G'day Folks!
It what is going to be a far reaching effect on the Baptist church groups in this nation, I'm sure everyone is going to be in their church pews and praying about the one church in Kansas.
Here's the article:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/law/10/31/funeral.protests.ap/index.html
Now, not every Baptist church will come out and go against funerals and gay people.
But protest against a U.S. Military person who died in the war and say "HE'S A GAY MAN THAT SERVED IN US. GOVERNMENT WAR" ?? *sigh* NOT EVERY U. S. Military personnel is gay !! Whatever wacko theology that comes out from that Baptist church, they are in SO MUCH TROUBLE!!
Now that this church has to pay millions. Will their people "give" or will they flee the ministry? If I was in that church, I'd flee it NOW!
I hope every baptist church ministry in this Nation pays attention. If other Baptist ministries follow the same path as this church did, they will be taken down and disbanded. It's the age of things to happen.
Thank you Military personnel for serving this country. Gay or not.. you are our Nation's protectors!

Absolute Anger Against Every High Court! (AAAEHC)
G'day Everyone!
Today, every victim of a crime is watching EVERY HIGH COURT in the nation. Including the Supreme Court!
I have had some emails from foes of the Death Penalty people that are planning a party when the last state in the USA puts a final "FREEZE" on carrying out the punishment, they plan to open a bottle of champagne and begin to consider the next step of arguments to force the Supreme Court of USA and get them to declare that every state that has a Death Penalty a 'cruel and unusual and UNJUST PUNISHMENT'. By giving that declaration, it would tear away the States' right to carry out the death penalty that's on their books!
I feel bad for every victim of a crime. When they hear that the criminal has been "spared" the death penalty and been transferred to LIFE IMPRISONMENT, what are the chances that same prisoner will wait like 10-20 years before an argument starts : "LIFE IMPRISONMENT is Cruel and Unusual and UNJUST PUNISHMENT" as well?
We are living in a society where people are killing people for various reasons. Those who survive these killers are left with a memory of pain and unable to forgive the killer. Killer is happy because, without a fear of ultimate punishment, he/she gets a warm bed, a cent paying job in prison, and food 3 times a day. That's all at Taxpayer expense!
That's where at one point, a friend of mine was just visiting a former friend at a prison and he told me that every prisoner in the death row complex broke out cheering and laughing at the Supreme Court that just ruled in favor of the prisoners on the death row. It took a lock down to restore order. And no.. I'm not going to say where this happened.
You know, Lethal Injections have been considered the most humane way of putting a human being to death. But now these prisoners are saying "It's cruel because you can't mix the formula right for every prisoner who deserves to die!". Unfortunately, they're wrong. An over dose of the lethal drugs is an overdose of drugs meant for them to die by! So why should they complain the needless suffering they are about to suffer when the victims they killed suffered painfully to die and are in hell or in heaven? At most times, these killers are going to hell anyhow!
If in the day Death Penalty is abolished in this nation, then every death penalty foe had better cough up millions of dollars to pay for a larger prison system in this nation. The reason: there will be a greater number of people arrested, tried, and found guilty, and ultimately sentenced to Prison terms
Unless there is a better way to execute these killers, I recommend that we bring back from France a favorite device : The guillotine!
The Gullotine is the best way to execute a prisoner. Messy, yes. But effective. The prisoner will not have a chance to feel pain the very instant his head is separated from his body. He/she dies very quickly!
So, now everyone is watching the Supreme Court to render a decision that will give the fate of every state's the death penalty laws. Whatever happens.. the state Supreme court own judges ought to start making new resumes pretty soon because by the next election year, they'll be pounding the pavement for a new judge job. THEY CAN BE VOTED OUT! And we'll vote in responsible judges who will make the RIGHT laws that favor the DEATH PENALTY!
I believe in the death penalty for these killers. No matter how they die.. NO MERCY SHOULD BE SHOWN TO THEM because the person they killed was shown NO MERCY either when they asked for it.
Semper fi: Death Penalty forever.

Past One Year at Gallaudet University.
G'day Everyone!
Let's see PSC votes in new President of GU April 2006 (check)...
Announcement by BOTS in Early May 2006 (check)...
Protest ticks off everyone along with Tent City I May 2006 (check)...
Quiet Summer 2006 (check)..
Tent City II / Protest resumes September / October 2006 (check)...
Protestors arrested mid-Oct 2006 (check) [not praising jordan again, check]..
Fernandes fired near end of protest before hunger strikers died late October 2006 (check)..
New Interm President of GU late Nov 2006.. (check)..
and now ONE YEAR PAST ALL THIS MESS? BIG CHECK!
Hey.. wait a minute! Jordan, Fernandes, and Kimmel coming back to teach? I say HELL NO!
I don't care if they got "Tenure" which is a better word for "Job Security". But I sound the CALL to the Students to action and say "EMAIL THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES and GU PRESIDENT DAVILA and tell them this: 'JORDAN, FERNANDES, and KIMMEL MUST BE TURNED AWAY FROM GALLAUDET UNIVERSITY!' ". I am aware that there is a petition going on out there. But action must be taken now and the Top Gallaudet University officals ought to be warned that these individuals who created this mess, should not be allowed back on campus.
If Gallaudet says "Well, the teacher's union that grants them tenure, then they must be allowed to do their "job". So we're stuck". NOPE. I won't believe that.
But Gallaudet University ought to be in fear that if Jordan, Fernandes and Kimmel return, students would rather drop out and go to another university and continute their education there. Then with the accrediation on the line, would it be fair to those left in the Semester to have to face these "Professors"? NO.
I rather see Jordan, Fernandes, and Kimmel prevented from returning to the campus than to see them "Lecture" on campus.
But there is one other tatic that can send a message if Gallaudet allows them to "teach". Just don't register for their class. Once they see nobody registering for their classes, these "professors" will realize they waste their time and money on campus.
Let us hope that Davila and GU BOTs will reconsider letting Jordan, Fernandes, and Kimmel of returning to their "jobs". It is NOT worth it.
FYI: If you want to VOTE of what really should be done to thiese "individuals". This is your chance to EXPRESS their future. So VOTE! Results can be seen for it!

