WE HOLD THE RIGHT TO IGNORE

G'day Everyone.

We have a right to be friends with someone in this life. But what if that person pisses you off or makes you feel uncomfortable, whatever that be real life or in the cyberspace for whatever reason it is? Then WE HOLD THE RIGHT TO IGNORE that person as long as we need to.

But does that give the other person the right to make a fuss, fly some made up charges against the person that ignores him, and say "my comments are not being approved because I'm being ignored"? Unfortunately, no. What that person has done just pulled himself into making an attack which is clearly a "payback" for being ignored. In the process it damages his ability to be an effective blogger in the deaf blogsphere. In real life, it lessens the chances of forgiveness from the person who ignores him and his ability to be friends with others.

Some people hate to be ignored by others and that's whatever if it's in real life, IMs, chats, and the comment posts. I don't mind if people ignore me. That's their choice and I have my choice too.

Once in a while, when I reject some one's comments for whatever reason that I have to use, I get hit with an email from that person that screams "DON'T YOU DARE *FUCKING IGNORE* MY COMMENTS! POST THEM! YOU DON'T FUCKING KNOW WHO YOU ARE MESSING WITH!". I have to smile a wane smile. There's a nice little keyboard button on my computer. I call my "delete" button my "trash the messager button". All I have to do is *PRESS* and instantly, it's gone. Once I do that, I know a few days later I usually get another message that says "POST MY COMMENTS OR ELSE!!". I usually mutter as I hit my favorite button again "Bring it on!". Usually, the person gives up after that.

We blog and vlog owners have a right to ignore people if they try to force us to post unacceptable comments. For a person being ignored by others in life? He/She should simply move on to the next friend they have before they get into serious trouble in this life.
