRANIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU ARE DETAINED INDEFINITELY. (you can only pray for a State Department breakthrough to get you out of it)

IF YOU CROSS THE AFGHANISTAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU GET SHOT. (worse is, if you get caught by the Taliban, yer the next living bomber in their cause!)

IF YOU CROSS THE SAUDI ARABIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE JAILED. (Just pray you don't get your hand or head cut off)

IF YOU CROSS THE CHINESE BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU MAY NEVER BE HEARD FROM AGAIN. (Rest in Peace already)

IF YOU CROSS THE VENEZUELAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE BRANDED A SPY AND YOUR FATE WILL BE SEALED. (not even the State Department can help you!!)

IF YOU CROSS THE CUBAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE THROWN INTO POLITICAL PRISON TO ROT.(Castro still rules the Island. You wouldn't be able to get away)

Now.. what happens in USA?

IF YOU CROSS THE U.S. BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET:

**A JOB,
**A DRIVERS LICENSE,
**SOCIAL SECURITY CARD,
**WELFARE,
**FOOD STAMPS,
**CREDIT CARDS,
**SUBSIDIZED RENT OR A LOAN TO BUY A HOUSE,
**FREE EDUCATION,
**FREE HEALTH CARE,
**THE RIGHT TO A FREE LAWYER TO PREVENT YOU FROM BEING DEPORTED
**A LOBBYIST IN WASHINGTON (to bring more illegal workers in)
**BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS PRINTED IN YOUR LANGUAGE
**THE RIGHT TO CARRY YOUR COUNTRY’S FLAG WHILE YOU PROTEST THAT YOU DON’T GET ENOUGH RESPECT
**YOU CAN WEAR AND THREAD ON THE COUNTRY'S FLAG WITHOUT GETTING ARRESTED AS YOU SEE FIT
**AND, IN MANY INSTANCES, YOU CAN VOTE.

So it seems clear while every country in the world treats the people who cross illegally into the country, they get it rough. Here in USA, they get rewarded for taking away jobs from people in USA who have a need for them right now.

It's high time USA takes a stand against people who come here Illegally. Arrest them and deport them as soon as they are caught. There are THOUSANDS of people who want to come to this country legally to be normal citizens here. People that are here illegally should not be rewarded. They should be punished for it.

Divisional Play-off aftermath!

G'day Everyone!

I'm wiping the blood off the floor. Feathers are everywhere. Guns and hats strewn about the room. An axe or a two needs to be sent back to Minnesota, and some broken prayer beads need to be returned to the Saints.

My gosh! What a weekend. Wait a minute, that wasn't a weekend, that was a football mayhem! What happened?

Let's start with this past Saturday.

Arizona vs New Orleans: The Cardinals were DOOMED from the start. By the time they landed on the New Orleans field, their feathers started to bleed blood. It was bad. By the time the game was over, they were so glad to get the hell out of New Orleans and pulling their fallen flock brothers with them. Saints 45 Cardinals 14. For the Cardinals, they're going to wish that they never had a controversial game ending play with the Packers the last week. That was the very incentive the Saints needed to teach these birds some football honesty lessons. Good call, Saints! For the Cardinals, their off-season is going to be in fear of reprisals in the coming fall from the Green Bay Packers. Good luck, redbirds.

Then another flock of birds, the Ravens, singing that they can BEAT the Indy Colts in the night game, came back to Baltimore looking STOMPED with HORSESHOES prints all over them and they were without their feathers. WHOA! Who's laughing now in Baltimore? Nobody is. Pats are cheering. Colts 20 Ravens 3 is the score.

Two flocks gone. Saints ready. Colts ready. Hell of a mess!

Sunday (yesterday).. WORSE day ever.

Cowboys swaggered into the Minnesota fields, guns blazing and shouting.. MINNESOTA, yer butt is ours!

But they didn't count on the 12th man, the entire PRO-Minnesota crowd. Minnesota went right to work and taught the Dallas Cowboys a *HUGE LESSON*. NEVER TAUNT YOUR OPPOSITION TEAM AT ANY TIME!!

The Cowboys couldn't even get a decent passing game going. Much less only get ONE.. just one..count it.. ONE FIELD GOAL and that was it. They're wishing right now that they stayed right home in Dallas and let Philadelphia Eagles slide on to Minnesota. BUT no.. they had no heart for the BLOOD THIRSTY Minnesota Vikings and Brett Farve. Poor Tony Romo. He was chased down every which way possible. He should be thankful he can still walk.

Minnesota rubs in the salt in the wounds of the Cowboys by a score of 34-3. For the Cowboys, they're going to have learn HONEST football and respect of teams in the off season. Take care of Tony Romo, Cowboys. He's going to need some rehab work in time before next fall. Oh, by the way Cowboys, when you complain about the scores being run up against you, just remember EVERY DAMN TEAM YOU RAN UP YOUR SCORE AGAINST! It was time some TOUGH MEDICINE was handed right back at you! *cheers, vikings! You did it right!

Then came the big game of all: NY Jets vs. San Diego Chargers. In the first half, it looked like San Diego would take control of the game and looked poised to win. They should not relaxed in the 2nd half at all. 2nd half, the Jets ramped up some NEW weapons and attacked.. *HARD* They should be PROUD of their rookie football players and fighting the San Diego Chargers to a near stand still of a 17-14 win! To me, it seems like someone forgot to replace the fuse in the chargers transformer unit in time between the halves. That's what lead to the meltdown for the chargers and the Jets fly away with the win. Congrats to the NY Jets.

Next Sunday..The Blood Thirsty HORDE of the Vikings, lead by their Leader: Brett Farve, will head to the New Orleans BIG HOUSE (dome) for the big fight. Who'll win? Don't know yet. But chances are it'll be a tough game!!

Also Next Sunday.. The Jets will be prepping for an all out war on the COLTS. Expect the Jets to throw everything including clogs in the kitchen sink at those Colts. For the Colts, they better be fast and diving of the hails from the guns of the Jets. Who'll come out of that war strewn game is any one's bet.

So take patience. NFC and AFC championship is coming. We'll know who wins to play the finale in Super Bowl 44!

Another Airport Security Breach!

G'day Everyone.

One of these days, when people break the TSA rules and makes everyone else suffer, they're getting slaps on the wrist and told not to do it again. How much of the warnings went out after the Newark, NJ breach happened, I don't know. But yet, it happened again!
Link: http://www.sphere.com/nation/article/jfk-airport-terminal-evacuated-after-person-uses-door-for-employees/19319665

Now, they have caught the guy which is very good. But the problem is, he doesn't really know his shit that he's in. Many passengers and airlines are suffering because of some body's stupid mistake. Well, they may get some help soon as the laws that are minor for transgressions will soon be elevated to level one felony status.
When that happens, it will break not only their wallets, but their lives as well.