Wild Oct / Nov. week!
G'day Everyone!
Well, the weekend has been a big **YAWN** to me. But I got pretty wide eyed of what has been going on.
First: Hearing about my faithful Gallaudet Bisons Football team get whomped on a road trip put me in a sad mood.
Worse was to hear the bad bus driver that decided to make things go worse by taking the LONG way home. (ouch and D'oh!)
A lot of people asked me if we should be bringing back the bison drum back on the side lines and drumming to help the team? That is to say, I believe the time has come to arrive for it.
If we lose 2 more games (one this weekend at home (GU) and one on the road), I think Coach Hottle knows he's about to be attacked in Fernandes style some time later. (pack some petitions, but leave the pitch spoons at home).
Second: Penn State University (PSU). Big loss to the boasting Ohio State University (OSU). Several fans have been bitching away that the Refs were NOT doing thier job and that several plays were deems suspectious.
Will NCAA call in their own Sherlock to investigate the PSU-OSU game? Prolly not given the way the late Football season is. We should hope OSU will dismantle itself later. OSU had to be escorted out of State College, PA after taunting several PSU players and fans. They were protected till they reached the state line. (some eggs got their bus)
But now is the time for PSU to divest itself out of the Big Ten and put it college back where it belongs, in the Atlantic state division. Joe Paterno, JoePA for short, ought to start thinking retirement sooner or later, most likely sooner! The sooner he decides, the better it will be for PSU!
Third: Big yawn! I had no need to watch the world series. I knew that arrogant team: Boston Red Sox would win the title, AGAIN! The better baseball team? NOPE. Just one of those arrogant PROUD teams that boasted in spring training that they'd win the title outright and they did. I would like for Boston, for once, to give this world series title to a team that has NEVER won it as a gesture of Sportsmanship. THE RED SOX SUCKS! ***YYYUUUCCCKKK** BORING WORLD SERIES 2007!
Fourth: Here's a question of the day: How much is too much? There was a controversy of hearing the Washington Redskins losing to the New England Pats by a score of 56-7. Now question is.. When is it a "MERCY" to call the game? In some NFL games and College Football games, when the other team is THOROUGHLY beaten down to the point where it is very highly impossible odds to overcome to defeat the other team in a game. I mean, I've seen scores of 60's, 70's, and 80's ranges of points, thoroughly putting the game out of reach against the opposition team. So tell me, when do you call it "END OF THE GAME"?
In my honest opinion, when it's the last quarter of the game, it should be a merciful end when the score is already MORE than 3 chances for a touch down. By ending it early, you are doing the teams a favor. Nobody likes to watch another team boasting of how they are beating the opposition. It creates rage, anger, and hurt. In the past, there have been several incidents where a football team has to be protected from boasting fans or angry fans and escorted away from the stadium as soon as possible. Some of them had to be protected till they got out of state.
One incident stands out in my mind. It's not football related, but it is baseball. My hometown has had a wonderful baseball team. Minor league. When they had a championship series.. the other team thoroughly beat my home town by more than 20 points. By the time it was 7th inning, none of the players had a heart to try to win the game. They were demoralized. By 9th inning, the home town crowd got really ugly. The coach of the visiting team had a presence of mind to have the assistant managers and equipment managers to stay behind and gather up stuff for later (they hid in the locker rooms with the doors closed and locked securely). The team had to scamper for the bus real fast and the bus had to pull away fast as it could. It got pelted with all sorts of objects. (don't ask me what they were. It was REAL UGLY). I wasn't part of it but I was shocked.
So the day has to come in the sports world for an ethical decision of WHEN to end the game when a team has put the game out of reach. It isn't sportsmanship any more. It's BOASTMANSHIP. It's when a thoroughly embarrasses the other team, officials ought to call it over to prevent fights and ill will. I have never seen teams more bitter than those who want to beat the other team for the bad memories. We need to ethically bring SPORTSMANSHIP back into the game more by a general rule of just how far teams should be able to out-score the other team.
Lastly: What happened to Ridorlive.com? A lot of people have asked me if I knew what happened to his web page lately. As far as I can tell you, I do not want to add to the list of rumors about his troubles. I expect Ricky Taylor will deal with the techies of his provider and get his site back up and running. Whatever what caused the crash, I am going to ask Ridor fans to please have some respect for Ricky Taylor. It's no fun overwhelming a web server. A web author doesn't like to watch his web page crash at all. So please, back off and give Ricky time to get his page back up and running again, thanks.
Finally, I will comment later about the historical events that it is now officially ONE YEAR after the fall of Jane Fernandes. We're still dealing with messes at Galladet.
Still we ought to be concerned about Jordan, Fernandes, and Kimmel coming back to the campus. That'll be a future post soon.
for now.. SEMPER FI!

It was requested that I withdraw the previous post about Jane Fernandes.
I am giving the person a respect who made the request to withdraw it.
But I am going post my own comments later about Jane Fernandes at a later time.

