GIFT AWAY!

G'day Everyone!

What's a gift? A gift is a present. Usually it's given to you on your birthday and Christmas. Some times special ones on valentine's day.

But what makes it a gift when it's given UNEXPECTEDLY from someone? There doesn't have to be a reason or a method of madness to it. Some people give gifts for their own reasons. Some of those gifts are personal and carry a special meaning to it.

A person who gets a gift from that person can usually decide what to do with that gift. Depending on how they feel about the gift, it might not mean anything to them. But the giver of the gift feels joy to give it to someone else.

But what happens when the person, who gets the gift, decides to either throw away the gift or re-gift it away? Can it mean that they don't like the gift? Or does it mean the person who gave it to them thinks that their friend means nothing to them?

How do you think the giver will feel when they find out their gift was given away or thrown away by their friend? I can tell you that it will lead to a very brief discussion and follows with an end of friendship. PERMANENT end of Friendship.

I walk down stairs to my storage room, some where among all my boxes is a box full of various objects that hold special meaning to me from many of my friends in all my life. I don't know why I "collected" all this stuff, but then I realized that I treasured friendship from many friends of mine, even the very ones who cast me aside and went on in life to other friends. But their gift remains in my hands and reminds me of how special friendship with these people meant to me. Even those that I had back in high school.
One day when I have my own place, I'll put these objects around the house to remind me that friends are always welcome in my home and that I have and had wonderful friendship with a lot of people.

But, if you decide to throw away a gift that was given to you, what happens when you later learn that your friend passes on? You don't have anything left to hold on to the memories of your friend in life. If you got pictures of your friend(s), you'd better treasure them the most. Because once they are gone, they're gone.

If your friend gives you a gift, treasure it. If you give it away or throw it away, then friendship has no meaning for you until it's too late and then it comes back to haunt you.

Many friends come and go in life. But those that remain and stay are the true, loyal, and special friends in life. Gifts from them make life easy and fun.