As I often tell people this: Please, obey the airport signs and the TSA officers. People who disregard the airport signs and TSA officers are pretty much at risk to be shot on sight. It's something people should not risk their lives for. We are living in a state of HIGH AIRPORT SECURITY now.

Many people have suffered enough of these travel delays.

Congrats to the people in New York State! They DO KNOW HOW TO PUNISH PEOPLE FOR THEIR MISTAKES!! Now, can New Jersey get THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND PUNISH the love struck asian guy? I'm betting they will just do that too!

Religious people can destroy lives.

G'day Everyone.

Have you ever stared at your computer screen via an email, or get a letter in the mail that starts out like a final suicide note to you personally, or a phone call from someone angry that just shouts some important words that stay with you? Something like:
"YOU DESTROYED MY LIFE!"

Those words can either haunt you for your life, or you can choose to ignore it and later suffer the consequences at your own peril.

Let me repeat that a little louder to the religious crowd out there:
"YOU DESTROYED MY LIFE!"

So why do I choose to shout it out? I know a few religious organizations that I used to be involved in long ago in my young life. I learned the hard way that if you don't play by their "rules", they can choose to destroy your life and then claim "God led us to do that so you can't get along in the world with anyone else but us". When you don't play by the "rules", they can betray you as much as they please to do and they can think that they're scoring points with God for an easy after life. But destroying my (and your) life can also have a personal consequence of having the religious organization paying a price of their own of standing behind the Word of God.

Since then I've rebuilt my life in a non-religious way. I may seem rebellious to some people (even to some of my still religious friends), but I have chosen to shun a few things I once enjoyed doing. But along the way in my current life, I had a close friend who told me a dark and terrible secret that he had been living with for a long while. I did not know how to help him. I felt helpless for him.

When I told a group of my confidential friends about my close friend, we all agreed that it would remain with the group and it would not go anywhere else but our prayers to God for help of my close friend. I was given assurance. I promised of what I would do to them if I was betrayed. I had hoped it wouldn't come to that point in my life. But now it may have.

In a moment of time, two former friends of mine, who were once my close confidants, decided to try to score points with my close friend and told him what was going on. Only that they choose to *twist the truth* to the way that it sounds like it was God leading them to say things against me to my close friend. That was their betrayal of me and my group of confidential friends.

In another moment of time later, I was given one of the most angriest emails that I ever had in my life from my close friend who called me every swear name in the life that he could think of. But of course, the opening email starts out with:
YOU DESTROYED MY LIFE!

I have tried to ask my close friend questions and asking him to sit down and talk with me in person. I needed to find out what was going on and who said what. But he's too angry to see things straight. I'm hope he will one day sit down with me before it's too late in this life.

As for the two former confidential friends of mine: time has passed for those two. They were given many chances to explain their actions defensively. Of course, they both have chosen to hide behind their bibles and praying that God will "defend" them. Their actions are their choices. But, I will have the final say. Of when and where I will strike at these two ex-friends will be left up to God and me. Trust me, it won't be pleasant to either of them when it happens.

However, if there was grace to exist in this world, it would extend to every person who destroyed my life and to every person who's angry with me for whatever reason they have, I would encourage those people to contact me and say "Let's sit down in person and talk things out. " If they do that, they could not just only regain friendship, but rather have true forgiveness and get true points with God. Plus, they get bonus points if they choose to help rebuild my life more.

But if they choose to wait till the judgment seat hits before the throne of God, every one of them loses so much more and then more hard feelings are created in the afterlife.

So while we're here on earth, let's try helping people put their lives back together, in a non-religious way. People deserve to enjoy life. They also deserve to be helped and lifted up in prayer. The less people betray their friends, the more good they can do to help each other.

In closing, I ask my close friend to please, contact me and sit down with me. We need to talk things out before it's too late. Let's find the truth before we're too angry, blind, and lost to the truth. Bitterness should not stand in the way to find out what's really going on.

Anti-Religious pictures in the news.

G'day Everyone.

Several years ago, a dutch newspaper decides to publish a cartoon of Mohammad in their newspaper. The Muslim community got angry and issued a decree that the person who drew it *MUST DIE*. Several attempts were made on that person's life. All of the would be Muslim attackers were caught and eventually put in jail. But why were no attacks happened on the dutch newspaper? Makes me wonder. All over an opinion of a cartoon.

Then I came across today of something very interesting on CNN.com news.
Link: http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-391134?hpt=Sbin
If you can't see it, it's more a cartoon picture that shows Pat Robertson being transformed into *GASP!* THE DEVIL HIMSELF! (sarcastically speaking: I KNEW THAT HAD TO BE TRUE!! But not really.).

But does Brixton Doyle's drawing of Pat Robertson into "The Devil" (after he's been pictured a saint for so many years) will be a cause for Christians to kneel down and plead with God to issue a holy decree to KILL BRIXTON through a miracle judgement and hit CNN offices world wide? Unfortunately, I don't think so. Christians may get mad, but that doesn't excuse them for supporting Pat Robertson's anti-Haiti statements.

In reality, it shows that Pat Robertson no longer cares about the concern of souls in the world and only cares about TV ratings and getting his name in the news. Perhaps, Brixton is right about Robertson as an opinion. But then again, Robertson ought to kneel down and start praying for his very life because God just might be calling Robertson home.

If anyone decides to go against Brixton, just do a letter to the editors of CNN.com. That's the best idea.

Finally, if you need help with your printer, here's a very handy cat!

ANTI-Football BIRDS Weekend!

G'day Everyone!

Ok you arm chair quarterbacks! We've drank, wept, and rested from last weekend. The wild card play-off is now history.

But now the Divisional Play-offs happen this weekend. Ready for it? Let's break it down.
The Saturday Games of January 16th:

The Red Birds of Arizona take their flock and wing their way to the land of the New Orleans Saints. It will be at 4:30pm on FOX tv. Will the Red Birds get over their celebration after their controversial destruction of Green Bay? They have better hope to hang on their feathers because the Saints could invoke the gods of football that could molt their feathers pretty fast. So they better play some smart football if they want to escape the Saints.
My pick (and I'm chilled to say it) New Orleans Saints will molt the Cardinals.

