Happy 2nd year SHERLOCK!

G'day Everyone!

It is the 2nd anniversary of THE DEAF SHERLOCK on Blogspot.com. I had hoped that by this day, I would be at my 500th post by now. Unfortunately, life gets busy at times and some days, I don't even post when I don't have any material to use. Normally I would celebrate, but I refuse to do so and just wanted to let you all know that it's 2 years since I restored this blog and transferred it from Xanga.com As I've said before, the security is better and so are the defenses.

Sadly, Pittsburgh Steelers lost yesterday. But the Eagles won. I just heard that my friend's beloved baseball team, The NEW YORK YANKEES have won their title again by beating their nemesis team: The Boston Red Soxs. What a sweet game! The Philadelphia Phillies are closing in on their own title and could have it later this week. We got a HOT OCTOBER POST BASEBALL SEASON coming up! This is going to get WAY INTERESTING!!

Don't forget to go to Bloomsburg Fair this week in Bloomsburg, PA! It's the annual State of PA Fair! I went to it today with my sister Debbie Scott. We are tired but did a lot of walking, even in the rain! The Fair is very much interesting this year. Lots of shows, games, and of course FOOD! My sister Debbie said "Here at the Fair, there a real possibility that you can eat yourself to the death here!". I have to concur with that very much. So I checked myself wisely. But you can't miss the Top of the Beef pit, A seafood shack (ahh 2 dozen clams), and don't forget the best ice cream in the whole fair place, The Penn State Creamery!

So take some time this week and GO to the Bloomsburg Fair in Bloomsburg, PA! One *WARNING* and suggestion, wear some OLD walking shoes because most of the parking lots right now is a SEA OF MUD! *ick!*

And as we hit the middle of the week, The last finalist candidate for the President of Gallaudet University will be speaking at Gallaudet University on September 30th and October 1st, 2009.
Dr. Alan Hurwitz will be on campus both days. After that, the entire community of Gallaudet Community (including the alumni) will be voting. Let's hope the best choice gets selected.

If you haven't voted in the poll above this post, VOTE NOW!

Have a great SEMPER FI day!
