Contacting Sherlock? Ask permission first.

G'day Everyone.

Recently I had to call the police and report that a person that has harassed/stalked me since the days that I've posted about the Gallaudet University protests. I am fed up and want this person arrested, brought to court, and enter a lawsuit against him/her. I used to accept unexpected contacts, but this has me more concerned than before for my safety.

If this person does not stop stalking/ harassing me, not only will I have that person arrested, but I will make it a public point, just like the political people are doing through this health care debate stuff going on. They are arresting people who stalk, harass, and threaten the lawmakers. So I am telling this person my strongest message ever:

Stop it before you get yourself in trouble completely! We all got our opinions. But yours has been a pain in the ass that has gotten through and overkilled. I do not appreciate it. Thank you.

no praise today. I'm thoroughly pissed.

Update: My post is meant to educate that I am being stalked and I do not appreciate it very much. The police are doing their job. At the same time, I removed the links that allowed people to contact me for the time being. Posting is being moderated, AOL is helping me moderate my aim IMs, and my friends are pissed to the max and wanting that person(s) arrested.

Stalking is a serious crime. Since this has been going on for some time, the jail time is going to add up more.
Once this person is arrested, everyone will know who it is and maybe bring MORE charges against this person.

For now, if you want to contact me, leave a comment for me. I'll reach you through google messages.

Arrested: Computer Hacker!

G'day Everyone.

Finally in what proves to be justice: A computer hacker has been arrested!

Now, yer thinking: "ho-hum, this computer hacker is just going to get another slap on the wrist, told to avoid computers and get job, right?".

WRONG!
Link: http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/computer-hacker-albert-gonzalez-sentenced-to-20-years-in-prison/

When I read his sentence: 20 years, I was just cheering. The judge was sending a message to other wanna-be computer hackers out there of this: The government doesn't kid around. If you do the crime and reap all the "profits", you will get the time of prison!

So hopefully the message will be sent clear to many ugly people out there who abuse and mis-use computers. Be responsible and ethical. But one thing is very clear: Computer hackers will be sent to prison, no matter how careful they are!

CI forced on a deaf girl against her father's wishes!

G'day Everyone.

The CI battle is back again. You want to know where a CI can be forced on a deaf kid against her wishes and against her parent's wishes? Well, here's proof!

Watch this video: http://deaftvchannel.com/blog/news-alerts/father-did-not-agree-to-ci

When you watch this video, it gives you sympathy for the father and his daughter, but anger for his ex and for her parents. As I said, forcing CI upon deaf children is equal to a permanent child abuse. Hearing parents should WAIT until a reasonable age that a child can understand why parents want to put CI on a kid. Not force it upon them.

BUT, for many hearing parents out there, since you forced CI upon your deaf kid, do yourself a favor: When your kid grows up and says he wants his CIs out of head (that's his right to protect his body), then you better listen, obey, and let him have the surgery to take his CIs out.
Deaf Children ought to be permitted to wait till they are deaf adults to decide if they want the CI or not. Being forced upon them causes them many problems.

End the madness. End the use of CI on kids NOW!

Heading into the Spring weekend.

G'day Everyone.

As we head into the Spring weekend, it will give us a respite from all that's happened this week. It's been a very ugly and historical week in the political world. Obama doesn't get it. Nor do the Democrats either. The health care bill needs some more serious work. In the end, people are going to remember what the Democrats do. They will be punished in the upcoming elections.

However, before their punishment comes, they had better seek God all week next week since it'll be the holy week before Easter weekend. Perhaps their own immortal souls are really in danger from the wrath of God.

So while they pray, I hope you will be enjoying this wonderful weather we're having (in some places). The flowers are blooming and people are getting their gardens and lawns ready for the growing season.

Enjoy the weekend!

OH NO! NOT AGAIN! Congress STUPID!

G'day everyone.

OMG.. yeah.. you can dare what those mean. OMG. For a while, I didn't pay attention to CNN. I was working out in the yard for the day. Now I'm tired tonight. Yet, a friend of mine alerted me to what's going on. I rushed to the CNN site. There on TV and on the Internet site, I sat SHOCKED.

The Health Care Bill was ordered back from the Senate to the House for minor fixes. Yet, all those Democrats.. How could they BETRAY America? AGAIN! Yet, in the act of Defiance of the American public, they passed the HEALTH CARE BILL... AGAIN! It now goes to President Obama, AGAIN!

Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/25/health.care.main/index.html?hpt=T1

And here's the challenge that Obama has issued to the GOP: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/25/obama.iowa/index.html?hpt=T1

What President Obama doesn't realize that not only he's slapped the GOP hard.. he's slapped the America public HARD! That could cost him political points this election season.

Now, let me say something else. I don't advocate harm to the Political law makers in DC. But it's getting out of hand already. Latest info: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/25/congress.threats/index.html?hpt=T1

I agree that it's the WRONG response of these people to do on political people. I condemn the people who threaten harm to others!

Take heart! We must impeach these political people in their home districts. We must recall them and tell them that they are FIRED! That's why the Spring and Fall elections are so important right now. America must step up this year. We must step up into the election booth. We must vote the incumbents OUT OF POWER! We must vote in responsible people that will do the right thing. If we take the democrats out of power this year by voting in either GOP or MORE INDEPENDENTS, there fore we can really change congress.

It's time congress had had a 3rd party in place. The time is NOW for a NEW POLITICAL PARTY to arise and take their seats in the HOUSE and Senate and halve the powers of the Democrats and republicans for a while
so that America's economic and social problems can recover and become stronger.

This is important and the time is NOW!

Semper FI for America!

Here we go again!

G'day Everyone.

Well, I'm shocked this morning. I pull up CNN and found out that my fellow republicans have successfully prevented the Health Care Bill from leaving Congress. It's being sent BACK to the House, AGAIN!
Full Story: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/25/health.care.main/index.html?hpt=T1

So let's see if the democrats are REALLY willing to try to pass it again. My hope is that reality sets in for them and realizes that they got to re-work the health care bill again and make it better. We're watching Congress closely again.

Meanwhile, Senator Stupak is in trouble in his own hometown. Link:http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/24/stupak.criticism/index.html?hpt=T1
While he may look unbeatable in the coming elections, but he will fall out of power one day. Unless Senator Stupak changes his vote, he may never win some future elections after this season.

Let's see how it will get "better" in Congress this week. Maybe Obama will soon realize that he signed that law too soon.

Aftermath of the two historical days.

G"day Everyone.

After two days of historical moments in our nation, we wonder how these remaining days of Obama will be like. The country is getting to a big divide that could threaten to dissolve the union as it has been, a United States.
Right now, the Senate has to vote. If the Senate says "Mr. President and House of Representatives: VETO! You are BOTH WRONG!", you can expect a battle to happen in the Senate. Let's hope the Senate can CHANGE Obama's health care better than it has happened in the House.

Meanwhile, a friend of mine picked up an article. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/mar/23/obamacare-for-everyone-but-obama/
IF the Washington Times is correct about everyone else but President Obama of getting his own health care insurance through the policy he creates, then we got major trouble brewing!!

Don't think of our nation ever being normal again this year. We are in for change. Not certainly a better change than we'd like to have.

But take a prayer from now on. This is going to be needed for this nation of ours.

Breaking News: Health Care Becomes Law!

G'day Everyone.

In a final insult to all Americans that DON'T want this Health Care Bill, President Obama has, with all the Democrats with him in the room as I watched on CNN, signed the Health Care Bill into LAW.

In sense, President Obama has signed his presidency to just ONE TERM and then he exits away in 2 years. For the Democrats, they're watching all their careers fall apart and fully know that they can expect some angry voters that will want them expelled from their office during the spring and fall elections. Some of Penn State's own political people, like many other states are doing, are already fighting for their political life as Penn State joins a lawsuit with other states to STOP HEALTH CARE from becoming law completely.

President Obama will take this new law on the road, only he's going to find it to be a tough sell. Every Democrat should have big regrets right now. If they had taken an opportunity to re-work the law before the final vote, they would have a better chance of making it better. Now, it may never ever happen at all.

Democrats in Congress must now expect more fighting for many more months with the republicans. It will be a very bitter end to this Congressional year.

Let us defeat Health Care. Tell congress to repeal it and then re do it or be voted out of office!

More info going on.

G'day Everyone.

There's more going on. If you want to get to the heart of the matter, go to this site:
http://www.congress.org/

My friend, James, tells me this site breaks down all the issues about heath care. There is one major FLAW of the health care bill: You will be MANDATED to BUY health care. If you don't, it adds a PENALTY OF TAX ON YOUR TAXES AT TAX TIME! This is one of the major reasons why this bill is flawed.

