Mandatory tipping: Right to bad service?

G'day Everyone.

When a restaurant posts mandatory tipping for large parties, it certainly doesn't mean a right to bad service. Today's article link shows the fall out of one couple who refused to pay the mandatory tip at a local Allentown area pub: http://www.dailyfinance.com/2009/11/20/couple-arrested-after-refusing-to-pay-tip-at-pennsylvania-pub/?icid=mainaimdl1link5http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyfinance.com%2F2009%2F11%2F20%2Fcouple-arrested-after-refusing-to-pay-tip-at-pennsylvania-pub%2F

Pubs and restaurants are now in an economic challenge for survival. Servers are a important part of customer services out there. Wait staff that do bad work, as well as cooking staff, should expect no tip at all. The worst thing that can happen for a restaurant is a fast acting diner that take a cell phone and social network out the news fast about their experience in a restaurants /pubs. Once that gets out immediately, the restaurants / pubs don't have a choice but to learn their lessons and consider what to do about their staff which includes possible turnovers.

Right now, this case will wind up in the local courts of Allentown. But I should hope that the restaurant will their charges because bad services doesn't earn Mandatory tipping money. For that pub, it will take a long while to rebuild their customer base from this scandal. Especially since the holiday season is just starting.

2012; Movie Review..

G'day Everyone.

Let's see of what I saw of disaster movies in my life. The Towering Inferno.. check (wish I brought marshmellows to toast). The Great Quake of LA (aka Earth Shock)...check. Airplane disasters.. check. Ocean Liners disasters (aka Titanic and posiden adventure)... Check. Tornado disasters.. check. Outbreak of various diseases.. check. Disasters caused by the moon.. check. Weather disasters (aka The Day after Tomorrow)....check. Nuclear war disaster movies.... check. Nuclear bus disasters.. check. Nuclear plant disasters.. (checking to make sure 3 mile island is still safe in Harrisburg, PA).. check.

*sigh*. Just when you thought it was safe enough to go back to the movies and not see another disaster flick happen.. YOU THOUGHT WRONG!

2012 is not only a disaster movie flick, but it's a movie that has a LOT OF ACTION in it! 2012, the end for world day in which the earth goes nuts as it breaks apart, floods, and the land mass pull back together in big mess that throws it right back into the age of darwin, but humanity must find a way to survive and they do! All of the important people and lesser important people race for the ark. It was kind of interesting and sad. Watching how DC gets destroyed (not to mention Gallaudet) and then being flooded.. WOW! Lots of people die! Interesting to say, the person who was playing the president was actually a man who almost acts and looks like Obama. I was going "Whoa.. too freaky here". Lots of good actors in this movie.

So here's my recommendation: See the 2012 movie first without open captions. You don't want to miss all the actions going on. The actors are easy to lip read and when they speak in another language, yes, there are some subtitles in English in the movie. You'll be rocked to watch this movie. Then watch it in open captions.

What I did think of 2012? For a moment, I thought it was not just the end of the world but almost thinking that God was going to hit the world with 21 judgements at once. However, it does make it clear the world would suffer a massive earth quake and this appears to be this great big one! And oh by the way.. California does slide into the ocean. You'll love the massive SURF's UP in this movie! (oh you poor surfers, you'll wish you'd want to grab your surf boards for this!!).

2012, Would it happen? Ahh, life insurance policy.. check..

Till next time... check...

Semper FI and enjoy the weekend? double check!

Caption Action 2: Members needed!

G'day Everyone!

I was surfing around today and found the previous site of which I'm a member of. It's the Caption Action 2. http://apps.facebook.com/causes/306249It's more of a cause on Facebook, but it's an important cause among the Deaf Community. (blogspot site: http://captionaction2.blogspot.com/)
WHY?

In the early 1980's, when captioning started on TV, we all cheered that we could hear the words that were on the programs. Then Caption Action 1 began to promote the need to have home video to be closed captioned. That movement was successful long ago. Today that movement continues as video continues to change from tapes to DVDs and blue-ray cds happen.