Long time no see!
G'day everyone!
I have been busy in the last few days. I've been following the firestorm, which is now officially an ArsonStorm. So bad out there, the insurance companies are FLEEING the state of California! Now that's truly a disaster in the making. Some of the worst hit Hurricane areas are still suffering from a disaster of Hurricanes and insurance companies fleeing the area.
I've been happy lately that PSU and Gallaudet won their respective games last weekend. But now, this weekend is very ROUGH for both teams.
The Gallaudet University Bisons are playing in Massachusetts area. They just left the campus not too long ago and will soon be there. It's the biggest road trip for the Bisons. Let's hope for a win!
PSU faces Ohio State University (OSU). And get this.. It'll be an important game in Happy Valley, PA!! That's NOT ALL! As of right now. OSU is now #1. And if PSU wins.. OSU will get knocked off of the list or down several notches. So this will be a BIG.. BIG.. B....I....G... game in State College (aka Happy Valley) this weekend. If you are going there, GO EARLY FRIDAY MORNING IF YOU CAN! The place will fill up FAST!! WHOA!
Lastly, I have been crying pretty much hard lately. I'd like to share of what's going on, but due to the personal level of involvement in the situation, I can't explain it yet. But it does relate to some of my past experiences. And I want to say this to some people out there.
Be careful who you tell to break up because it will come back to haunt you. I had been in a relationship before and an old religious group I used to be with, broke my relationships up by claiming "the Word of God gives them that right". I warned them "be prepared and dig 3 graves". When they asked "Why do that?". I said "One will be yours and one will be for me and my girl friend because we'll come back to haunt you!".
I've had several people pop-up from the previous church groups for various reasons. Some feeling guilty. Some dying. Some just wanting flat out forgiveness for what they done.
I usually went tough as nails to grill them down till they swore out a major confession of which they said the reasons why they influenced my girlfriend to break up with me. Most of them couldn't get on with their personal lives after what they did to me. They had to resolve it. Most of them are glad they did. Others not only got forgiveness but remained bitter as they are.
So, like I say.. don't influence a couple (whatever it be Straight/gay/or lesbian couple) to break up because when you.. YOU WILL BE HAUNTED BY IT! (yes it will bite you in the ass hard!).
Having said that off my chest makes me feel better.
So, until next post.. have a great evening. Enjoy the rain, pray for California. Laters.

Cops to enforce Immigration?
G'day everyone!
I was reading a commentary on CNN today. The writer of it is very opposed to having police officers to enforce immigration policies on illegal immigrants.
Here's the article: http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/22/navarrette/index.html.
Now, let me say this folks, Police officers are often the first responders to such incidents anywhere in the nation. They put their very lives on the line. But when it comes to catching criminals and non-criminals, they have a job to do.
Navarrette is all about PRO-Illegal immigration! He wants illegal immigrants to try to get into the USA, find a way to get the "green card" by every means possible, so that the Immigration and Naturalization Services (that's INS, folks) can't send them back home.
But you know what? Navarrette is wrong. When you are an illegal immigrant, you just BROKE the law of legal immigration. That means, all of your chances of gaining the American dream have just gone out of the way the moment your crossed into the USA illegally. Thousands of you are here illegally. It's upsetting the American quality of life.
Every day, there are more than a 1000 of LEGAL immigrants who come through the offical legal channels in the right way. They go through a CLEAR background check. They get a shot of becoming a REAL american citizen. They take the pledge of allegence to say "yes, I will honor, support, defend, and DIE for my country against the people who INVADE my country.".
Reality is clear. Illegal immigrants are invading the country! Should we start taking up guns and start to shoot them to force them BACK to where they came from? NO. But we should call the cops with tips of who's here ILLEGALLY. Police have the right to detain illegal people from escaping and turning them over to the INS to process them for deportation.
Some of illegal immigrants are people with a criminal background history. Some of them, very violent. Let me give you an example.
A few weeks ago, there was an illegal immigrant that lived in a home of a friend of his. His home was owned by landlord. When the landlord found out that the illegal immigrant lived there.. he called INS. They picked this guy up, processed him, found out his crminal background, and deported him. This happend twice.
The third time, this guy got into the USA illegally, came all the way back to where his friend stayed. Then, he killed not only his friend, but his friend's landlord. Lucky, his landlord got on 911 fast before he died. Now this illegal immigrant is sitting in a death row cell. He awaits the day he'll be put to death. But that's on hold due to the high court's decision on the death penalty. This illegal immigrant smiles and says "I got a comfortable place now. I'm not going anywhere. I finally got a "dream home" being paid by tax payers.
If that doesn't scare you, then what does? Cops are the first responders. If they catch illegal immigrants before the INS does, then good job police! Illegal immigrants are a threat to national security. And if in the very day another 9/11 type incident happens, let's hope these illegal immigrants know that they better find some good "witnesses" to vouch for them because that'll be very hard to do. God help this nation.
The Gay Wizard?
G'day everyone!
I am sitting here and surfing the net. A friend of mine, (BIG SEMPER FI to JIM!), alert me to a news item in Yahoo news. And here it is:
I am sitting here and surfing the net. A friend of mine, (BIG SEMPER FI to JIM!), alert me to a news item in Yahoo news. And here it is:
If you read it, then here's the main point I will make: I have read ALL of Harry Potter's books. While it is all about Magic, THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT ALBUS DUMBLEDORE BEING GAY!
JR Rowleg is so wrong. If she wanted to write about something of a sexual nature of Harry Potter being alone at longer times with Albus Dumbledore, then she should have written that. But, no. I sense that Harry looks up to Albus Dumbledore as a Grandfatherly figure that takes on the parenting job for Harry's dead parents. Despite the Albus Dumbledore's death in book 6 (yes, folks. if you haven't read it.. SNAPE KILLS ALBUS DUMBLEDORE!) Harry still looks up to Dumbledore in the picture frame.
There is nothing of a sexual nature of it. But if it was, JR Rowleg's books would not have the smash hit success it enjoys today if Albus Dumbledore was pictured as a pedophile. That is an adult having sex with young kids.
We live in a concern filled world. We have people trying to control certain people from having sex with young kids. This latest news would put a downer on the Harry Potter sales. It would even give the CHRISTIAN RIGHTS groups a chance to attack the Harry Potter series and call it "CHILD PORN and GAYISM". I would be afraid of that if I was a newbie then to the Harry Potter series then.
I hope JR Rowleg reconsiders her statements. Albus Dumbledore is a Grandfather. That's how I picture him. That how I feel him. Powerful as he is.. even in death, he has respect. But whatever you think it is.. don't ever think he's gay because he's not. He is just a lone wizard set in his ways.
Semper FI Albus Dumbledore.