Lawsuit update:http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/22/health.care.lawsuit/index.html?hpt=T1

10 states are taking congress to court to STOP Health Care from becoming a full law. Who are the 10 states? Florida, Alabama, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Washington (not Washington,DC. Washington state). These states are drawing major battle lines against Obama. I hope they win their case!

As Obama prepares to sign the new Health Care Law, he better be chain smoking much more harder now because the rest of the congressional year is going to get more messier than before. He promised to quit smoking. But I doubt that'll happen now.
Will it be worth it all for him or not? But he had better be praying in his presidential chapel daily more than before now. The democrats will be judged this SPRING and FALL elections. We will PUNT THEM OUT OF OFFICE and OUT OF POWER!

As I close this post, enjoy this deaf youtube movie joke about TTYs. Yes be thankful we have ttys. But don't be offended for the way we choose to "recycle" our TTYs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w21pZcfyw0Q&feature=related (movie is called "Thank Goodness I still have my TTY!").

"Baby Killer" Shout replaces "YOU LIED!"

G'day Everyone.

The political fallout from the whole Health Care mess has begun. Rep. Joe Wilson has to smile to himself right now that he's stood up to President Obama.
Now, it's someone else standing up to Congress with a new phrase: "Baby Killer". Who did it?
Check this out: http://www.aolnews.com/politics/article/who-called-bart-stupak-baby-killer/19409039

It's none other than: Rep. Randy Neugebauer!! I kind of praise this guy. He had guts to say it clearly about how all of us feel of how the Democrats have pushed this whole Health Care Bill into being passed.
Now the question is: Will the Health Care Bill survive the Senate vote? Let's hope the Political men and women of the Senate think very carefully before they vote. Their political future is already on the line. If they vote to pass it, their political careers will be at an end just as well.

For those wanting to know how they voted: http://www.aolnews.com/healthcare/article/how-did-your-representative-vote-on-health-care/19409554?icid=mainmaindl1link3http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aolnews.com%2Fhealthcare%2Farticle%2Fhow-did-your-representative-vote-on-health-care%2F19409554

Those who voted yes will be on the defense for their days to come this election season. Those who voted NO will have a slim chance of winning but yet, try to be honest with the people who voted them there in the first place.

Right now, all focus is on the Senate. It's not over yet. By the time the Senate votes, it will either live on to be signed into law or DIE on the Senate floor. My hope is that it should DIE on the senate floor.

Good luck, Senate Political men and women. America's future is now in your hands.

Health Care Aftermath

G'day Everyone.

It's the day after the night of history. As I watched the President and Vice President looking so giddy on TV, they do not realize that their downfall has just begun.
All across America, social war has begun. The fight to save USA from the Democrats of Congress has just begun. They wanted this war. They got it now.

Obama thinks everyone will accept this New Health Care plan. Unfortunately, he's wrong on this. It will be a long fight before the fat pig of congress squeals it's dying breath and that the democrats realize their mistake.
Look at Politics daily: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/03/22/health-care-reform-all-over-but-the-shouting/?icid=mainaimdl1link4http%3A%2F%2Fwww.politicsdaily.com%2F2010%2F03%2F22%2Fhealth-care-reform-all-over-but-the-shouting%2F

It's clear the shouts are coming. The first one immediately landed last night!! Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/22/stupak.shout/index.html?hpt=Sbin
It wasn't the infamous "YOU LIED" at President Obama. No, this shout became more clear. The moments after the health care bill, it was directed at Senator Stupak who was speaking. The shout was: "BABY KILLER" because there is abortion funding directed in the recently passed Health Care Bill.

Let's be clear from here on out. The shouts will NOT die down until the Democrats are gone from Power. The shouts will NOT die down till Obama is replaced as President. (and we reject biden too!). Every congressional person must now face their home states and brave the shouts that come at them. They will be voted out. They're only staying in office on borrowed time till the election hour strikes.

It is a sad day here in America. But for those Democrats: YOU ALL HAVE LIED!!
The final hope should be in God that he will work a true miracle and reach down and tell Obama NOT to sign this bill into law. But it should be left alone without his signature. It'll be law anyhow.

God help save USA.

Breaking News: Health Care Bill passes in Congress.

G'day Everyone!

I am awake, late at night and watching c-span for the first time in many years. I'm sure many Americans light up their TVs, Computers, and other devices to watch the vote happen.
Once more, the United States Congress has passed a bill by a vote, late at night instead of the day, and ready to be made in to law by President Obama.

As I watched... The house Passed the Senate Health care amendment by a vote of 219 to 212. Almost all of the democrats supported it. Those few democrats and all Republicans said NO!

