SSSD files lawsuit injunction! Reminder of FCBD

G'day Everyone!

It's just after 9am this morning. Just got up and found my email box alerting me to what's going on with the SSSD (Scranton State School for the Deaf). At the moment, supporters and students for SSSD are presently at the Governor's Press Conference. It's going ok as I've heard.

However, nothing could ever complicate the timing of the press conference and the presence of the SSSD by the filing of the lawsuit injunction which prevents ANY decision being made about SSSD's future.

Presently, a decision was being considered to allow SSSD remain open as a day school under the administration of the Western PA School for the Deaf (WPSD).

Stay alert. More fall out of the SSSD could be coming down the road in the coming days.

FYI, Translating Cinco De Mayo directly from Spanish means "May 5th", therefor it takes place on the 5th every year... not the 2nd.

Thank you. That's true. But, since may the 5th falls on a tuesday and that being a business day, many places are celebrating it early this weekend before that. A rather Cinco De Mayo weekend anyhow. go figure.