The final job in DC?
G'day everyone!
I got shocked yesterday. I knew my day was going to be WACKY. How wacky?
Try getting up a bit late, then on I-66, some idiot agressive driver nearly sideswipes me. Lucky I am good in Defensive driving. I managed to get his Virginia license plate and call the cops. Needless to say, they picked him up and charged him with a HIT and RUN on Rt 29! Poor SOB. The police will contact me later of what happens to that poor guy. Aggressive or not, he was labeled a "another dangerous driver taken off the road". I think that's permanent! :-)
Later at the office, I'm trying to calm down and thanking God that I'm still here. But then, my company's e-mail system won't let me work! All day, we've been trying to figure out WHY!
By the COB (Close of Business), my boss informed me that my email certificates expired due to not acting on their part about my contract with Bender Consulting group which expired a few days ago!
I was a bit SHOCKED when he said that. But didn't show it. I had a gut feeling that things were over. So today, I will find out if it's going to be my final day with my company or not. I plan to work hard and go out on a high note. But not without doing one final prank at my Depot boss. He pranked me other day. I was kind of gracious about it. Not going to say what it is because it's so PERSONAL. So this calls for the ULTIMATE prank. What ultimate prank will I pull?
Not saying. It will be done at the proper time. Heh heh. Never mess with the Master Prankster! I may pratically bring down the entire place laughing. (Robert Goodwin, I wish you could be a fly on the wall here!).
But whatever happens, it will end on MY TERMS, not theirs (unless it's mutual respect). If it's finale day, I'm pretty much prepared to go. I asked myself "Will I kiss the famed I-66 good-bye?". Prolly not. I would just symbolically do it. It has been a difficult 6 months here in DC. I'm not going to say WHY, but it just puts me in a mix of emotions.
Today, I will be talking with Bender Consulting Group. Bascially the ball's in their court as well as with the business I am working with. Am I staying or am I leaving? I'll find out soon before I head on to Allentown, Pa tonight.
Stick around because I will update this later today.

Update:
I just found out today that Bender had renewed the contract with CSC. I'm so angry, I'm spitting nails. (pppaaaatttoooooiiiieee!! Don't ask me where it landed. Prolly in someone's butt!).
The contract is still on. I'm not pleased. I rather have a full time job permanently than a contract. I'm turning up the job search on Monday to FULL BLAST. They won't get away with this!
Presently, I'm out of DC. Hope things go well at Gallaudet Homecoming!

Old enemy in the hospital.
Just today, I got informed of an old "enemy" was in the hospital and having some 'surgery' done on him. A friend of mine passed on this info after he was told 5 days ago. I'm very sure my friend had wrestled with the fact of "to tell or not to tell".
While I am glad I am told, I feel disappointed. Surgery is always a risk these days. No matter what type of an operation you can go through, you can suffer some type of a complication. It could be a simple complication to a LIFE ENDING COMPLICATION.
One fact remains very clear. MRSA, which is known as STAPH Infections, is very prevalent in the hospitals. But as of CNN has said recently on it's news site, you ought to be aware of this:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/conditions/10/16/mrsa.cdc.ap/index.html
It's strange. For years they said we had to be careful of sex (whatever if you are gay, lesbian, or straight) because AIDS was the number one killer disease. But now advances are made to stem the AIDS crisis and at the same time, there are drugs to help.
Today, it's staph infections. It's spreading faster in a lot of places. Even in schools! What does this mean? Schools, health clubs and various places have to wipe down equipment as much as possible. Keep your hands washed at all times. Make sure all your wounds are taken care of!
I hope my old enemy puts himself in the hands of God. Whatever he lives or dies, God will be the final judge. But overall, let's be careful and stop staph from spreading.

Aggressive Drivers.
G'day Every one.
It doesn't matter if it's Early morning or Late evening. Some idiot drivers are out there. They think their road that they drive on is "NASCAR" road. They think they got a need to drive FASTER than the speed limit, faster than crowded traffic lanes, and thinking faster to anticipate the changing roads and other drivers responses. BUT, that just seals their fate to have a date to meet DEATH!
Last Friday, I went up on I-495 (inner loop) to get to I-270. Traffic was horrible. Then I heard a car's radio that a major crash took two lives due to agressive driving. I quickly took I-66 east to Route 7. Later, home bound on Route 15 to Route 340/ 15.. I was stuck in traffic. It was two hours before I got past the accident area. I quickly asked the cop.. "was it deadly? was it agressive driver?". Cop said "yup, yup!". I knew another driver had bit the dust that day.
Later on route 15, everyone was directed off to a side road, while going down the road where I meet cops directing traffic, I said to a few them "lemme guess why we're being told to go off route 15: 1. It's a major accident, 2. Drivers are dead. and 3. They were aggressively driving in a NASCAR style way. Am I RIGHT?". The cops looked at each other and said "How did you figure that out? We didn't broadcast this to the public yet!". I parked my car, no one was behind me, and I looked at them in the eye and said "Gentlemen, when you have driven 7 hours in one day and seen so much death from here to down in DC (I-270, 66) area, I know more than enough that these drivers are being idiot enough to agressively drive badly. Yes they have paid the price with their lives. So, when I've seen all of it today, it's time to start thanking God and driving home". That's when I took off after hearing their thanks.
I had a nice weekend at home. Coming back to DC area wasn't that bad. But this AM.. there was another nut pulling a NASCAR stunt again. I'm not going to say what happened. But it was a bad result that tangled up things as usual on I-66. What will it take to tame these bad drivers?
Let me tell you something. You only have one good car. You only have one good insurance. You only have one good driver's license. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY.. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE TO LIVE! When you do agressive driving, it will not matter because one fatal mistake by you or the other driver will have a LIFE CHANGING IMPACT ON EVERYONE IN YOUR FAMILY and ON THE OTHER DRIVER. When you lose your life, you will regret in eternity that you drove too fast to your own destruction. How will you explain yourself to God?
Pounder this today. Learn something. Above all, slow down. We're all moving too fast to save time. But if we slow down.. we'll save lives which are precious items.
Thanks for letting me vent.