As the final vote comes in on the House Reconciliation bill, every democrat is watching their own career fall apart. Phone lines are going to be lit up. Voters will be angry. By the time the Spring and Fall Elections happens, no such promises of an incumbent political person in the office of congress will ever survive. President Obama is going to have an early mid-term political crisis. A political firestorm of voters so angry, every democrat will have to fight for their political life. But their political life is already over.
Update: Final vote came to 220 yes and 211 NO.
Say hello to our official socialist government run by Obama!

By the time I vote in the Spring Elections and the Fall Elections, I'm going to vote in a NEW Political person. A new senate and house political person. I'm going to take back our country. This isn't the "Change, we can" signed up for. This is NOT our way of life. If we are in for a social war, then count me in. I oppose this health care bill. I oppose the democrats that voted it.

So President Obama, here is what the American people say to you: You want a mid-term political firestorm of your presidency, then by George (no, not you George Bush! *bushie boy walks away*) by George you got it. By the time voters vote out all your political mainstays of your party, you will find out what President Bush faced in his term. You, sir, are officially a ONE-TERM, count on it, ONE-TERM PRESIDENT! In 2012, Who ever is going to be our next President, he will SAVE THIS COUNTRY and UNDO all your policies Obama! Count on it!

I stand for America! Semper FI for AMERICA! Support America! Take back America from Obama now!

So, I looked further and checked the www.rit.edu site itself for more info. Nothing. Whoever is running the orangebrownrit site on blogspot needs to do a through link of the process. April 19th may be nothing.

Please be rest assured. There will be a memorial for Ellie Rosenfield. It's just not all planned out. I do expect NTID and RIT will make a joint announcement along with University of Rochester. We're all sad that she passed away. Please continue to pray for her family.

An issue bigger than Health Care: Illegal Immigration!

G'day Everyone!

Oh Gosh.. if this wasn't the bad news of the year, it's about to get worse! Health Care Debate and it's possible vote in the coming days is just one firestorm that won't quit. Here's a NEW firestorm that will most likely engulf the nation in the coming days about Congress and President Obama.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/mar/18/obama-endorses-immigration-blueprint/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_must-read-stories-today

Now, if Obama plans to legalize the illegal immigrants that are already here, it will create a flood of low cost cheap labor for employers. This would be bad for the American Citizens. If Congress was to consider it, this year's general elections in the spring and fall won't just be dull. It will fire up the American people to really toss out many of the congressional people that have been in there TOO LONG!

Let's face it. Obama is going to be ONE term and then he's gone. Our nation will be broke and fighting within itself over "new" Americans. The illegal immigrants should be taken back to their country and told to come the legal way. But if Obama gets his way, many of the states may no longer want to be a UNITED America and split into many smaller USA like nations.

Health care will be one firestorm beyond Obama's term. So will his Illegal immigrant be another firestorm that will never die out either.
Is this the change we sought in Obama? I don't think so. Perhaps the democrats will wish they never supported him now.

Semper FI.

The Health Care Debate will NEVER be over..

Until the PORK FAT of Congress comes to an end!

G'day Everyone.

The Health Care Debate or rather, the Health Care Bill nightmare will never be over. Not by a long shot for generations to come. Why?

Link:
http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/insurance/even-if-health-care-reform-passes-the-fights-wont-stop/19405730/
and
http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2010/03/politics/health.care.votes/index.html?hpt=T2

The Health Care Bill has become a political firestorm for the coming years. Was this the proper time of recession for a President like Obama to suggest this? I don't think so.
But the second link is going to be very important for voters to watch of this upcoming election season. For those who vote "yes" will be on the defensive side politically in this election season. Even those who vote yet, but retire at the end of this congressional year will be hounded in their retirement days to come. Would they be filled with regret? Perhaps.
As we go into count down mode to the big vote, the debates rages on. What will kill it?
Perhaps the only way to kill the debate is that congress considers killing it' own pork fat bills for good. Pork fat = earmarks.

Obama is just one term. This will be his great legacy for his life. Good luck President Obama. In 2.5 years, we hope to vote a better president in the office.

The Madness Weekend Continues

G'day Everyone!

The madness weekend continues as it will for the next few weeks. The bars will be packed. Every TV tuned to watching the Basketball games ever so closely. More importantly, refs of the NCAA will make mistakes that will be complained often. So, do I have any favorites this year? I don't think so. But I'm going to wait till it's down to 8 and then predict who could win it all. I suspect some nationally known school will do it. I miss that George Mason University that could have win it all before. Oh well.