But now, television is starting to move to the Internet. Why do you think several months ago that television ended the analog age and switched to the new digital age? In some places, it's also high Def-TV as well. At this point, cable companies are beginning to test several channels on Internet. Do these channels have Closed Captioning? In some cases, no.

I asked several friends of how they feel of having television being on the Internet? Some have said it's a weird experience. Others say that you have to either buy a new flat screen TV or attempt to modify your old ray tube TV. But some feel that the age of the television should stay on the TV set and not on the Internet.

But progress is progress. If cable companies get their way of shifting TV signals to the Internet and the lack of closed captioning happens, the deaf community would be at a disadvantage again.
To this moment, we need more members of congress to sponsor the H.R. 3101: Twenty-first Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2009!

We realize that congress faces many major issues in this time of the congressional year. But in order to make it a reality of law through the Obama administration, we need you to convince more congressional people to support this issue. We need more people to join this important cause on facebook! We need more important people to talk about it, blog about it, and share about it!

Today I done my part. I posted about it. I joined the cause. Most of all, I'm going to ask my state and local Representatives to support caption action 2.

You, my dear reader, I ask you to consider to join this cause. Let your voice be heard. Let there be Caption Action 2: Captions on the Internet to happen!

HOW NOT TO FRY A TURKEY!

G'day Everyone!

It's coming. One week to Turkey day. But that's one week to DISASTER DAY which follows with renovation of the house/kitchen months. Why do I say that? It's obviously clear that a lot of disaster is related to the frying of the turkey!

Here's the link to the video. There's no captions, but it's enough to say of what can happen if you do EVERY WRONG about frying a turkey!

http://news.holidash.com/2009/10/27/thanksgiving-dinner-how-not-to-fry-a-turkey/?icid=mainaimdl6link3http%3A%2F%2Fnews.holidash.com%2F2009%2F10%2F27%2Fthanksgiving-dinner-how-not-to-fry-a-turkey%2F

If you look at that, it makes you wonder of just how much you want the pyrotechnics to happen? AHH, not me! So please.. if you are going to fry a turkey, Even a damn BIG turkey (super turkey, in my opinion), just be damn careful. If you are damn careful and cautious, you will be rewarded with a nice yummy FRIED turkey!

Me, One day I plan to oven roast my turkey and then finish it on the grill, smoked!

So with one week to go for Thanksgiving, be prepared for anything!

ALERT ALERT: HOTTLE LEAVES GU FOOTBALL!

G'day Everyone!

An alert came in this morning through a source said that GU Football Head Coach Edward Hottle has resigned from the Bisons and has taken a position with Stevenson University. It was confirmed when a newspaper in Baltimore published the following article today.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/college/football/bal-sp.stevenson18nov18,0,1410015.story

As Edward Hottle leaves, it is time that we bring back the drum and resume the Gallaudet Football traditions. We need a Deaf Football coach. Better things are now in store for the Bisons' future!

Unfriend-- the awful truth.

G'day Everyone.

Go to this link first: http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/11/17/unfriend.word/index.html

Earlier this year, there was a tic-tac candy advertisement that spoofed the on-line "friend requests" of Facebook.com of which he would dole out candy by those he'd accept and Deny those who he didn't like or didn't know. It looked to be a very humorous ad on TV at it's best for the candy maker and Facebook.

But now the Oxford Dictionary made it clear this year that "unfriend" (or what I like to say "Defriend") is a word that is very simple: To terminate contact of a friend on a social network site.

But in real life, unfriend as well as defriend is also known as a person who is NOT your friend any more. It's an ugly word. I've had people walk in and out of my life these days. But when you hear about something seriously happen to someone who defriended you long ago, it's like the loss of the friendship being reopened and feeling seriously wounded. I wish people would not defriend me for any reason in real life. Some times, it's best to say "come down to me and let's talk this out. Maybe we can work it out". I keep a list of people who defriended me in life and put them up as a prayer request to petition God to keep them safe in life.

I hope you won't experience defriend or unfriend in life or on the social network sites. Just hope we get more "Friend Requests" in real life or on-line.

For now.. Semper FI.

Prayer for a friend, Reminding tip.

G'day Everyone.