The Return of IKJ, JKF, and KK?
I was shocked to get an e-mail from the protest leaders that they heard of the possiblity that I.King Jordan, Jane K. Fernandes, and Karen Kimmel might return to the campus to teach in the classes.
For myself, that is a concern for the mental state of the campus of having these "professors" returning to the state of the academic field.
I would encourage President Davila to have him sit down with these individuals and tell them that they should NOT consider returning to the campus. I wouldn't even promise their safety in the class rooms.
Second, a petition should be started against I.King Jordan. If he returns to the Gallaudet University to teach in the classrooms, then his very name MUST COME OFF the Student Academic Center (SAC). When Jordan was President, he somehow forced the previous Gallaudet Board of Trustees to violate tradition and have his name put on the SAC building. It is not right. Not right at all. Jordan should have retired and left Gallaudet for good.
For Fernandes and Kimmel? I think their comments in various newspapers and speaking engagements have rendered them unsuitable for Gallaudet University's classrooms.
My hope is that President Davila will take into serious account of the events that could happen if these individuals returned to the class rooms of our fair campus. I urge President Davila to reconsider his actions and prevent them from coming on the campus. Revoke their tenure if possible.
Davila should take action to protect this campus. IKJ, JKF, and KK ought to look for jobs elsewhere. They have no longer work on campus.
on a sadder note: The Clerc Center Dean: Dr. Katherine A. Jankowski, has resigned. She is leaving for health reasons and her vision is departing from her. She will be missed from the campus of Gallaudet, but we should have high hopes that she will remain an influence in the deaf community as well as on the campus of Gallaudet. Dr. Stephen Weiner is acting as Dean of the Clerc Center for the time being. A replacement is in the works.

Homecoming week at Gallaudet University
G'day Everyone!
Are you ready for the HOMECOMING at GALLAUDET UNIVERSITY???
This is the year that will be the NEW HOMECOMING for Gallaudet University. Last year, we had to make our "OWN" homecoming at Gallaudet University because the Department of Public Safety could not promise to Former President Jordan that safety on the campus would NOT be compromised. With the protests going on, it was a decision that Dr. Jordan had to make a very unpopular decision and cancel the homecoming celebration.
Now, we are in the middle of Fall Semester 2007. It is now the REAL homecoming time. It is going to be a day that all of us will gather again at our wonderful institution and thanking our professors (past and present) for the wonderful education.
Presently, I am concerned about the Bisons. We are 2-4 at this point. I'm worried about the recent huge back-to-back losses. Has Coach Hottle pushed our team well? Did they prepare well? How much differnt is for Coach Hottle right now? In the Club games.. he felt he didn't have to use the drum for team. Now with 4 losses in this D3 season.. will Coach Hottle realize that the infamous Bison drum is part of our football team and use it again? Or can Coach Hottle stand to go for more losses?
Whatever the impact happens on this week of preparations, Hottle better have his team ready to face Williamsom Trade. Tough team!
So Get ready Alumni of Gallaudet! We're going to SEMPER FI the BISONS this weekend! Come out and show BISON PRIDE! Go BISON! BEAT WILLIAMSON TRADE!!
(meanwhile, PSU fight Indiana this weekend too)

PSU's Big Day/ I-80 tolls.
G'day friends!
Yesterday, the Gallaudet University Bisons had a day off for the weekend. All of the Bisons took time to catch up on their studies. But it worries me that Coach Hottle is not doing a better job of prepping his players for this coming Saturday's game. It's very important for the Bisons to win in front of the homecoming crowd.
Also, Penn State University held it's homecoming yesterday as well. PSU knew very well from the get-go that they HAD TO WIN in front of their home crowd. Guess what? Wisconsin Badgers flew into State College, boasting that they'd win the place and embarass PSU again. UH oh.. They shouldn't have said it.
PSU heard it and the Lions bared fangs and claws. In less than it took to half-time, they totally dominated Wisconsin. In the end, PSU made sure the door hit Wisconsin Badgers' butt HARD on the way out. They left State College pretty fast. 38-7 win! Congratulations PSU! REVENGE IS SO SWEET!! Whooo hoo!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, on the political side:
There is a lot of worry in the northen half of PA. Lawmakers of Harrisburg have their mind on MONEY. Let me repeat that.. $$$$money$$$$. How? They want to turn Interstate 80, that's I-80 folks, into a TOLL ROAD HIGHWAY. The Lawmakers in Harrisburg are NOT LISTENING to the people of PA who have elected them. Even the Governor of PA as well. Right now, the plans of turning I-80 into a toll lanes are nearly complete. All that it needs left is Federal Government approval.
If the approval happens, two things will happen. Those foolish elected officals will be VOTED OUT OF THEIR OFFICE. Then it will be an ugly court battle for the next decade to prevent the tolls from happening.
It's going to have a nasty economic impact on the northen half of the state. But PA thinks that the "pain" in the north half of the state is good for the budget of PA. Let's see what happens. I predict the worst will happen and PA will pay a price and become the POOREST state in the nation later.
Until it happens, drive on that I-80 folks! It's still a free lane highway!

