G'day Everyone!
Kick back into Gear! The first Friday of the month of September is here! Whoo hoo! What could be MORE excitement than that? Actually, I'm jealous of all the DPHHers that are out there and having fun on this Friday nite in DC area.
Gustav has missed my home and gone on to tangle up the people in Canada. Ahh well. That's prolly a good thing. Every one's on alert here for Hurricane Hannah and Ike. We're all in a watch for the storms to happen. Yick! Give me the rain, but leave the winds else where!
I'm having fun this weekend. Two carnivals to go to and possible go to a movie.
However, back on the subject of NTID, it's clear that more than a few individuals are considering of filing a lawsuit against NTID over the use of the Social Security numbers. I am not surprised of their decision on that. Will it work? Can they convince their lawyers to file it and turn it into a class action lawsuit? I don't know.
But I stand by of what I said before: I want that NTID employee, who was responsible for the laptop, to be FIRED immediately. This is something that NTID has to show responsibility for it's own staff members. At the same time, I do hope RIT Campus Safety and the Monroe County sheriffs will do a good investigation and arrest the person or persons who've stolen that laptop and are using it. When that person(s) does get caught, I hope they will face the anger of the entire deaf community and hopefully give a reason WHY they stole it. But given to the level of what they did, they have broken our security of our NTID. It will be ages before NTID regains it's full trust and sense of security again.
Ok.. now that I got that out of my system, it's time to focus on the weekend. Whatever you be a student or one of those professional workers, kick back for 48 hours. Enjoy your weekend. But by 7pm Sunday, we'll all be ready for another week.
Unless the hurricanes messes up things, like Football for the GU Bisons or for the Nittany Lions of PSU, there will be another day for pigskin to be played.
Semper FI....for now.

The latest "rumor" I heard is a caller drilled to get the answer from the hotline. One of them spilled the bean.... he/she said that the laptop was LOCKED as in a LOCKED office.
I don't know if it is true but if it s true then it must be inside job with lot of plan...... not exactly Ocean 11, 12, 13.. but you know how it is