Presently, I'm still very much concerned for a former friend of mine who was hit with a stroke last week. I haven't heard anything about him lately. As a result, I'm asking many prayer warriors out there to please make an unspoken prayer request for my friend. Many thanks.

Meanwhile, another friend of mine and I are at odds with each other because of the dates that I was suppose to be helping him. It was said that he and his g/f told me so many times in IMs. But how could I miss it when I got other things going on in my life?

Well, I decided that a little reminding tip ought to be shared of what I do with people. Whenever I talk to someone about dates and stuff, I promptly follow up in email to people. It ensures that the dates and times get firmed and things don't get messed up.

So my friend is a little mad that I didn't pick up on the changes of his schedule. But he's a little angry more that I decided to drop my plans to go help him. That's because I wasn't really aware of his schedule change and my plans couldn't change.

Best idea when you talk to some one on the IM about trip plans? Follow up in email. Make sure the dates are clear. Do it at least 2 weeks in advance of important stuff. It helps to sure that everyone is on the same page.

Not everyone can remember things via the IMs when everyone is busy in this life. I hope my suggestions help a few people.

Refusal to post banner ads.

G'day Everyone.

Recently, I was asked in an Instant Message if I would be interested to make extra money off my blog by inserting banner ads. Unfortunately, I let loose on the poor person with series of choice words and some very ugly words.

You see, his timing to IM me could not have been worse because I read on another web page of how one man borrowed a lap top, clicked on a banner ad and thinking it wasn't anything. Turns out that this "banner" had a little program attached to it and nearly cleaned out this guy's money.

So I told this SOB to do himself a favor: GO jump in a bonfire! I've already decided that there will be NO banner ads on this web page. Even if blogspot and google say they got "trusted" ads to click on for blog readers, I am not adding any banner ads.

Be warned. Any banner ads you click on in the Internet area does carry risk. You don't know if the banner ad has been already hi-jacked by a hacker and reprogrammed with a nasty virus. So be careful.

Stroke Strikes a former friend.

G'day Everyone.

They say it shouldn't happen to anyone. Not long after I posted recently this morning, I got
into my email and my facebook. I just found out that a former friend of mine suffered a MILD stroke last Thursday, November 12th, 2009. I don't know all the details of what's happened yet. But I do know that my former friend is in the hospital and is recovering.

So, let me say this. Almost anyone can suffer a brain stroke at ANY TIME.

What's a brain stroke, you ask? Read this from the Stroke association. org and American Heart Association:
http://www.strokeassociation.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=3030066
http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4742

With that being said, I have a little card that is posted on my refrigerator door that was given to me by the Susquehanna Health's Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center.
It's called:

How to Identify a Possible Stroke
Act F.A.S.T.
(This is a little home test to see if a person is having a stroke.)
FACE
  • Ask the person to smile.
  • Does one side of the face droops? (like a half smile which shows loss of muscle control)

ARMS

  • Ask the person to raise both arms.
  • Does one arm drift downward?

SPEECH

  • Ask the person to repeat a simple sentence.
  • Are the words slurred.
  • Can he/she repeat the sentence correctly?
  • for the deaf community, ask the person to sign and voice at the same time. even if in ASL. Ask repeat it clearly if possible.

Time

  • If the person show any of the above symptoms time is important!
  • CALL 911 or get to the hospital fast. Brain cells are dying.

So please, in your home you should keep the list of all your medications, names of your doctor, emergency contact persons, and your home address near to your phone, TTY phone, and VP phone. Remember, any call to 911 should be treated as real emergency and getting help real fast.

I am praying for my former friend and sending good wishes out there. I hope that he recovers well.

The weekend, Davila's last days

G'day Everyone.

As the weekend comes to an end, so what may be the last Indian Summer days. Winter weather is about to hit soon enough.

Yesterday, Penn State over came Indiana and won in their last home game. That was a great game, but not everyone got a chance to watch it because it was shown only on the Big Ten Network. Next up, heading to Michigan State and then may be bowl games. We shall see if PSU has a post season soon.

