Yankees fall, Texas marked!

G'day Everyone.

It was a bad night in Baseball. Everyone's favorite and most hated team, New York Yankees, fell to the Texas Rangers last night. It caused bartenders to immediately stop serving drinks, call police, and generally sort out the many bar fights that went on. It caused people who were once friends become instant enemies. Police were busy last night in going to many disturbances. A few places had a riot or a two happen.

So did Texas Rangers do an overkill? Yes. It was poor sportsmanship. A friend of mine, who lives in Texas, was at the game. He stayed through the post-game celebrations and watched everything going on. We burned up the text posts on my cell phone. Post by post, he told me what was going on. The most intense drama ever heard.

For the Yankees, they knew exactly what was going to happen. Moments after the under reported handshakes, they quickly left the stadium after all the post game interviews were over and under police escorts. Some of the NYC fans were reported to make open threats on the rangers if they ever came to NYC next season. (Not surprising).

And of course, there are calls for MLB to investigate if the umpires at the Yankees/Rangers were certified independent and unbiased because it looked like they gave the game right to Texas.

On Facebook, reaction was divided. It shows who's who for Texas and Yankees. It was pretty ugly.
As of the present, Texas Rangers are in their first world series. While it may be good for the Rangers, they have to do some nice PR work right now to really show some apology to the Yankees fans. Maybe lose the first game in the World series or two.

At the present moment and later tonight, fate will decide of which team is going to the world series: Philadelphia Phillies or the San Francisco Giants. The Giants just need one win. The Phillies need to win tonight and force game 7. The Giants would rather make a good drama and let game 7 happen. So it's possible. However, security will be tight at the Phillies baseball park. Last Tuesday's Giants win, especially in the last inning at bat, was a very controversial moment. It gave Giants reason to be careful on Thursday night and let Philadelphia win. Crowding the plate should be made illegal. Hitting the catcher with the baseball bat should also be illegal and cause for an automatic ejection too. That's why Tuesday night's game was so controversial at the end.

Tonight, security will be very high. The mood is very ugly and fans angry at the Giants. I should say the fans of Philly will be rabid. So, should the Giants win, they better get ready to get out of Philly fast as possible and back home. It won't be pretty. If Philly wins and forces game 7 on Sunday in Philly, that's when it'll be the biggest game next to the world series.

Whatever happens tonight, I say God help the Phillies. They wanted the Yankees. But may be now, Texas will be beatable for the Phillies. But if the Giants win? May California sink next.

Just hope the rest of the Baseball season goes by fast so everyone can stop being enemies and be friends again.
And sadly to say, Yankees just might have to get rid of some unproductive players this year.

I already knew before game 6 that
the NY Yankees were going to fall
to the Texas Rangers. NY Yankees
was no match against the Texas
Rangers including Cliff Lee.
The Texas Rangers should be
able to beat the SF Giants. Good
thing that Barry Bond isn't playing
for the SF Giants. He would not
even help the team no matter what.

Just remember, Jim.. Texas is going to have to walk carefully in NYC. Same for the Giants in Philly, next year. Both cities will be angry enough at their nemisis. It will be an ugly game next year.