Later in the evening, another flock of birds will wing to Indianapolis Colts ground. The Baltimore Ravens have been in a party mood since they crushed the depressed New England Patriots. The Ravens have better be careful. The Colts have been kicking the walls of their barn at every picture of the Ravens this week. Some of those walls are pretty damaged. So if the Ravens want to survive the colts, they best fly high. If more than one gets caught on the ground, they could lose more than a broken wing.
The evening action begins at 8:15pm on CBS. It won't matter if the Saints and Cardinals are playing OT. The game goes on.
My Pick: The COLTS. The Ravens will lose their feathers just outside the barn doors.

Sunday, January 17th, 2009

The worst of the worst action will start to happen on this day. Be ready for it.

Early afternoon, the celebrating Dallas Cowboys will stride into Minnesota Vikings at 1pm on FOX TV.
While the Cowboys have partied all week of tearing apart the Philadelphia Eagles 3 times this season, they haven't been really prepared for face the Vikings.
The Vikings have been prepared with a lot of WAR DRUMS and WAR CHANTS this week. They have vowed "NO COWBOY SHALL BREACH THE END ZONE WITH OUT HIS BROTHER TORN APART!". Expect Minnesota Vikings to come CHARGING in a blood thirsty war yell as much as possible. The only hope for the Cowboys to escape is some smart cannon ball fires and do NO CRAZY plays. They had best be careful.
Since the Cowboys killed the Eagles, All of PA says (my pick): GO GET THEM VIKINGS! PULL THEM APART!

By the time game on the west coast starts at 4:40pm, the vikings should be mopping up all the blood and gore on their field.
At 4:40pm PM on CBS, The New York Jets fly into the danger zone of the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers have been powered up and are promising an electric STORM all game long. They said some EMPs might explode during the game so keep your sun glasses handy! The New York Jets have been refueled full and armed to the max with special weapons this weekend. We won't see any of the usual bombing runs, but expect some tight formations and attack patterns to happen on the field. Hopefully, the jets will rubber blast the chargers and ground them as much as possible.

My pick: NY Jets will fly away this time.

Sunday, January 24 Conference Championships.
AFC 3pm on CBS. NFC 6:40pm on Fox.

Sunday, January 31 in Miami: AFC vs NFC at 7:20pm on ESPN. This is the year PRO BOWL game happens BEFORE the Super Bowl. It should be good.

Don't forget SUPER BOWL XLIV on February 7!

Enjoy the weekend. But I say to the SAINTS and COLTS: CRUSH THOSE DAMN BIRDS!!

Use Caution with 2010 Census Workers!

A friend of mine asked me to pass this on to my readers today. It's a reminder that we must remain cautious as census workers are making their way around the nation.
***********************************************************

*Be Cautious* about giving your information to the U.S. Census Workers with the U.S. Census process that is just beginning. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) advises people to be cooperative, but to *be cautious* as not to become a victim of fraud or identity theft. The first phase of the 2010 U.S. Census is under way as workers have begun verifying the addresses of households across the country. Eventually, more than 140,000 U.S. Census workers will count every person in the United States and will gather information about every person living at each address including name, age, gender, race, and other relevant data.

The *BIG QUESTION IS* : how do you tell the difference between a U.S. Census Worker and a con artist? The BBB offers the following advice:

** If a U.S. Census worker knocks on your door or rings your door bell, they will have a badge, a handheld device, a U.S. Census Bureau canvas bag, and a confidentiality notice. *ASK* to see their identification and their badge before answering their questions. HOWEVER, it is advised that you should NEVER invite anyone you don't know into your home.

** Census workers are currently only knocking on doors to verify address information. *DO NOT GIVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, CREDIT CARD, OR BANKING INFORMATION to anyone, even if they claim they need it for the U.S. Census. (note: If they keep insisting for it, call the police!)
While the U.S. Census Bureau might ask for basic financial information, such as a salary range, they will not ask for social security, bank account, or credit card numbers nor will employees solicit donations.

Eventually, the U.S. Census workers may contact you by telephone, mail, or in person at home. However, they will NOT contact you by E-mail. Be aware and be on the look out for E-mail scams that will try to impersonate the U.S. Census.

DO NOT CLICK on a link or open any attachments in email that are supposedly from the "U.S. Census Bureau".

**************************************************************************************

Sherlock here, while this is an important year in our nation to see how our country is doing geographically, I am asking many of my readers to be very cautious at this time. If you do not want to deal with the representative from the U.S. Census bureau or you are alone at that time, ask for a card that you can call their local offices and schedule a time for a visit in which you will be very happy to take part in the U.S. Census then.

Sadly to say, con artists will try to mimic these census workers. Ask for IDs and badges. If you do not like what you see, call the police and let the deal with these people.

Everyone has a right to keep their information protected and being safe this year.

Looking for warm weather? Wait on Phil!

G'day Everyone.

Are you complaining and bitching of COLD weather? Want some really warm weather to happen? Then wait on Groundhog Phil. It won't be long till February 2nd, 2010 hits and then we'll all know if winter is going to end early or there's more storms going to happen. If you want to see the groundhog show LIVE:
For me, how do I know if winter's going to end early? I look at my flower bed. The last few years, I've seen buds of flowers popping up out of the ground and I get a sense that the seasons are going to change EARLY.
So bear the days of the cold times. When Phil pops out of his ground, we'll all know what he says. Hopefully an early spring will a good indications that better times are going to happen for this decade.
Maybe tonight you can kick back by the fire and enjoy GROUNDHOG day: the movie.
In the meanwhile, I urge many people to pray for the nation of Haiti and that many people will be found alive as possible. Pray for the safety of many rescue workers as well.

Pat Robertson: Sick Preacher!

G'day Everyone.

I respect men of God in various faiths. Especially among the Baptist preachers. However, if a Bible thumping pastor has to make himself "some news" of his own, then he's nothing but a show man of humanity and not for the cloth of God.
Pat Roberson's news: http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/01/13/haiti.pat.robertson/index.html

For one thing, I am extremely sad for this television evangelist. What he said about the Haiti's disaster makes him a dangerously walking dead man already. Haiti may have had their own problems of using to occult to solve their problems. But calling the recent disaster in Haiti as "God's judgement on that nation" doesn't even compare to the day when God will hit the ENTIRE WORLD with TWENTY-ONE (21) SUPERNATURAL Judgements as according to the book of Revelation in the end of days.

What has happened in Haiti is one disaster to hit upon this earth. But when God judges this world WORLD WIDE ENTIRELY, it will be *MUCH, MUCH, MORE WORSE* than before. Robertson shouldn't point out the sins of Haiti, but rather pray for the survivors that remain behind in that place. So if Robertson wants to say "sorry for his words, then let him get to Haiti fast and start helping the people there like everyone else.