Speaking of the last days, Out-going Gallaudet University President Davila is about to be given some well deserved send off back to his retirement days. For events of the celebration for GU President Davila, Link: http://president.gallaudet.edu/honoringdavila.xml
Please note: some tickets may require advanced reservations. They will not be sold at the door! Please check the GU website carefully!
Hopefully, Davila's last month in office will pass without any serious problems and that the transition to In-coming GU President Hurwitz will be successful. President Hurwitz has a lot on his plate when he must be able to transform Gallaudet more and be able to attract and retain students in the coming years.

Veterans Day 2009, Death of DC Sniper.

G'day Everyone.

Today is Veterans Day 2009. A day in which we honor our nation's military personnel that have served our country in life and in death. Many have died defending our country so that we may remain free. So if you see a military personnel in uniform today, make sure you tell them this: Thank You for serving our country with honor!

Last night, John Allen Muhammad's life came to an end. As I watched CNN, it seems Muhammad's life finally became an infamous note he wanted. http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/11/virginia.sniper.execution/index.html
When they said he died at 9:11pm, it seemed like a reminder to all of us of how much terror this man and his sidekick, Lee Boyd Malvo, created when our nation had just suffered the 9/11 terror attacks. Their terror in 2002 gripped our nation pretty much hard.
I would believe that Lee Malvo would be told in his cell that his "mentor" is dead. But for many of the victims that Malvo and Muhammad killed, some will find closure, others will find some bitterness.
I, for one, wish the State of Virginia had opted to SHOOT Muhammad to death rather than lethal injection. Muhammad would have gotten to feel what it's like to die by the bullet rather than being injected to death. Since he was given a compassionate death for his punishment here on earth, one of where he has repetitively said "I'm INNOCENT", we can take solace of Muhammad's death and confidence in God that God already knows the truth about Muhammad's life and that God will render justice and punishment upon Muhammad.
With this chapter of terror over in this nation, perhaps Malvo can now move on with his life and come to terms that he will remain in prison till he dies. Perhaps some day, when the laws change and may be Malvo will be free then.

Today's 500th post of my blog is in honor of all of our Nation's veterans. Salute the living and the dead. They defend our nation always. Today's 500th post is also a request for prayers for the victims and the families that are affected by the DC Sniper killings.

Tips from a burglar!

G'day Everyone.
1 more posts to go to the 500th post. But today, my sister sent me an e-mail which I need to share with you. It's tips from a convicted burglar. You know, with the holiday season coming upon us, burglars are going to be more active than ever. So here's the warnings: ( my notes are in italics)
___________________________________________________

GREAT INFO FOR THE CARELESS PEOPLE WHO KEEPS THINKING,
"THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME"!!!
(anything can happen to you at ANY TIME! Be ready)

THINGS YOUR BURGLAR WON'T TELL YOU:
(Aka: confessions of a convicted burglar)

1. Of course I look familiar. I was here just last week cleaning your
carpets, painting your shutters, or delivering your new refrigerator.

2. Hey, thanks for letting me use the bathroom when I was working in your yard last week.. While I was in there, I unlatched the back window to make my return a little easier.
(Any time you let someone in the house, do a walk through and check all doors and windows when they leave!)

3. Love those flowers. That tells me you have taste ... and taste means there are nice things inside. Those yard toys your kids leave out always make me wonder what type of gaming system they have.
(buy the cheap plants. Don't get expensive ones!)

4.. Yes, I really do look for newspapers piled up on the driveway. And I might leave a pizza flyer in your front door to see how long it takes you to remove it.
(if you are away, have a neighbor remove the newspapers and any other "notices" asap! Also have your mail HELD at the POST OFFICE!!)

5.. If it snows while you're out of town, get a neighbor to create car and foot tracks into the house. Virgin drifts in the driveway are a dead giveaway.
(plow the drive way and check on the security of the house! consider investing in an alarm system.)

6. If decorative glass is part of your front entrance, don't let your alarm company install the control pad where I can see if it's set. That makes it too easy.
(Tip: install the alarm system away from any viewable window area!.)

7. A good security company alarms the window over the sink. And the windows on the second floor, which often access the master bedroom-and your jewelry. It's not a bad idea to put motion detectors up there too.
(a good security company will arm every window possible!)