One year after the Gallaudet Protests
G'day everyone!
It's one year later after the Gallaudet protests that happened on the Campus of Gallaudet University. In just two weeks, it will be a "celebration" time of the day when the Gallaudet Board of Trustees will have "fired" or rescinded Dr. Jane K Fernandes' contract to her.
But for one year ago of Today, October 13th, it was a "black Friday" on the campus when 143 student protestors were arrested on the campus.
Was it a justified arrest? Yes and no.
Yes, because it was under the responsibility of Gallaudet University to maintain law and order on the campus. It would have been better for Gallaudet to arrest ALL of the protestors than just "symbolically" arresting 143 students.
In the No part, it wasn't because I. King Jordan had made an "agreement" that none of the protestors would be arrested in the darkness of the night when communication of sign language is pretty much impossible. If Dr. Jordan realizes this, he broke it and had the arrests taken place.
Which leads to the question: who ordered the arrests to happen? It would have to be anyone from Judicial Affairs, to the Board of Trustees, to President Jordan himself. We may not know the exact person.
Today, it leads to another question. After one year, how are these 143 "criminals" with rap sheet able to get a job, get into a college, and survive? It may be a 'badge of honor', but you know what? It opens a can of worms when you apply somewhere. You get asked "Why were you listed as arrested for disruption of university campus?". That is a tough and trick question. They challenge you to see if you are really honest about it.
When I was asked about it last February, when I interviewed for my present job, I knew it was personal and illegal to ask of it. But never the less, I went ahead and told them the clear mis-understanding that I'm NOT one of those arrested. (similar to Ryan Commerson's "Not arrested shirt"). But personally, I believed that Gallaudet was right in it's own intersts to bring law and order on the campus.
Presently, with a "new" Gallaudet Board of Trustees in place, I am wondering if one of the MSCHE's recommendations to the Gallaudet University includes of "maintaining LAW and ORDER on the campus at all times."? Which means, if another protest happens on the campus, Gallaudet University could let it happen until it reaches a point where they have to ARREST ALL THE STUDENTS PROTESTORS after several warnings are given. I'm sure the new BOTS would have do it, no matter what. Law and order must be maintainted on campus at all times.
Right now, I'm more curious of how Gallaudet University's First REAL Homecomming will happen on campus next weekend? Since last year, Dr.Jordan cancelled homecomming when safety on the campus could not be assured due to the protests. This year, Homecomming will be SPECIAL and WONDERFUL event. So who cares of our BISONS lose the game? We have our homecomming back on campus. But let safety, law, and order rule the day on campus so everyone can enjoy the special time.
SEMPER FI!
Yes and no.

The Controveral Tom Neville's Pager movie!
Update:
Some deaf people were NOT laughing about how Tom Neville shows of how dumb and ignorant a deaf person is with the pager. While it's a funny show (at the first few times you watch it), it will later dawn on you of just how serious it can be to show how some deaf people take their sidekick pagers too seriously.
In one part of the movie, it shows a deaf person driving and then forgetting to drive while talking on the pager. Seriously to say, I have been a passenger in REAL LIFE where I've had deaf friends who let go of the wheel and talk on the damn pager. In both cases, I've had to grab the wheel, then grab their pager out of their hands and scream "DRIVE THE DAMN CAR! I'LL TEXT WHOEVER IT DAMN IS ON!". Of course, I demanded to be let out and walked/took the transportation where I wanted to go. And both times, both of the individuals did end up in a car accident in real life.
Texting your pager and driving your car do not work together! You can get killed!! Let me say that SERIOUSLY!
Go ahead, view this movie:

Orignal Title: One Funny Man: Tom Neville!
Spoof on Deaf Lawyer Specializing in Pager InjuriesASL Expo has a screamingly funny video on its website. It's about afictional deaf lawyer who has a very successful career winning lawsuitsfor injuries to deaf people because of their pager use. The video is inAmerican Sign Language.
See "Law Offices of Tom Neville" at:
www.aslexpo.com/video/deaflawyer.wmv
Go to this site! Then sit back and enjoy. It's so funny, be prepared to laugh HARD!
*gasping* SEMPER FI to TOM NEVILLE! The one man FUNNY SHOW!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personal comments: I want to remind deaf audiences that Tom Neville is not a lawyer and what is shown in the movie isn't real. But it illistrates of just how stupid we can be with those pagers.
So, please.. If you got a sidekick pager, use it in a responsible way!! DO NOT TEXT AND DRIVE! (yes, you will get pulled over and arrested for it! Charges are the same as DUI!).
Last thing: I have to give personal credit to Tom Neville! While it's funny movie, I was laughing how he looked so drag queenish! (it would have helped if he added some breasts!).
I just thought I would add these comments because of the e-mails that I got about the movie.
I hope Tom Neville goes back to making about the ASLEXPO and the BUG.

Deaf Man attacked for being Silent.
My God. I can't believe this one!!
When Jamie Berke had picked up this one off the 'net and reported in her Deafness.about.com site: (see link)
http://deafness.about.com/b/a/258127.htm?nl=1
I could not believe my eyes. Yes, you have to go to the site where the story is actually being reported.
http://www.star-telegram.com/629/story/257747.html
Read that article thoroughly. Two things I that I find are very strange. For starters, the store clerk who hit Cody Goodnight never said one word of apology after learning that Cody Goodnight was deaf.
Second, get this: "The store's surveillance tape was erased or taped over prior to officers' arrival, Sullivan said."
Now you can bet that this clerk had covered up his criminal act very fast because he knows some one's coming. He knows the police are going to come in and ask questions for hitting someone. By erasing the surveillance tape of evidence, the son-of-a-bitch hopes that he can't get convicted. But, in my honest opinion, the Family Dollar Store ought to fire the clerk and then sue him for his criminal destruction of company property. More over, Surveillance tapes should not be taped over for any reason at any time. When you do that, you are going to prison, buddy boy!
I hope Cody Goodnight's family retains two lawyers. One for the criminal trial against the clerk where I hope the DA charges the clerk with attempted murder! Hitting someone with a hard crowbar is likely to cause death! Especially when you hit someone on the head.
The other lawyer, I hope they sue Family Dollar Store hard! A clerk, that had an access to weapons like a crowbar and is prone to do violence, is a person who should not be working in there. I hope this clerk goes to prison for a long time!
Cody Goodnight, we hope you heal, but get a 2nd doctor to look at you thoroughly!
May today's post put businesses on notice. Train your employees, you business owners! There are many handicapped people out there. Being deaf is one of them. You must respect the handicapped person. If you do not, you can lose more of your business in an instant if your clerks do not do good customer relations with all people of nature.