The next few weeks will be busy around my home. Spring cleaning is in full swing this year. This weekend could be one last COLD OLD MAN WINTER attack before Spring finally happens. In fact, Spring arrives tomorrow! After that, hopefully the weather pattern changes and the season gets warm. Last week, the trees that were in front of my yard were taken down because of disease. The stumps were removed completely. The township did that with a POWER GRINDER! I thought they'd yank it out. oh well. I thought if they yank it out, they'd replace our side walk. Fat chance! It's nice to wish about it. :-)

So for many people braving this last cold weekend, HANG IN THERE! SPRING IS ON THE WAY!

Last thing: I haven't said much about my theater stuff lately, but here's what I do know. Hearing theater is a lot different than deaf theater. Hearing theater 1 month prep time. Deaf theater 2 month prep time. Big difference. Same time, it was way different to learn the warm up routines as well. Would I get into another play again? I don't know yet. Going to take one step at a time.

Anyhow, enjoy the weekend.

March Madness has begun!

G'day Everyone.

March Madness 2010. Yep, it's basketball season again. It's the time with many teams will battle to pare right down to who'll be the numeral uno (one) in college basketball. A good thing, right? For some reason, I'm not really excited to watch the games. But I know some of you are. I could make a bet with some friends and hope I pick the right winner. But, that won't happen much for me.

As the games get underway, it's going to be a nice conclusion to college basketball season. In less than a few weeks more, baseball season begins. Will the Philadelphia Phillies have done the right thing in the off season? Only time will tell.

I love how the NY Giants and NY Jets are fighting it out about the new Stadium they built together. a "marriage" made in NFL. Only that it proves that there's a few thorny issues for those two teams. I think the NFL should have done better. The only way to open a proper NFL season between these two teams is to let them play each other in a preseason game and let them duke it out for the right to host the regular opening season game. It's too bad it won't happen. It's already decided that Giants will open the new stadium on a Sunday game while the Jets host on a Monday night football.

Meanwhile, as the fall out from the last Superbowl continues, NFL is about to make changes to the overtime rules and if happens, it would be a fair game. Link: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/football/nfl/03/17/nfl.overtime.ap/index.html
The NFL draft is coming up soon. Will my favorite teams get good players? I hope so.

The week is suppose to conclude into cold and snow again. Old man winter wants to make one last statement before Spring happens. (ugh). But cheer up! Spring happens on SATURDAY!

I hope you had a fun Wednesday! Happy (belated) St. Paddy's day! (yeah, you can pinch me).

Health Care Happens?!

G'day Everyone.

Today's Opinion: Health Care. Politically, Washington, DC's Congress is about to vote on a health care package that could make or break the entire union of the United States of America. Many people are angry that we could have a new flawed system that could really kill more people than saving lives out there. Many are worried what is about to happen.

Here's a take on politics daily, Link: http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/03/16/ingrid-martin-channels-joe-the-plumber-debates-obama-after-heal/?icid=mainmaindl1link3http%3A%2F%2Fwww.politicsdaily.com%2F2010%2F03%2F16%2Fingrid-martin-channels-joe-the-plumber-debates-obama-after-heal%2F

The latest vote count on the Health care: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/16/house.vote.count/index.html?hpt=T2

Basically, it boils down to this: If those in the political offices of congress that have lived there for many years and making laws in their favor or oppose of the law, they got really two options left in their office.

Option 1: If they vote NO on health care and it gets defeated (totally), they may be able to win their seat at the coming elections by listening to the voters, but could incur the wrath of President Obama because they betrayed him. That would be their first risk to take.

However, there is a more DANGEROUS risk to their political lives of this health care vote.

Option 2: If they vote YES and health care gets passed, here is what will happen: They will earn the Praise of President Obama. They'll party a bit in Congress. They'll explain how the whole bill works in "favor" of the American People. But those that voted YES will be DOOMED at the Election times. These poor political people that voted yes will have to go back to their home states and face the voters, who will call them "YOU LIED", "TRAITOR". and being voted OUT OF THEIR OFFICES FOR GOOD.
Once they are voted out and the newcomer political people get in, there's no doubt that there will be a fight to reverse health care or make it better.