8. It's raining, you're fumbling with your umbrella, and you forget to lock your door-understandable. But understand this: I don't take a day off because of bad weather.
(invest in automatic locking door systems! Alarm systems too!)

9. I always knock first. If you answer, I'll ask for directions somewhere or offer to clean your gutters. (Don't take me up on it.)
(I've had several strange people come over to my home at many times. I've always asked for their IDs. That's there's first and last challenges. They make an excuse to go else where. I do get their license plates and descriptions. Reporting it to the police is being proactive in neighborhood security.)

10. Do you really think I won't look in your sock drawer? I always check dresser drawers, the bedside table, and the medicine cabinet.
(ergo, that's why my top dresser drawer is my laundry drawer. ever stuff it full of funky clothes including soiled shorts? Almost anyone passes out from the smell of it! The bedside table, mouse traps when I go away.)

11. Here's a helpful hint: I almost never go into kids' rooms.
(lies, burglars always go through every room in the house and looking for things to steal!)

12. You're right: I won't have enough time to break into that safe where you keep your valuables. But if it's not bolted down, I'll take it with me.
(keep that safe hidden as possible!)

13. A loud TV or radio can be a better deterrent than the best alarm system. If you're reluctant to leave your TV on while you're out of town, you can buy a $35 device that works on a timer and simulates the flickering glow of a real television. (Find it at faketv.com.)

8 MORE THINGS A BURGLAR WON'T TELL YOU:

1. Sometimes, I carry a clipboard. Sometimes, I dress like a lawn guy and carry a rake. I do my best to never, ever look like a crook.
(again, ask for ID, copy it down, call the company, and call the police.)

2. The two things I hate most: loud dogs and nosy neighbors.
(gotta love my neighbors! )

3. I'll break a window to get in, even if it makes a little noise. If your neighbor hears one loud sound, he'll stop what he's doing and wait to hear it again. If he doesn't hear it again, he'll just go back to what he was doing. It's human nature.
(see number 2, a neighbor that is alerted to a loud noise from next door will go over and check on you and your property to make sure you are all right! Neighbor safety is priority one!)

4. I'm not complaining, but why would you pay all that money for a fancy alarm system and leave your house without setting it?
(make use of that alarm system! It could save your life and your property one day!! It's the best investment!)

5. I love looking in your windows. I'm looking for signs that you're home, and for flat screen TVs or gaming systems I'd like. I'll drive or walk through your neighborhood at night, before you close the blinds, just to pick my targets.
(If you find someone peeking into someone's home, call the police. Better safe
than sorry!! Your neighbors will be glad you did that.)

6. Avoid announcing your vacation on your Facebook page. It's easier than you think to look up your address.
(alert: this applies to ANY social network site! Do not tell people where you are at times! Some people do take over and pretend to be your friend when they are a crook using your friend's name! Be cautious!! Yes, it's very easy to look up someone's home address on the 'net!)

7. To you, leaving that window open just a crack during the day is a way to let in a little fresh air. To me, it's an invitation.
(don't ever leave any window open in the house at all! Invest in an A/C system if you can do so).

8. If you don't answer when I knock, I try the door. Occasionally, I hit the jackpot and walk right in.
(Remember, buy an automatic locking door lock. Better safe than sorry.)

Sources: Convicted burglars in North Carolina , Oregon , California , and
Kentucky ; security consultant Chris McGoey, who runs crimedoctor.com;
and Richard T. Wright, a criminology professor at the University of
Missouri-St. Louis, who interviewed 105 burglars for his book Burglars on
the Job.
______________________________________________________

To sum it all up, Let me say it clearly:

1. Don't announce on any social network sites that you are out of your homes. Even in the blogspheres and vlogspheres too. Burglars are tech savvy enough to break passwords and pretend to be your "friend" in order to target your homes on the social networks. Same applies to blogs and vlogs as well! Be extra careful.

2. If you have a death in the family or a wedding announcement, that's when burglars will strike the most! They know when a house is empty and they'll rob it as much as they can get away with it. Either invest in an alarm system or find someone to HOUSE SIT for you.

3. Invest in an alarm system. It's one of the best security systems you can buy. But do research on it before you allow a company to install it. Make sure the company is bondable!!