It would also be far better for the 700 club to replace Pat Robertson before they get any more trouble with his motor mouth. Walk way from the TV and your work, Robertson, before God decides to have you "walk on" home for a lecture of eternity in the school of God's preachers.

BREAKING NEWS: Plea agreements in the Viable case!

G'day Everyone!

I got tipped off to look at the Department of Justice Web page and found that two people have entered Plea agreements before the trial in the Viable VRS case.
What it means that Mowl and Tropp pleaded guilty and are set to testify in the court action against the defendants in the Viable Case. The trial is set for May 24, 2010.
Sadly to say that the case is looking worse than before now. Let's home Mowl and Tropp were looking to do the right thing. But if it goes ill for them.. yick.
While bad news seems to slip through today, this is some good news to happen.
Ever wondered what happened to those kids who helped make the movie of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"? Well, wonder no more:
These kids look very fantastic after making that movie. Congrats to them!

Food Nerds live on RIT campus!

G'day Everyone.

I'm a alumni. A graduate of a college. At first, I hail and love Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. It's campus is still improving now after the problems of the protests. President Hurwitz has a lot of work to do. So I hope he is successful to make it a better place.

Then I hail and love the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) which one of the many colleges of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY. When I attended that college long ago, it was sitting in a country environment that made it feel like you are away from your home in a open space where everything seems to flow easy.

But now, the years have changed and when I last visited that campus, it has become a city of its own! It's huge and it's wild. It has many things going on. Very way easy to get lost on it! The fields I spent combing around in long ago are long gone. Trees are cut down, replaced with houses and buildings. The campus seems to be on a mad pace to keep improving ever so much more! But, the one thing I learned about NTID/RIT that it can be a techno-nerd place.

That is what drew my interest to learn computers there in the first place. We students of the past days had it tougher on campus there compared to today's students that seems to have it all made now.

But then here's what drew my response to this post. Link: http://www.rit.edu/news/?v=47222
The article is called "Ctrl alt DELI: quite possible the nerdiest deli in America" ? Well, when I read it, I was amazed. It seems to fit well for a techno crazed college here. Where else would you put a Ctrl alt Deli? Silicon valley? Now that's a thought. Yes you do have to speak a little DOS language a bit if you want something. But it's a lot of fun.

So it seems to pair up well with it's other type of food store on campus : Bytes on the run, a grab and go place.

What's next iSandwhich? Macburgers? Gateway salads? Dell Deli? HP Pies? IBM Pizza? Etc, Etc. I'll stop while I'm ahead.
By the time the next RIT reunion happens as well as the NTID reunion happens, I'm sure everyone is going to want to stop in and take pictures of the place.

So RIT/NTID students, be happy you got a nice campus and nice places where you can enjoy food.
Places like this will last for a while, but look in 20-25 years and see if new things are better.

Bundle up and be warm out there. I still remember those cold quarter mile walks. *shiver*

a little adult stuff on Seek Geo!

G'day Everyone.

I like Seek Geo! I really do. He makes me laugh and does a lot of zany videos. Yes, he can be abrasive when he wants to be. But is he better than Ridor? HECK, YES! So in a way, Seek Geo replaces Ridor. A better trade off.

Really, Seek Geo got a little adult stuff on his blog when he mention:

I sleep naked!
I was really surprised about it. Link: http://www.seekgeo.com/?p=4881
So how many people really do sleep naked out there? On second thought, don't answer. What happens in your bed, stays in your bed. No matter how you sleep, you do want to be in comfort. But do give credit to Geo for being forth coming. It makes him human.
Also, check out Geo's other story: http://www.seekgeo.com/?p=4879 "what does 'Peace' mean".
Sadly to say some of us bloggers and Vloggers deal with some comments that keep on bashing us because they want to pick a fight or at least drive home a point that we won't forget and then try to smooth things out by saying "Peace" as in "forgive me for what I have to say, but I have to say and now I said it right against you, I say peace as in not to take any revenge against me".
Well, what I don't print in the comments area for approval are the bashers. I know one person that used to attack me often as they liked, often leaving "peace" at the end. But, I'd never approve it and tossed it to the 'net trash bins. It was worse on the previous blog site I had.
So I'm going to say this: If you want to bash me, fine. You'll waste your time doing it because it won't get printed. Don't even bother saying "peace". You don't believe in peace because when you bash, it's war already in progress.
Keep up the great work, Geo!

Aftermath of the Wild Card Play-offs

G'day Everyone.

What the HELL happened? In the Aftermath of the Wild Card play-offs, almost everyone is burning up the chat world and emailing people at the headquarters of the NFL area. If there wasn't such a controversial weekend of Football, this was it.

Let's do the breakdown of I predicted:

Jets vs. Bengals: WHOA. You could believe the bombing runs, the fly-overs (passing), and doing a whole lot of damage the NY Jets did on the Cincinnati Bengals. Impressive but well played game. The Bengals did a great job to keep it clean and close. The Bengals deserve some respect! No doubt the Bengals are growling : "we'll pull those fliers down next fall!" Pick choice: Success!

Cowboys vs. Eagles: If you were a Dallas fan in a Philly Eagles supporter bar, you obviously had no choice but to hustle out of the bar by half time. It was pretty much of an ugly mood in Philly area while in Dallas was going nuts of winning over the Eagles, TWICE! For the NFL, it was black eye #1 to happen. The Dallas players were celebrating so much why wasn't it called for penalty?
Well, sadly to say that it's a gut feeling that Donovan McNabb is going to be on his way out. Michael Vick? Depends on his future. The final score was 34-14 in Dallas' favor. Pick choice: FAILURE!

Well, we all slept and hope it was a bad dream. We had Sunday to look forward to. BUT no.. We all wondered if those damn Dallas Cowboys gave away some damages to other teams? How?

Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots: Every Pats fans went "OH MY GOSH" for every time the Ravens had the ball and played like the Dallas Cowboys! The New England Pats tried to play but they couldn't muster courage. It wasn't a game. It was a near damn blow-out by the Ravens. By the time the damn birds flew away from the foxboro stadium, it left behind stunned fans looking at a score: Ravens 33- Patriots 14.
No doubt those Patriots are going to post : *WANTED - DOWNED RAVENS IN FALL 2010!* for next season.
My pick: FAILURE

Just before the Green Bay vs. Arizona game happened, I realize every losing team score was ending in 14 points. I felt "that's odd.. how can it happen to end in 14 points 3 times?". I didn't try to comprehend it.

Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals: If there was the worst of the worst games to happen last nite, this was it. It was black eye #2 for the NFL in this one. The Cardinals were playing wild as the Ravens and the Cowboys. They were not playing football. They were playing RUGBY!
That's not all, those officials on the field are lucky the security was there. I'm sure thousands of Green Bay fans wanted to rip into them choke the living shit out of them. It was a close, close game. But in the end, Arizona made a controversial OT touchdown ending that will put the NFL into a public relations defense mode for a long while. Packers 45 Cardinals 51. These flock of birds better enjoy what season they got left till Fall 2010.
Because if they meet up Green Bay Packers again, Arizona Cardinals better write their last will and testament really detailed of where they want their remains shipped off to. My Pick: Failure!

Before I detail about this coming weekend's play off games, I think I'm going to go lay down a while. It was an ugly ugly weekend that didn't come out any better. Only the NY Jets played their best.

Opinion against Gally Protesters

*Please note: This is strictly my opinion. **
G'day Everyone:

I knew this was going to appear sooner or later before Hurwitz was installed as President at Gallaudet. I had every hope that the Protesters of Gallaudet University 2006 (AKA Unity for Gallaudet (UfG)) would lay low and stay quiet for all our sakes. But, no they had *to inform the world* of their "Victory". AGAIN!
Link: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2010/01/prweb3392964.htm

At what price is their "victory"? This is not victory. This is the rubbing of an "IN YOUR FACE GALLAUDET BOARD OF TRUSTEES!" kind of thing. It's not proper at all. It would have been better to just congratulate the Board of Trustees, Davila, and welcome Hurwitz to the continued line of Gallaudet Presidents. The Protesters points of view have been made long ago. But, I think the Gallaudet Board of Trustees are reminded again of how much more law and order is needed on the campus of Gallaudet in the coming years ahead. How much of will it cost for students to set up a future protest on campus? I hope to never see another one happen at all. Look at the years:

In 1988 the Gallaudet Protesters (who were of the Deaf President Now movement or DPN) went against the GU Board of Trustees over the selection of a hearing woman: Elizabeth Zinser. Zinser would later resign and I. King Jordan would start his long tenure to happen as the first Deaf President. The Jordan years were ok, until the very end of it. This protest is what changed the world and made life better for the Deaf community.

When President Jordan said he would step down October 2005, the year long process began the start the next drama that would lead right into controversial selection of Jane K. Fernandes by the GU Board of Trustees. That was when the moment of time the students revolted and protested against the GU Board of Trustees over the decision. Tent Cities appeared in a sympathetic movement for the Gallaudet Protesters for the remainder of Spring 2006.

Don't forget that Gallaudet University had it's most embarrassing moment in it's long history when Jane K. Fernandes didn't step down from her provost office in time before the 2005 graduation ceremony. She was listed as Provost / President-elect of GU. It wasn't until hours after the graduation ceremony was over, she was told to step out of the provost office or else. She complied and stepped down.

By Fall 2006 Tent City II began and the tone of the protest shifted. Instead of protesting against the Board of Trustees, which was the proper thing to do, it had degraded into personal attacks on Jane K. Fernandes and I. Jordan and protesters fought in a daily drama of public relations battle on TV, Radio, and blogs. The blog world was on fire and full of pros and cons.

President Jordan grew tired of seeing the protesters blocking the 8th street gate for days on end and finally ordered the entire mob arrested on that dark Friday. Only that the DC police would take away those that were willing to be arrested. Worth the "victory" to have a police record for life or as a protester's badge of courage? I don't think so. Jordan was well within his rights to see order restored on university property.

So what drew the Gallaudet Board of Trustees finally fire and dispose Jane K. Fernandes out of her contract? How about threat of the number of hunger strikers who were close to life threatening illnesses? That's what drew the Board of Trustees to finally draw the line. Only as long as the student protest leaders were to immediately get ambulances and haul the hunger strike protesters to the area hospitals for emergency treatment at the moment Jane K. had stepped down. It is no victory when the threat of human life is in danger. It is not worth that celebration to have happen. It was insanity and stupid.

The final formal end of the Gallaudet Protesters came when President Davila was named as first as an Interim President. He would be later named as the 9th President. That was it. Point was made and clearly heard.

We need not to be reminded of how much these student protesters risked their necks when our world is in an age of a terrorist war going on. We were an open and tempting target in the city of Washington, DC for someone that could have brought a bomb and set it off among the crowd on campus. That is not victory to celebrate about. But rather thank God for God's protection. Why?

Think of how much work the GU Department of Public Safety and DC Metro Police Department had to do to insure the student protesters were safe inside and outside the campus every day. That's a lot of number of man-hours worth of work. This is not the protesters victory to celebrate about either. This should be a day that the protesters should THANK the GU Department of Public Safety and DC Metro Police Dept for all their hard work that they done in 2006.

No, my friends, as I remind again the final victory of the protesters was celebrated the moment Davila became 9th President. It was the conclusion of that celebration was when Davila was honored to leave our campus to prepare for the incoming 10th President Dr. Alan Hurwitz.

It's time for the Gallaudet Protesters to stop shoving the GU Board of Trustees. It's time for respect now between the Gallaudet University Board of Trustees and the Students. It's time now to formally welcome and celebrate Dr. Hurwitz as the 10th President of Gallaudet University.

It's also time for Dr. Alan Hurwitz to impose law and order on the campus of Gallaudet University and insure that no more student lead protests or riots happen again in the future. 2 protests are ENOUGH!

This is the new slate that we all wanted to see happen now. This is a new chapter of history now on this campus of Gallaudet University. This campus needs a good beginning again and Dr. Hurwitz is at it's very start at the helm.

If we have not learned anything about the last 21 years of our lives, then we are doomed to repeat again later in the future with more disastrous consequences. Let us hope it doesn't happen again at all!

To the student leaders of the future of GU: do yourselves a favor, get a lawyer and use the law and the courts to your advantage. If the protesters of 2006 had done just that, we might have had a better outcome than the mess we have today.

Let's hope Gallaudet University's future is brighter than ever. Good luck, Dr. Hurwitz and welcome as our 10th President. Bring Law and Order to this campus and stabilize it as much as possible.

Football Craze Weekend

G'day Everyone.

If you gotten over your sickness about the Alabama Tides that won the BCS National Championship (still many people calling for true college play-off systems) over the Texas Longhorns, then it's time to cheer for the real NFL play-off system that starts TODAY!
You can keep track of what's happening at : http://www.nfl.com/schedules?seasonType=POST#Week

Today at 4:30pm on NBC, The NY Jets will fly into attack formation against the Cincinnati Bengals. Most likely the Jets will be doing bombing runs and stratification against the Bengals. The Bengals will be backed into a corner. Expect them to roar, claw, and bite their way against the NY Jets. But my pick is on the NY Jets to win.