The future of our nation's health is already at a risk of time. President Obama could well be a ONE-TERM President if this Health Care bill passes. If it does pass, the democrats lose big time votes and the future of their political party.
Will this become a cause for new political parties to spring up and get voted into Congress? I think it's high time we break up his two political power houses in congress in favor of a new political party: Either the Tea party or the Coffee Party. This will be an interesting Spring elections. The Fall 2010 elections are going to be a BIG interest to see what happens. This will be Obama's Mid-term markings and he could fail before it's all counted. So we'll see.

Coffee Party vs Tea Party

G'day Everyone.

Welll, it had to happen! Link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/03/13/coffee.party/index.html?hpt=T2

There is now a Coffee Party that is trying to be better or equal to the Tea Party. If these two were to merge together, just call it "The Brew Party". I think they're all high strung on the caffeines in the drinks.
But if both of these NEW political party were to make waves on to the Ballots to battle with the rest of the political people, it would be nice to see a true and diverse new elections this year.

But rest assured, the coffee party and the tea party are the just beginnings of a new political life in this nation. It's high time we have a lawmaker of a diverse background!

Read this: http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/03/09/newark.airport.kisser/index.html?hpt=T2

I'm angry. As a traveller, this isn't justice! This guy, who has had a lawyer for him, begged that his client plead to a lesser charge!! I'm pissed. This is NO JUSTICE for a guy who has caused an inconvenience for many people in that incident!

I call upon the Federal Government to charge this guy with the proper laws the should apply to him! He caused a MAJOR security scare. He scared a lot of people. Yes, he's GUILTY for it. He shouldn't be allowed to stay in the country for something he stupidly did!!

But if the judge is going to hand this guy with a *LIGHT SLAP* on his wrist, then I recommend that this guy stand in the Newark New Jersey airport terminal with a LARGE SIGN that says " I'm sorry I caused the Jan 2010 security scare" as part of his probation pleas. He should stay there every day for a full month from 4am in the morning to 12 am night. He should face the wrath of many passengers and be very shame faced and say over and over again "I'm sorry" for one full month.

After that.. he should be forced to take AMTRAK for the next 5 years. Good luck to him to try to get on his next flight. I'd bet you TSA will look him over VERY CAREFULLY and then give him an escort not to go anywhere else in the airport if he tries to fly!

As for his girl friend? Let's hope she reconsiders her decision to marry this troublesome, love struck guy permanently!

Beware the Ides of March!

G'day Everyone!

Personally, March happens to be one of my most cautious months in my life. Here's some of the reasons why:
Link: http://news.holidash.com/2010/03/08/beware-the-ides-of-march-its-coming/?icid=mainmaindl3link6http%3A%2F%2Fnews.holidash.com%2F2010%2F03%2F08%2Fbeware-the-ides-of-march-its-coming%2F

As if right on cue today, the ides of march has already started. I have lost a long time friend of mine. He has been stabbing me in the back for ages while he has continued to be a friend of mine. I never suspect him of all the things in my life while he was my roommate long ago. People told me and warned me. I didn't want to believe he would turn on me. But he has. He has in a religious nut way of his own making.

So today, last rough words were said via email. Friendship was cut off and cast away. I felt like I've pulled a long wicked sword right out of my back. It's been there for too long. It's an awful long sword that has *BETRAYAL* written all over it. I felt like I have tried to be a TRUE friend to him. I saved his life, twice. What to I get? Betrayal. It's an ugly and bitter truth.

Well, I've tossed that sword away. I can forgive my friend. But it's going to take a long while for me to forget about him being a part of my life. Why we were friends for so long, I don't know. I'm moving on in life without my friend. I hope and pray other friends are real to me as they are honestly. But if I find out another person has stabbed me in the back as well, there's no telling what I will do.

Be honest and be real to the people you make friends with. Don't stab them in the back for any reason. Even if it's for a promotion at work, or looking favorable to others, or whatever what reason it is. It's not worth to stab someone in the back.

If you do stab some one in the back (intentional or unintentional) and if that person ever finds out of what you did to them, you will pay an awful price and you better hope to God that you are a dead person already before you get found out!

Today, my friend has paid his own price. Will he acknowledge it? I doubt that he will. I have already "BURIED" my friend. I have already cried and grieved. I move on. I hope there will be other people more friendly to me.

Tower C should be re-named!

G'day Everyone.

Not a moment has gone by before she's buried, but Ellie Rosenfield has made an impact on the Rochester NY Deaf and NTID community out there. She cared a lot about her friends and co-workers. She was named of a foundation set up for her. But I felt it was not enough of that kind of an honor for her work.