4. If your neighborhood doesn't have a neighborhood watch program, talk to your township to establish one. Get your neighbors to work together. A neighborhood that helps each other is a place where a burglar is going to get highly caught.

So, please.. exercise some diligent home security every day. Especially during the holiday season!

Thanks for the tips, Linda! *salute!*

The Fall of the Wall.

G'day Everyone!

It was 20 years ago. Germany was split in 2 by a wall as punishment for the World Wars. Then came it's infamous fall in November 1989. The wall came down and Germany became reunited as ONE COUNTRY. 20 years later, we remember Germany and it's rough life that people had. Even for many of the people that tried to escape to freedom across the wall, only to die on the freedom side by the sadistic guards that shot them from the wall. It's 20 years later and we still have a wonderful country that is still learning to come to grips with it's liberation. The fall of the wall is the symbol of FREEDOM and democratic Germany.
look at the pictures:http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2009/autumn.of.change/berlin.wall/

But do non-physical walls happen in life? Yes. We encounter them every day in our lives. They are the stubborn people that refuse to budge for others. It takes work to get these people to change their mind in which would be the fall of this "wall". It doesn't happen at once. But it takes time, patience, and prayer. So I say unto you stubborn people: "Tear down your wall and let us be liberated to work together!"

Bison win, PSU lost, and Health care rammed!

G'day Everyone.

The weekend can some times be cruel and unhappy punishment upon us. How can that be?
Let's start with:
http://www.gallaudetathletics.com/sports/fball/2009-10/releases/recap_maritime

The SUNY Maritime team expected to BEAT the Bisons this year. Unfortunately, their dreams came to a rude end when the Bisons kicked a Field Goal that made a come back win in the final moments! Bisons 16 - SUNY maritime 13.

But wait! There's hope that Bisons will suit up one more game. We'll find out soon enough.

Meanwhile, Ohio State Buckeyes rammed through PSU yesterday. It wasn't a good day. Nor were refs that good either. No matter how you look at it, security had to be heavy in Happy Valley as the Buckeyes were escorted off the Beaver Stadium property and on to the interstate roads (as told to me by a source). Nobody was happy that OSU came through PSU. But PSU will prolly bounce back and run through another hapless team this coming Saturday. The day wasn't a total loss as the Iowa Hawkeyes took an important loss yesterday! That one made a lot of PSU fans happy because they've been chanting ever since for the hawkeyes to lose. Finally they have. *whew!* Be happy with your loss Iowa! You deserve it.

Right now, many people are jumping and yapping this morning. In the near dead night of Saturday, the democrats rammed the Health Care Bill through the House yesterday. It's still filled with flaws.
http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/11/08/health.care/index.html
Even if the Democrats win this, they could eventually lose their seats in the next election in the coming years. The big question is, why do this on a weekend when nobody's watching them? They will pay the price for this. The tide is already turning against the democrats and no amount of apology to the voters will keep them in the office. Wait till Monday morning. It will get very ugly!

On that note, enjoy your week.
In a few days the 500th post is coming!

Sad day.

G'day Everyone.

The Yankees World Series parade ought to be cancelled so that our nation can focus their thoughts and prayers for the men and women at Fort Hood, Texas. http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/06/texas.fort.hood.shootings/index.html
Though the shootings are awful to hear, I was relieved to hear that a friend of mine, who works on a military base, is ok.
Today's Yankees parade shouldn't happen. But it should be moved to Sunday so that our nation can gather in the churches and pray for Fort Hood, Texas. One thing is for sure. The suspect that got caught will most certainly die by Military Justice later!

Fort Hood people, you are all in my thoughts and prayers for your recovery and for the families mourning the dead.

Yankees WIN again! MLB's new headache.

G'day Everyone!

A hearty congratulations to the NY Yankees that WON the world series last night by a score of 7-3 over Philadelphia Phillies. It was said that Yankees proved critics wrong about them. Unfortunately, it just opened up a NEW FIRESTORM upon them. Just how many World Series wins is TOO MANY? For Major League Baseball (MLB), they come under a new complaint for allowing this World Series to happen. For that short time, there was a shot that Phillies would win back-to-back World Series win. It just didn't happen.