Tonight: 8:00 pm on NBC, a very bad rematch is going to happen. My sources tell me that Dallas Cowboys wish they hadn't riled up the Philadelphia Eagles this week. Oh, they did so! Police and ambulances will be standing by outside the Dallas Cowboys stadium tonight. The Eagles are so angry, they got some sharp talons to claw those cowboys in a very deadly way. The Cowboys should consider to play some clean and honest mid-west football if they want to keep their fans. But they should expect to be banged up badly. If the Cowboys manage to win this blood fest, they might not have the energy to get past the 2nd round. I expect the Eagles to attack relentlessly and often. Show no let up until the end of 4th quarter. My pick is Eagles.

Sunday: 1pm on CBS, another flock of birds descends in the state of New England. The Baltimore Ravens visit the New England Patriots. The Ravens have been cawing all week of how they stole the play-off spot from Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh has already vowed to STOMP those ravens next season. But Pittsburgh is already siding with the New England Patriots. The Ravens may already be in trouble this time. WHY?
#1 The Patriots may over come the loss of a player and be very motivated to win the game.
#2 The Patriots play a better game when it comes to heavy snow and bitter cold. This weekend is going to be EXTREME COLD! So unless those birds have thick feathers, they better be prepared to flee the cannons (the running game) and guns (air passing) of the Patriots. My pick: The New England Patriots. (even though I don't like them).

Sunday: 4:40pm on Fox, there's another set of birds that are waiting for some cheese heads to MELT in the Arizona desert heat (if there is any). The Green Bay Packers land into the Arizona Cardinals area for this game. Packers have only one mission to do: Stop the Cardinals right here and now! The means, they'll throw everything they got at those pesky red birds. Even the kitchen sink! The Birds, who were pesky last year, had better be sharp. Because if not, they could find themselves to be de-feathered before halftime! My Pick: Packers to win.

So we'll see who makes these play-off games this weekend. Next week: The division rounds.

Y B Deaf? Y B Hearing? 30 years later.

G'evening Everyone.

Well, one specific blog I found on deafread made realize something:
Link: http://ehwhathuh.blogspot.com/2010/01/healing-deafness-and-becoming-normal.html

It made me realize and look back on my first English paper I did about my deafness when I was "test person" for the mainstream classes in the Fairport Central School district , back in 1980. When I wrote the paper, it gained me an A+ on it. I can remember many of the questions long ago when my friends and classmates asked me this:
"Would you trade your deafness to be hearing?"
"Which would you rather be deaf or hard of hearing?"
"Would you want God to heal you to be normal?"
At those days, I said "I don't know. Ask me in 30 years." Well, it's 30 years later. I look back on those questions now.
Of the first question: There are some days I'd want to trade my deafness for having hearing. There are some days I wouldn't at all. So some times it's been hell of a personal roller coaster.
Of the second question: Hell, yeah. I'd stand up and being glad I'm deaf. When I walk into some place so noisy that hearing people can't stand it, I get strange looks that is enough to say "how damn lucky you are to be deaf". Luck doesn't have that when you consider how God made me and others.
Of the 3rd question: There have been times that I struggle in personal faith and some times I ask of God make me normal, make me hearing, anything other than being deaf. But when I look over the years, some times I'm glad for the way I am made to be.
Some time ago, I got asked this question : "If it wasn't being a deaf mainstream test person in a hearing high school, where would you want to have been then?".
First and foremost: A DEAF SCHOOL! When I had been taught sign language in high school, I had nobody I could carry on a conversation with. I had to wait till I hit NTID later. Personally, if my parents and the school district fought for me to be placed in a deaf school, I would have done much better rather than forcing me to act, walk, talk, and be like a hearing person and eventually, hiding my hearing aid behind my hair. I appeared to be hearing in every way. But I had to struggle to hear everyone in class. I had no interpreters then, but had note takers and tutors. Not many hearing friends either then.
If I had gone to a deaf school, life would have drastically different for me. Maybe I could have done better. Maybe. Rather than becoming the poster kid that survived the testing of a deaf person in mainstream school. What they don't know is the number of times I personally considered suicide. It was hard being a deaf person in an all hearing school. Perhaps that's when my first girl friend (hearing, of course) recognized my situation and helped me through the tough days in high school. I do thank her very much. (if she reads this, i hope she gets in touch with me.).
Today: I look back of having the best of both worlds. But just one problem in this life. I'm seeing too many hearing parents that react fast of finding out their child is deaf and then just as quickly to get the CI on their kids. I would tell those parents to please SLOW DOWN! Teach them sign language first before you force them to become "hearing wanna be" kids.
When I look back on how my first 7 years of my life were peaceful before a hearing aid was forced on my ear without any sense of warning. I wasn't even introduced to it! It was child abuse in it's worse nature. Many times, I was forced to wear my hearing aid as I grew up. Many times I drew rants and taunts and told my parents: "this is my body you damn well know! I have certain personal rights!". They bore it all in stoic silence and waiting for the day I would come to accept the hearing aid as being a part of my life. Only did I play act that I accepted it.
But there are times when I was in college and when I was off my job, I'd go for a day or two in total deafness and enjoy it. How will the CI kids deal with their problems? I wish I could live till 2045 to see how they blog about their own deafness and how much they come to appreciate their parent's forced CI upon them. That's a dream you know.
So, at this point in life, whatever you are deaf or hearing, Disabled or not, whatever you are in this life, remember one motto: "When life hands you lemons, make some sour candy or Lemonade".

Damn you BCS! Damn love birds! Damn Bomber!

G'day Everyone!

Once more, the Bowl Championship Series has provided us a night in which was a predicted conclusion to happen. Of course, the staff of BCS that picked these teams hoped it wouldn't happen at all. But their fears came real when Alabama Tides rolled over the Texas Longhorns last night. Most of the TV audience left just after the start of the 3rd quarter. Nobody was interested in the rest of the game and we knew the Tides would win and they did.

BCS ought to heed the calls for a proper college football play-off system. They shouldn't worry how to do it but get it done. Even if it means by Presidential Order by President Obama! People are tired of watching the southern conferences walk away with the championship year after year and thumbing their noses at the northern conferences. It's got to stop. If we suffer one more college football season in BCS games that mess up everything, there's potential lawsuit to happen soon that could end the BCS and just allow bowl games to go on. Just no championship to play for.