Then I remember how we, NTID students and alumni, all fought to get the name of the Alexander Graham Bell off the NTID Dorm Tower C before the last reunion. It successfully came down. The dorm was renamed as Building 50C. Now, the 50C has sat unnamed for a long while.

I felt I had to take a page from the facebook forum that was set up to honor Ellie Rosenfield. There was a lot of discussion going on.

Here I want to make an official proposal: Tower C (building 50C) should be renamed to : The Ellie Rosenfield Tower. I think this should be our memorial building for her because of her work among all of us.

Post a comment. Tell me what do you think? Let me know.

Thanks.

update: I kind of knew the Orange and brown coalitation would run with my post as their own. I have no complaints! I want Ellie Rosenfield's name on Tower C! Let's make it happen!

Sherlock Steve.

The passing of another friend.

G'day Everyone.

First, there is a passing of a friend of mine, whom I did not keep in touch with very much. When I learned of her passing yesterday due to cancer, I realized I had known her long ago after I looked at an old picture of her.
There is a journal story about her cancer treatment. Link: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ellierosenfield.
RIT/NTID's own announcement: http://www.ntid.rit.edu/media/full_text.php?article_id=1205

The sad thing is, she had passed away yesterday afternoon. Word was going out in FB, and some personal emails. I didn't know until a friend of mine, an NTID alumni, told me. When I realized her passing, it took me by surprise. My prayer is that I hope she passed away peacefully. Good bye Ellie Rosenfield. You are and were a passionate and loyal friend to all of us in the NTID and Deaf Community of Rochester area. You will be missed.

Semper FI.

On a personal note to some "Christian" friends of mine: You mean well to talk to me about my personal life. But please, don't bring religion into it. I have been hurt by "many well meaning people" long ago, who had some "God-led intentions" that had a bad impact upon me and themselves, and have no desire to hurt others back again.

Even if you say "God is punishing you for what you are", I will promise you that you will find yourself to be no longer a friend of mine right on the spot before you can say "I'm sorry for having said that".
I have made some choices in my life and they are the result of the changes YOU FORCED upon me long ago.
Please, be my friend and let me be who I was meant/want to be. I love someone in my life and I will defend that person very much. If you can't accept of who I am, then you have not been the person I knew you before.

Thank you.

Best IDEA in snow shoveling!

G'day Everyone!

If these people have a great idea to sell this to everyone in the snow belt states, they'd make a lot of money!

Look: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=tPg1ZMiC9pA

Yes, folks.. ROBOPLOW is the answer of the future! If it ever sells, people just may buy it. Who knows?

Enjoy.

Bad mood? Bad day? Sullen?

G'day Everyone.

Some people have a bad mood. Some have a bad day. Some people are downright sullen. Put them all together and it's a dark emotional crowd that just spreads out and affects everyone else around them. Ugly, isn't it?

Well, I have something to say about it. I used to have room mates and good friends in my college days of who we used to bounce off each other. Our custom was to allow that person to have a bad day or a two and give a respectful distance. When we feel time's up, it would be our time to take action. We'd do the tickle attack and tickle them until they say "UNCLE!". Or take them right out for an evening of an entertainment and get them to crack a smile and make them forget about their bad moods. Some times it's a risky thing to do, but hey when they know you mean good intentions, they can appreciate that you care about them.

But what can you do across the miles away from your friend who's having a bad day? Not much. Maybe a card, sending up a prayer. VP them 3-4 days later when they say they've been in a bad mood. Check up on them. Make sure they're all right. Talk to them.

I do appreciate and thank many of my past ro0m mates and friends who have helped me with my bad mood days and I do think of them and pray that their own bad moods will lift from them. Some times I'll try to email them a joke or send a letter of concern. Some times I'll even call on the VP.

Don't have long bad moods or bad days. Don't be sullen either. Life is too precious to let that happen. Remember to thank your friends who care about you.

Enjoy your week.

MORE VRS providers PLEAD GUILTY!

G'day Everyone!

Breaking News! This is HOT coming across the 'net. 4 more VRS owners and their employees have PLEADED GUILTY! LINK: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2010/03/four_admit_25m_fraud_that_targ.html

Should this make John Yeh and his defendants concerned about their upcoming trial later? I would bet so! As the Government in various states are offering plea deals as long as the co-defendants plead guilty, I would be expecting them to show up at the main court trial later.

Recently, Sorenson has sent a Video log to many of their users to explain clearly about the recent FCC ruling that came out recently. If you own a Sorenson VP, check your video list to see if you have the recent recording.