As people wake up from last night's party and see all the damages, reality sets in. Most will be saying "It shouldn't be happening like this". Perhaps MLB needs to sit down and discuss the future of the changes of baseball play-off rules. A power house team like Yankees has won too many World Series titles. Many other teams are so angry now, that something has to be done before someone gets hurt out there. Maybe this winter, MLB will draft a special clause in baseball rules that if Yankees were to win again of another play-off spot, it should go to their rival team that they played. Perhaps, Yankees need to be gutted of all their best players and put in weak players for 10 years so that other teams have a chance to win for the world series. Last year's World Series was BETTER than this year.

Just the same, the Philadelphia Phillies are under a firestorm too. Who's the prime center of it all? Pedro "Daddy" Martinez. Last night, Pedro Martinez looked like he wasn't even trying to strike out the Yankees. Some of his pitches look so easy to hit, it makes you wonder just what Pedro was doing. Perhaps, the Phillies should have started him last Monday night instead of Cliff Lee and Cliff Lee would have been masterful against Yankees last night. Sadly to say, the Phillies should look at Pedro Martinez's actions extra carefully. The best suggestion would be to release him with a HIGH PRICE TAG. If the Yankees want him that badly, they'll take him. But, if Pedro's throwing to Yankees were a "gift" and they don't take him, he'll be wishing at his mother's home that he had struck out more Yankees. I hope the Phillies do release Pedro Martinez. It would be in their BEST INTEREST.

As all the baseball teams go into off season winter mode, Basketball and Hockey are just starting. In Football: NFL teams are gearing up to finish the season into the play-offs soon. Colleges are getting set for the final games that will possible lead to bowl games or sitting by the tube for the season. But of course, some day there will be college football play off games some day.

So party on, Yankees. But just remember, it could be your LAST party for many years to come again. Hopefully, fate will not lead you to another world series (and hopefully it will prevent you for 10 years), but other teams do deserve a chance to experience world series too. God forbid if you Yankees go for a back-to-back title.

EXECUTE THE SON OF A BITCH!

BREAKING NEWS!! John Allen Muhammad is dead!! Thanks to Gov. Tim Kaine that did not listen to the clemency appeal! Finally, the DC Sniper has died. I'm very sure Lee Boyd Malvo has been told already. He is doing to be doing life in prison for a long time. God will finally judge Muhammad!

G'day Everyone!

Normally, I'd oppose the death penalty on the basis that it might be flawed as Project Innocence has found lately. But, read this:
http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/03/beltway.sniper.appeal/index.html

When you read about the beltway sniper that has murdered so many people along with his 'sidekick', it can make you very angry. It seems Muhammad has brilliantly planned out all of his legal defenses and he's not mentally disabled as his lawyers paint him to be.
So what do I say? To Virginia Gov. Timothy Kaine, I say unto you, do all of John Muhammad's victims a favor in your out-going days of Governorship. Deny Muhammad's clemency request and send this SON-of-a-BITCH on to God's HIGHER COURT where John Muhammad can face ETERNAL JUDGEMENT on November 10th!

This man and his 'partner'/'son' Lee Boyd Malvo terrorized our nation and should die for their crimes. Except Lee Malvo isn't facing execution. He got lucky that his lawyer convinced him to testify against Muhammad and got life in prison. Lee Malvo is going to wish the needle was going into his arms as well when Muhammad is executed. But Malvo will be in another prison when Muhammad is dead.

May justice be done on November 10th! Send Muhammad to God for the better judgement!

Update: http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/09/scotus.sniper/index.html

The Surpreme Court has ruled that they will not stop the execution of Muhammad! Even Gov. Tim Kaine isn't going to grant clemency either.

The only fact is, John Allen Muhammad will die by lethal Injection. Seriously folks, he needs to die by a rifle squad of troopers that equal to the number of victims that Muhammad killed. Once he gets shot to death, he will feel the same amount of pain that he gave out to his victims. Death by Lethal Injection will only seem to be a "mercy compassion of death" to him. But no matter what, I would want to be a fly on the wall to watch this SOB take his "green mile" walk, strapped down, and then needles in! The moment he draws his final breath, will be that moment he's transferred in death to God's court. Let's hope Muhammad spends his final night in preparation for departure! True justice is at hand for him!

post halloween roundup

G'day everyone!