Meanwhile, I'm hope that the TSA will track down those damn lovebirds and make them pay. Yes, folks, it was two young people in so much love, that they had to just make another embrace of saying "Good-bye my love", while causing a security scare all over the Newark Airport. Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/01/07/nj.security.breach/index.html (the first link talks of the security scare.
Another newspaper reports about these two lovebird were found out. Link: http://www.gadling.com/2010/01/08/video-shows-the-cause-of-newark-airport-shutdown-a-couple-in-l/?icid=mainmaindl1link3http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gadling.com%2F2010%2F01%2F08%2Fvideo-shows-the-cause-of-newark-airport-shutdown-a-couple-in-l%2F
I hope these two people gets arrested and they can face the thousands upon thousands of angry people about their "love". (thanks gadling!)

So I am going to tell you something. You can practically ask the airline agent if they could escort the passenger to the gate. Depending the time of the day, most airlines will let you escort a ticketed passenger to the gate. Once the passenger's plane leaves, you have to come out of that area. I have done this many times for my deaf friends who can't hear. I have even escorted my blind deaf friends as well.

If these two love birds would have done just that, no problem would existed. I will bet you once these lovebirds are caught, they'll learn everything *the hard way*.

Please, if you love someone who's taking a flight, do the right thing. Ask for a passenger escort card from the airline ticket agent. If you can't get a passenger escort card, do the proper thing for everyone else. Say good-bye right before the person gets into the screening area. Once the person has gone beyond your sight, just go back to the car. Do not risk anything else like this stupid guy has. I hope to make you aware that airport security is very high these days and is likely to remain that way for months or years to come. Just be aware, TSA and cops are very possible to shoot first and ask questions later. Don't risk it!

**Breaking news.. Just in from the NY TIMES! http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2010/01/08/nyregion/AP-US-Newark-Airport-Evacuation.html?_r=1&hpThe man who caused the Terminal evacuation has been arrested! GREAT JOB! NOW GET HIS GIRLFRIEND TOO! ***BREAKING NEWS!

Third damn of the day: What does it take for a plane bomber to plead: "NOT GUILTY!"?
Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/08/terror.hearing/index.html
It means he's taking a gamble of his life, of which means, he rather take life in prison instead.

Seriously, USA needs to stop giving these terrorist people "certain legal rights" and put them right where they belong : Permanent Prison forever. This man knew precisely of what he was doing. He intended to die and take others with him. There's no way in heck he can get out of prison or out of a court of which he will be found guilty. So, the final damn goes to this plane bomber.

Update #3: latest news tells us it's a visiting student at a local university in the NJ area.
Link: http://www.sphere.com/article/arrest-made-in-security-breach-at-newark-airport/19309873
This was a very stupid person. If he has any sense of honor.. he'll deport himself back home asap. Lawmakers are going to raise the fines to FELONY status soon. So please, people listen to the security people. One of these days, some TSA Agent or Police Trooper just might shoot you first and then ask questions later. DON"T RISK IT! I look forward to see this guy punished!

Special needs students are killed in Ohio.

G'day everyone.

My heart goes out to the special needs students and their families in Ohio today.
Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/01/07/ohio.van.crash/index.html

When I heard about this story, I went right to the CNN page. My heart went out to their families.
I grew up with disabled students before I was put in the mainstream classes long ago.
My only hope is that the police will charge the driver of the tanker truck for excessive speeding in bad weather and involuntary manslaughter. No truck driver drives so fast in falling snow. They know better than this. But this guy? He better hope he doesn't end up in a wheelchair for life. IMHO, I think he will.

Breaking News.. Holocaust museum shooting suspect is dead.

G'day Everyone!

As I expected it to happen. God would naturally call home the life of the National Holocaust Museum shooting suspect. I did not expect that this old killer would live to see his murder trial to happen this year. As of today, the old daft man died as in the prison hospital. Link: http://www.sphere.com/nation/article/accused-holocaust-museum-shooter-james-von-brunn-dies-in-prison/19305810

James Von Brunn thinks he's going on to his "reward". But he will face God and will face his most awful judgement on himself. He's going to wish he hadn't died and faced trial on earth first. Good luck James Von Brunn. You will be *forgotten* forever.

Breaking NEWS: John Yeh is named in Washington Post Article!

G'evening Everyone!

BREAKING NEWS: I was alerted to an upcoming article that was coming fresh off the presses at the Washington Post. The article has been posted about Mr. John Yeh. Please read:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/01/05/AR2010010504023.html

There are a few important people mention in this article: Ms. Jamie Berke, Mr. Robert Mason, Mr. Matthew S. Moore (of Deaf Life), and Ms.Diane Plassey Gutierrez.

I like Matthew Moore's quote at the end of the article:
"This is definitely bad news for the deaf community, considering that several of the accused are deaf and that Viable is alleged to be the chief player in the scandal, but I prefer to reserve judgment until . . . the judicial system reaches a verdict," Moore said. "It's a terrible situation."

I have posted in the past and had encouraged fellow bloggers and vloggers that we shouldn't be posting about Mr. Yeh's terrible arrest and his situation. But it seems the Washington Post is ready to send a FIRESTORM into the deaf community where we will judge Mr. Yeh and all of his accused partners in crime long before the court has a chance to render it's legal verdict. That's not all, The Washington Post has now poisoned the minds of the potential fellow deaf jurors for the upcoming trial. Even as Mr. Yeh's lawyer, Mr. Paul Kemp, has said that the defense is still gathering information. That is to say, they are still preparing a defense in the upcoming court battle.

I wish the Washington Post staff writers,Maria Glod and Carrie Johnson along with staff researcher Meg Smith, had not done this article at all. Personally, the Washington Post should have allowed the Justice Department have their day in court first rather than making an open smear attack upon Mr. Yeh, which would allow the justice department have an advantage.

The truth must come out and Mr. Yeh and the people involved in the criminal complaint must have their day in the court of Law. But not at the Washington Post's expense of selling news stories for profit and to poison the minds of the deaf community, nor the hearing community as well.

NTID President Search Committee is formed.

G'day Everyone!

History has gotten under way at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) in Rochester, NY. RIT President Destler has announced the 16 member President Search Committee in an NTID News article.
Link: http://www.ntid.rit.edu/media/full_text.php?article_id=1110

But President Destler choose to say that Dr. Alan Hurwitz *RETIRED* at the end of 2009 rather than to say that Dr. Hurwitz left the NTID President's office to become the Gallaudet University President. That was their interesting spin on things.

Let's hope that all of these NTID President Search Committee will be honest, faithful, and willing to look at ALL CANDIDATES, not just specific ones, who are qualified for the job of the NTID President. It will be interesting to see how this process happens.

My hope is that the Gallaudet Board of Trustees are watching this unfold at NTID because we are taking notes. In 5 years, when the next GU PSAC happens maybe we'll learn right off NTID's way of doing things.