Young cop kills kids!
G'day every one!
I am more shocked than I wanted to be. When I read about how this young 20 year old kid, that was a cop, I could not believe he would get into such a rage that he would kill his own friends. You don't believe me? Here's the story:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/08/wisconsin.shooting/index.html
How in *insert your favorite name* did this 20 year old kid pass a background check to get a gun, badge, and uniform? I am more than shocked and stunned. I sit in disbelief that a young man like him would make such a decision to go ahead and kill his friends.
The worst part is, the police act like they have to go after one of thier own. They would rather kill one of their own instead of shooting to disable the rouge cop so they can prosecute him. I think that's the bad idea. If the murderous cop had lived, cops would have seen a awful time in their lives through the courts. So they made the decision of playing "judge, jury, and exectioner" to kill one of their own cop personnel fast as possible.
Now, the bigger problem is, will we know the reasons why he went on a rampage? We won't. The police have acted too fast. How many times have we asked them "shoot to disable the killer! NOT SHOOT TO DEATH". You can't ask a dead body questions.
In this town of Wisconsin, grief has been tone of the day. Pray for them, my friends. I hope every young cop and cop wanna-bes will take a close look at themselves and consider a different job in their young lives. Young kids with guns do not mix well. Especially for a young rookie cop.
Pray for the victims and their family. Lawyers await in the wings next!
*************************************************************************************
Upate: Just as I feared. The poor guy had tried to get back together with his ex-girlfriend and she rebuffed him. Same time his friends called him "worthless pig". In honesty to say, he totally lost control of himself and what he did was totally in rage. I think he knew what was coming. I'm glad he talk to his friend before he died.
But I hope after all this, I hope every police departments from small towns on up changes the way they hire their people.
I still urge people to pray for that town in Wisconsin.

MD Renfest/ wondering the future.
G'day everyone!
I had to write about this past weekend. Yesterday, my old friend and former roommate, Bruce Denhart, and I went to the Maryland Renfest. Here's the webpage to what I'm talking about: http://www.rennfest.com
The renfest in Md yesterday was MORE than I expected. First off, be sure you are packing about $100 with you. I will explain in a minute why. Then be sure you plan to stay all day!
The renfest is really called Renaissance Festival. It like to experience the old days in a true sense of a village in a forest. It was very intersting. BUT, be prepared to do a LOT OF WALKING! LOTS OF HILLS!
It's not handicapped accessible place but 1/2 of the place is handicapped. Many vendors have ramps leading into thier shops. So be prepared to have someone push you if you are in a wheelchair.
When Bruce and I were there, it wasn't a day to have asl interpretation at the performances. But looking at the web page here's the info:
>American Sign Language interpretation
>On Sunday, October 14th many stage and court shows will be interpreted with American Sign Language Interpreters. This year the weekend is split to better accommodate visitor's schedules and offer part of the service during the discount ticket offer period ending September 9. Please visit the Customer Service Stand forty yards inside the front gate to for a schedule.
(they had a interpreted day early in September so next one is October 14, that is NEXT SUNDAY! GO THERE and have fun lads and lassies!)
At the same time, it was a hot day, I am glad I changed into shorts. (whew) But, go to the bathroom at home first. I wouldn't recommend going into the port-a-potty. (eeek).
Every bit of food is low cost and yet delicious! I could have tried everything if I wanted to.
So, if you are going to renfest, GO EARLY AS POSSIBLE! But leave at 5pm because when they finish for the day at 7pm, traffic gets tangled. (we didn't get out till 8pm).
Hope you enjoy it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, I'm wondering my future. While my contract with my job might end this Tuesday, I'm wondering where I will go. I have no set plans yet, so I'm keeping open to the path of the wind.
Yesterday, I was suppose to go to Gallaudet football game. But that changed when I went to renfest instead. Shocking thing is, Gallaudet lost again. Oh what to do? Nothing. Coach Hottle has bitten off more than he can chew. I think with the two week prep for Homecoming weekend will give him time to consider his next year's plans for the Bisons.
My beloved PSU won over Iowa very well. Whoo hoo! That was a tough one.
FYI: Gallaudet University has several NEW board of trustees memebers. They all look good. Hopefully, they will take SERIOUS reponsibility of the campus. So, we'll see what happens. Gallaudet BOTS, be warned! We're watching you!
So till next time.. SEMPER FI!

The BBC programme: DOCTOR WHO
G'evening everyone!
My dear friend Bruce and I got together this weekend as it's the RIT "Homecoming weekend" in Rochester so, we had our OWN version of a home coming. Bruce and I are old roommates of NTID. So tonight was perfect in a way. We're both fans of 'Doctor Who', a BBC programme TV show of England. We saw our first Doctor Who show that stars Tom Baker, playing as the "Doctor", the good but funny time Lord. I don't remember the name of the show, but we had our first brutal introduction to "the master" (played by Anthony Daniels) and 'the master' always escapes his near deaths. Such a brutal, evil time lord he is. You could lip read these actors very well as this was the days before the captions came in.
We last saw the old BBC series back in the 80s to the 90s. The it stopped. It was as if the TARDIS (Time and Reality Demensions In Space) had lurched the doctor into LIMBO! But life on earth has went on.
There were a few attempts to revive the Doctor Who series by making some mega movies.
Most fell flat on their face. (ouch, and shoved back into limbo again!).
Then there was rumor last year that a NEW Doctor Who series was made. It showed up on the SCI-FI channel. (Bruce and I thought PBS would get it again). There it was, it was differnt and vibrant! Very action paced and enjoyable. It made you want to WATCH IT CLOSELY! Yes The (NEW) Doctor Who series are in CLOSED caption! It was actually fun!
Tonight was the end of the season. I'm not going to tell you HOW the finale ended. But I was crying. Just as if I meet the Master and the doctor for the first time. This time, the master was DYING. Can't help but LOVE the villian!
Will there be a continue of the series? I hope so. The people who made the new series did a terrific job! I think I'm going to enjoy sitting by the tv on fridays when Doctor Who plays again. (but then again, I'll hit the copy on the DVD-R machine and go to DPHH! :-)
Semper Fi to the Tardis.

