Old Parking Tickets from the 1960's, 1970's? Watch out!

G'day Everyone.

Good gravies!! Cities are SO cash strapped, they're scraping the legal barrel and guess the new revenue generator? OLD PARKING TICKETS!!

This is NOT fun at all. It comes down to legal issues that will involve more court fights and eventually, some one's going to owe money to the winner! (hint, it's not the cities if the ticket gets dismissed, but it's more of the lawyers!)

This is one of the signs of the economic downturn in which cities are hurting people who have moved away long ago and telling them to come back "home" and pay for parking tickets they owe in which they ignored of.

One of the worst things are kids. They're the ones who steal parking tickets for fun and not realize that they're committing ID theft and really making trouble, not only for the car owner and for the city, but for themselves as well.

I hope you don't any old parking ticket or moving violations, but when you get a ticket or moving violation, pay it or fight it as soon as possible.