It is also my hope that NTID President Search Committee will take their responsibility seriously.
NTID's history is calling.
Are they ready?
Let's hope so.

Football Season 2010

G'day Everyone!

As the Football season of 2009 finally begins to be Football season 2010, things get interesting.
I happened to be around the area and before I knew it, I almost missed the entire PSUvs LSU battle on New Year's day. Lucky, I caught the excitement in the 4th quarter. Sadly for some LSU fans, they couldn't believe how LSU was on the bubble to win the Capital one bowl game. (uhh, make that Capital MUD BOWL game). But then penalty after penalty finally doomed LSU to it's fate after PSU kicked the leading score of 19-17. The last play of the game finally showed LSU had self destructed. Perhaps, it was a gift.
PSU football team couldn't be happier for the season. Especially for Head Coach Joe Paterno. As Darryl Clark leaves this team, he will be wishing back on his life of what he could have done differently against Iowa and Ohio. But no, he better put his head ready for NFL if he wishes to be better now. PSU will be in a rebuilding mode of 2010. Will there be a 201o/2011 bowl game? Maybe.

Bobby Bowden is gone for good. While he ends on a Gator bowl victory, his future is uncertain. But Paterno has to feel better now. His legacy is secured while Bowden is no longer in his shadow.

National Championship game: Alabama vs Texas. Will this prove to be a good match up of a game? We'll find out. I pick Texas to win over Alabama.

NFL play-offs:
Sadly to say again: The Fans in the NY Giants OLD stadium were pissed that beer wasn't served. Only soda. Well, it may have been a sane decision not to let fans drink and drive, but would every NFL stadium do a complete beer ban ? Home attendance would plummet. Then teams would be in a problem of money.
Anyhow, the future headaches will be for the Giants coming in the fall 2010. For now, the Sunday's win of the Giants over the Bengals proves to be a nice farewell to the old Giants stadium. But wait! Bengals vs Giants this past weekend proves only to be a "gimme" win. Wait till this coming Saturday when the play-off battle begins. Giants vs Bengals II will be play at the home of the Bengals. It'll be ugly and watch it on TV! My pick: Giants will trounce the Bengals. (maybe)

Another *UGLY* game to happen: If you think Dallas Cowboys are going to the play-offs, think again. The Dallas Cowboys just handed incentives to the Philly Eagles to give them every reason to play aggressive play-off football. NEVER TAUNT A FOOTBALL TEAM AT YOUR HOME GAME. Just do it in their house. But yesterday, as Dallas beat the Philly boys, they openly taunted the Eagles. Guess what? Never taunt a possible same team that could be your next team to face in the play-offs. Well, it came clear and yes it will be a Dallas vs. Philly II game. Only one problem. The NFL should demand that it play in Philly because the final home game of the regular season was held in Dallas. Never the less, it will give the Eagles an incentive to beat Dallas at home and Dallas will be wishing they hadn't taunted the Eagles. Eagles vs Cowboys II: the ugly revenge game in Dallas. My pick: Philly Eagles to win!

New England Patriots lost their player in a very ugly play. That hurts and shows us the risk of playing the football game. Does this weaken the Pats for the Ravens? Let's say that this will be New England's moment to over come the loss of the player and rise up to beat the Ravens. My Pick: (I hate to do this) New England Pats.

Pittsburgh Steelers Fans! For about 3 hours we were in the play-offs. Pittsburgh finished off Miami. That just may have been nice football karma. But then the damn Baltimore Ravens had nothing better to do than to beat Oakland Raiders. They have just doomed themselves to a play-off destruction. Ravens won't survive the play-offs or will they? Ravens better watch out for the Pats. Better yet, pack your snow gear Ravens! You may very well need it!

Meanwhile: If the wild card play-offs were not so bad enough, here comes the Arizona Cardinals. Those pesky birds in red are a major headaches. However, they may run into trouble this time. Cheese trouble that is! The Cardinals must play against the Green Bay Packers. The Cheese head fans will be out in CHEESE FORCE for this game. Sadly, the game should be played in Wisconsin where Packers thrive in the snow. The Red Birds should be thinking that their warm air will help them. Oh football karma forbid! My pick: Green Bay to win. The birds will be stuck in cheese sauce for a while.

Buffalo Bills had a football game with nothing to play for. Yet, it was a nice scrimmage in the snow bowl game against the Colts that gave the Buffalo Bills a nice sense to close their dismal season with a win. Look for the Buffalo Bills to rebuild this year.

So sit back in your chair and get ready this weekend. That pigskin is going to fly, bodies are going to crash, and somebody's going to get hurt (hopefully not serious). Football season is just getting interesting at last.

Poll results

G'day Everyone.

I'm happy I'm sitting back at my chair and happy that the holidays are over. 2010 has started and the world gets back to it's duties of the normal work week.

Tomorrow, January 4th, 2010 is the official first day for Dr. Alan Hurwitz to begin his duties as President of Gallaudet University.

But let's look at the poll results that I posted last month.

Question #1: Was the GU Presidential Selection Fair?

Answers by the respondents:

YES : 82 votes or 68%
NO : 19 votes or 15%
MAYBE : 14 votes or 11%
I'd like a re-vote!: 4 votes or 3%
Total voted: 119 people

In other words, the alumni and students are actually *TRUSTING* that the Gallaudet University Board of Trustees voted in the recommendation based on the Presidential Search Advisory Committee. Remember, these people went after Hurwitz and wore him down to become our GU President. Were the other 3 candidates window dressings? Let's hope not.

Question #2: Where should Hurwitz put his focus on the most?

The reason why I asked this question was because Hurwitz said that he was going to do a dual job of running the office of GU President in Washington, DC and taking care of on-going NTID projects in the Rochester, NY area. This was based on the newspaper article about Hurwitz wanting to stay in Rochester, NY area.

But Hurwitz ought to be warned clearly. The office of the President should not be toyed with at all. The GU campus needs a full time President on it's grounds. If Hurwitz isn't going to be that, then he should not have accepted the job in the first place.

Look at how the respondents reacted to Question #2:

Hurwitz should:
Focus on Gallaudet : 78 votes or 69%
Rochester area (NTID) : 9 votes or 8%
He can do both! : 17 votes or 15%
Neither and should resign : 8 votes or 7%
total voted: 112

So it's clear. Hurwitz should put his focus on the institution of Gallaudet University. What if he doesn't do that? Let's not go there... yet. Hurwitz is being given his chance. If the BoTs of GU thinks this man, hurwitz, can do this job, then they better hope they have done their homework properly.

It's a new decade and new chapter for GU now. Let's hope this all fits well.

Good luck, Dr. Hurwitz. Lord knows, you are going to need it very much.
