Political things of Today.

G'day Everyone!

Well, it's a political note day. It's an August 2009 mess for many political people. Namely those who serve in Congress and in the State Congress. What I do know is this:

Top Story: The Obama administration ought to be listening very closely to what the people are saying to many of the political representatives: "WE DON'T WANT FEDERAL HEALTH CARE INSURANCE!". If you have seen many of the town hall meetings on the CNN, it's brutal! One local lawmaker, I'm not using his name, has gotten concerned for his life. He doesn't like what's going on. The Obama Health care Crisis could play a very pivotal role in the upcoming fall elections across the nation. We could see many of these long time political people booted out in favor of NEW people in the offices. I'd say it's about damn time it happens.

Lately, The PA State Budget has not yet passed. It's still an on-going battle. Many of the state's political people are also at risk to lose their jobs in this Fall elections. Will the upcoming challengers be successful? I'd say watch carefully out there. Anything can happen anywhere.

Political boy, Micah Brown, my favorite political writer has been laying low these days. He hasn't written a post for a while. But don't worry, folks. He'll come back to post again on the 'net soon. Right now he's very busy in his life and he's doing what he has to do. Good Luck, Micah!

A friend of mine has asked me to report that he's been hit by ID Theft as well. He's asked me to re post the info that I have on my blog here. So here it is: http://thedeafsherlock.blogspot.com/2008/09/when-id-theft-hits-home.html

This is at a time I ask people to go to my previous blog about ID Theft in the above link. The stolen NTID laptop has yet to be resolved and finding out who has it so the person can be sued for all the criminal activity that person has done. As I encourage you, make sure your computers are secured and that your passwords are complex (but easy for you) so that your ID remains secure. Just make sure your credit reports have a fraud alert put on them so that you don't get burned for something you didn't do.

Little League World Series (LLWS) is just about to hit my town next week. Most of the teams are already starting to arrive for Fresh Air camping and getting settled into the area for a temporary time. There's going to be a very interesting Little League Baseball game going on. ESPN and ESPN2 are expected to be here. Rumor has it that President Obama might come to throw out the first ball, but I told people who say those rumors: "He's too damn busy defending himself from the health care crisis.". So that being said, life goes on.

A lot of rumors are floating around about the GU Presidential Search Process. I'm ignoring what's happening but I'm praying that many of the people who work on the PSAC for GU will be picking the RIGHT candidates who will replace current Gallaudet University President Davila. But the only thing I should say that PSAC should get the Gallaudet Alumni involved more so that there is total support in our GU community. This is very important time right now.

College Football season is about to start soon! The Bisons (GU) and Nittany Lions (PSU) will soon be in their football camps and preparing for a season that should be good one. Will both teams have a successful season? We'll soon find out.

As summer winds down, people are preparing for the fall season. Many drivers ought to be on the look out for that yellow school bus. Be careful out there. For the college students, I wish them the best as they try to find financial help to pay for the classes.

So have a great weekend.

Semper FI!