Fraternity make-over
G'day everyone!
Today, I was surfing the news and by chance I landed on Yahoo news. Immediately in BOLD (unread news)that caught my eye was something about a fraternity. I clicked in the link and behold! It was a fraternity that wanted to MOVE IT'S IMAGE of the "beer type animal house party" to a *gasp* respectable image! If you don't believe me, then read this link:
Every greek society on the college campus ought to start considering of changing their very image. Especially at Gallaudet University! Schools that are labeled "Party College" will not get the desired students that they so desperately want. Party Colleges may have lax admissions to get in, but when it comes to schools that have TOUGH admissions standards, like Gallaudet University does, it should be clear to fraternities that it's time to shut off that beer tap, forget pledges, and treat every person who wants to join the greek society with respect.
When I looked at both RIT and Gallaudet fraternities that I wanted to join long ago, I already had a high standard set for myself. I wanted to be involved in a respectable organization. But what I saw was nothing but beer, loud music, smoking, many other things that I can't tell you what I saw. To me, seeing these events behind the public eye saddens me. It was the Janus effect.
But now there is hope. If Sigma Phi Epsilon of University of Missouri-Columbia can make a impact on other fraternities, then it will be a more honorable society to get involved on a collge campus.
Some kids will say "Hey lighten up, old dude! Yer young only once, so it's time to party up!". I'd like to tell them this : when you see the party effects hit you when you are a senior at that college, Your GPA will be so low, you'll realize your years have been a waste there. Employers look for the high GPA students these days.
As far as this goes, let's hope the fraternites are put on notice now. Animal house is on the way out for sure. Respect is coming in!

Death to the Pit Bulls!
First of all, today I'm going to say "I'm sorry " to PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals). But, they're going to be screaming bloody murder for people shooting pit bulls to the death.
Here, read this article: http://www.news4jax.com/news/14250768/detail.html
After I read this, there are thousands of Pit bulls of all differnt breeds through out the world. If today's death of one person where they turned on their 'masters', how much more dangerous can it be if THOUSANDS of others do the same?
Ever time I see a Pit Bull, I tell their owner to keep him controlled and away from people. They plead "but it's a tame dog! Loves people, has no history of biting". I hate to say it but I do say it: " it's a living animal gun waiting to go off without warning !" .
Today, I want you to ask yourself this question: Was it morally right that Michael Vick's dogs be spread out to adoption to other people after the life time of suffering they had with him? The answer is very questionable. Will those same dogs, after what they've been through with Vick, turn on their new masters later? I hope the people who sell them for adoption come with a written promise that the dogs won't attack their owners.
It would have been a kindness to these poor abused animals to sleep. Putting them up for adoption puts them at risk for new abuse, no matter how strong the animal adoption laws are. Michael vick's dogs should have been put to sleep.
To sum up everything: I say death to the pit bulls. Let that terrible breed die out complely. We don't need domesticated animal terror in our country.

For OJ Simpson
How can this be? " IF the glove does not fit, you must find NOT GUILTY". That was the complete sentence of the OJ criminal trial some years ago. The jury choose to find him NOT GUILTY.
But in the same happenstance of this Civil Lawsuit trial brought on by the Brown and Goldman families some years ago, have successfully been tearing apart OJ's life through the courts after finding him GUILTY in a civil suit. Now, to me, it was double jeopardy trial of which OJ was re-tried on the same set of "charges" in the civil lawsuit.
Yet, for the years past, the DA has choosen NOT to re-try the OJ criminal case again for the fear of losing again. Yet every day, the Browns and Goldmans are getting "richer" through the judgements as long as OJ Simpson is "famous". They view OJ as the 'golden goose' and 'thank' that Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman died on OJ's property. While I may seem crass about it, but that's how I do interpet the media stories of the Brown and Goldman family.
What happens one day when OJ, the Browns and Goldmans all die and stand before God when God delivers the TRUE JUDGEMENT of what happened? I hate to think that the Browns and Goldman will be in total shock if God were to find OJ Simpson INNOCENT of everything, including the murders. If that happened, OJ would have the terrible right to sue the Browns and Goldman apart in eternity. But, it wouldn't be possible.
Currently, OJ is in trouble again. And if OJ does go to prison for it, the Brown and Goldman will not have any more hope of finding 'judgement money' unless they can make the prison to force OJ at 60 years old, to work 24/7 without a rest and only making 10 cents an hour to pay back everyone.
I hope in 5 years from now, OJ will die. The browns and Goldman will tear the estate (of whatever is left of simpson) apart and then they'll mourn the 'golden goose is dead'. But it will not be justice for nicole and ron.
No.. God will already have done true justice for nicole and ron. That's life in eternity.

Pre-ridorism
G'day all! I was thinking to myself some several days ago while walking in the cool crisp fall air. I asked myself a serious question. I'm several years OLDER than Ridor himself and know what? I would have gone down that "shock-jock type of a jerk" road long ago and stayed on that road into today's present time.
It was just 14 years ago, I had a tremendous falling out with a deaf ministry. I became a DEAF and ANGRY man alive. I had printed and saved hundreds of articles on a computer system that I ever said about the Deaf Christian world. I was really angry at them and God. I was more MILITANT than RIDOR would have been.
But now it took time to pass for that Deaf and Angry man to fade away and being replaced by a friendly deaf guy that I'm well known to be in life.
You know what? When I looked back, I could have been the "FIRST RIDOR" right there. I could have set a early type of a blog on a newsgroup and that would have started everything right there and cemented my place in cyber history.
But, I'm more different now. Knowing that everyone has a right to be angry for some reason, but it's not a reason to make a habit of life to piss off everyone around you. In a way, I'm glad I have not become like Ridor is. I don't need to piss off everyone 24/7 .
Point is..it's important to make good blogs that are respectful to many people. Some times I'm a drama guy because I love theater. I don't like to piss off people but hey, sometimes we have to FOR THE RIGHT REASONS. NOT FOR THE WRONG ONES.
*sigh*. I just hope we be respectful to everyone on the 'net. For Ridor, it's too late for him. He's got his own "fame". He can call his own shot. And if he wants to make money off it.. then I hope he does.
I raise my glass of wine to you, my friend Ridor. May good fortune find you.
For me, life goes on..and my blog is just starting on it's path.. less angry than ridor, but more friendly for the future.