But one thing is clear. As smaller VRS providers may be going out of business, I would think and feel that Purple VRS might be on the verge of going out of business too.

So keep on top of this. We may learn more about other VRS owners and employees either willing to defend Yeh or taking the government guilty plea in exchange for testimony. Court trial will be huge soon.

Is it over for Gov. Paterson?

G'day Everyone.

It seems the political hands are on the walls around Gov. Paterson office. They're writing his formal end. But the problem is, he can't see it!

So here's what's being said about his term:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100305/ap_on_re_us/us_ny_governor

Will things get worse for Gov. Paterson? Or will he be able to ride out the wave up till the October 2010 elections?

I hate to say it. Governor Paterson is going out in the same way the last Governor did. The best thing that Governor Paterson should do now is resign while he still can.

Death of a Internet program!

G'day Everyone.

Once in a while, there's something funny on the 'net and it's technical related.
http://www.cnn.com/2010/TECH/03/04/ie6.funeral/index.html?hpt=T2

When I heard about the Internet Explorer6 having it's "funeral", I laughed. But like they say: It's going to be a HARD SUCKER to kill. *LAUGHING* We all thought the same way about Apple Computers.

We all thought it was rotten to the core and was about to die. But surprise! It has bounced back and now it's gone toe-to-toe with the PCs. Some of the PC people have said "It's a tough sucker to kill too". I admit I had my doubts about Apple Computers. I even grew up on them. But now I'm a PC person. I'm actually a DELL fan. But would I ever go back to Apple? I dunno. Very tempting for me. Give me a chance to think about it.

But as for the funeral for IE6? Let's hope the legacy of it lives on. It's children of IE7 and IE8 will do much better than IE6.

Returning to the stage!

G'day Everyone.

The lights come on. The curtain rises. Comes out on stage is...Sherlock Steve?! Well, it's true! I am making a return to theater. It's not the Deaf Theater of which I want to be in. But, I'm a play. A hearing community league theater play to be exact in my hometown.
This past Sunday night became the point of change in my life in the moment when I decided I'd go out and try for a part in a play called "The Reluctant Dragon". Apparently I did well enough to get a small part of play. I may well be the first deaf actor on a hearing team of players. What's my big contribution? My voice. I must have made a good impression on the director to get this part.

So for the next several weeks, I got lines to remember, rehearsals, and getting to know the theater. I'm in for a fun and new experience. The last time I was on stage was back in my NTID days. I always hoped I'd return to the stage. I wanted to be on stage when I was at Gallaudet. But my enjoyment to be on a football team and helping around the field house kept me from that. I don't mind it.

I've finally made it back to the stage. Even if it was to get a small part. I will be documenting the experience here and share you all a good story. Heck, I'm going to find out if I can get interpreters for the play this time. If I do, I'll let you all know.

Thanks Mr. Cushman for teaching me theater. I have never forgotten you.

The Lion has arrived!

G'...(wind)...day....(wind)....every...(wind)...one!

I'm trying to hold on to my desk! Finally shut the window! *bam!* It's so windy out there it's obviously March 1st, 2010! The Lion of the weather has arrived! Wow! How soon will it be Spring? Almost at anytime when the weather pattern shifts soon. So hang on to those coats and boots. It will warm up soon!

Meanwhile, Canada will be in a little hockey dog house for a while with USA. So will the refs who were on the ice. How many calls were BLOWN that Sunday afternoon? One too many. I'm betting when those refs sit down and look over the long hockey tape, they're going to wish they had done better. But history will judge them rough. Canada will have to be a bit more kinder to the USA hockey team for a while.
For the women's hockey team? Me thinks that their gold medals ought to be stripped from them at the moment they stepped back on the ice in full public view (despite the building was empty) with cigars and beers and continued their celebration that started in the locker rooms. That was the most unhealthful and disgusting thing to see. Despite their public apologies, those women hockey players better go cold turkey on smoking and drinking for awhile.
The next time Canada hockey team faces USA team again, they better be prepared to go home more black and blue than before. That said, an ambulance better be standing outside the hockey rink!!

With the Winter Olympics over for another 4 years, it will be quiet for a while. As the world turns back to solve their problems, we all turn back our attention to focus on our own problems in the nation.

Thankfully, the dreaded Tsunami didn't happen too badly recently. But we should take warnings seriously. We all have been fortunate in the world and should thank God for it. Continue to pray for the people of Chile. Recovery efforts will take a while.

till next post.