I've discovered what happened to my blog while I was gone. Somebody raided it. I'm not going to remove the post but, I'm going to "hang it" on my wall to remind me just how strict I must be and I changed my password. Oh, before I forget, hey moron (the one that wrote a comment to me previously), you got in lucky. You WON'T be lucky next time. It'll stay for now.

But, I reported the violation and the IP address. Unfortunately, I won't be able to share the outcome because I will intend to prosecute the person for his pranking on my blog. Hopefully, it will be a successful one.

As I come back to my blog, I have had a successful weekend with someone I love. But looking at the Football world, Gallaudet University Bisons won their game at Anna Maria. Bisons 56 - Anna Maria 7. Unfortunately, Bisons won't have a conference championship. Their enemies will. So, the Bisons will focus their FULL anger at the SUNY Maritime game on November 6th, a friday game.

The Halloween game for the GU Bisons wasn't the ONLY nightmare to happen out there. Penn State University traveled to NorthWestern University this weekend. The PSU vs N'western looked to become another Halloween horror night out there. But the Nittany Lions found COURAGE and faced their fear and DROVE home the power of the CLAW into the heart of NorthWestern. PSU did a great comeback job and Won 34-13 over N'western.

Alas, the biggest nightmare came when the Phillies LOST to Yankees on Halloween night. That was something of a big bad yankee story that will be told for ages to come to the young philly fan kids.

While I went shopping that Saturday with my beloved boyfriend, I noticed the retailers were not waiting for the Halloween day to be over. Nearly every store was taking away their fall items and stocking up on CHRISTMAS stuff! I was amazed that they have this blatant arrogance to do this in the face of Economic recession. We even haven't gotten past THANKSGIVING YET! I'm so not ready to face Christmas.

Sunday, when I came home, it was a day that will be remembered. The NY Giants and Jets cackled they'd win their games. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bad idea to laugh at fate. The Miami Dolphins smacked the NY Jets down with their tails. Dolphins 30- Jets 25. But it was the NY Giants that were roaring the loudest. They said "Yankees are helping us! We're going to SMASH those pesky Eagles so they can't fly again!". Bad choice of words to say before you walk into Eagles Stadium. Eagles were already angry of hearing their beloved Phillies being beat by the NY Yankees on the night before. With sharp talons, the Eagles scratched up the Giants so bad (40-17), they took the NFC East lead from them! Pittsburgh Steelers were smashing stuff in their club house because the bye week came at the wrong time! They wanted to be out there to encourage the Phillies by winning a game.

But sadly, winning over two NY football teams were NOT ENOUGH to inspire the Phillies to win the World Series game last night. The Phillies battled bravely, but couldn't finish it. 7-4 as the Yankees took a 3-1 World Series lead. Tonight, it could be all over. If the Yankees win tonight, the Phillies will be plotting revenge in the coming baseball season. If the Phillies win tonight, there may be hope that a come back to win the next 3 games will happen. Chances are, Yankees are either going to want to finish it in Philadelphia or let philly win so they can enjoy a home game winning on their own field in NYC. See what happens tonight. Go Phillies.

By the way: if you are Wisconsin Green Bay Packer Fan, you are prolly wondering what hit you on Monday morning? Yes, that was Brett Farve at the Quarterback position on the Minnesota Vikings team. I personally don't like Brett Farve any more. It was a shame that he went and destroyed his former team that Sunday. So if Brett Farve retires again, I hope his agent puts in a clause of his retirement contract that he *MUST STAY* permanently retired! For now, just hope Brett Farve doesn't get hurt to bad in the football game.

As it's November, it's cold month time. Lots of things to do and see. So Happy Harvest month. Also, be ready for elections tomorrow. It will set the tone for 2010. Who wins and who loses? We'll soon see. For Governor Ed Rendell.. consider this election your *WARNING* that the State of PA Budget mess was indeed *YOUR FAULT* for it!
