The White Sale Day after Christmas

G'day Everyone!

I hope you'll forgive me. I took time away from the blog for a time to celebrate Christmas and thinking of the coming year. However, I haven't opened ANY presents YET! That's because we're waiting for my sisters to arrive Sunday for some post Christmas fun. Ahh, advantage mine! I get to go shopping today.

It's White Sale Day after Christmas out there. Which means BARGAINS GALORE. But please be careful out there. So many misadventures abound to happen of which you do NOT want to happen. Fair to warn you.

Sadly to say, my trip to Washington, DC to visit my good friend, the laid-up RSG007. He's doing good so far. Check out his blog! He's got his adventures posted about the rehab stuff. So I'm planning to head to DC on January 4th for a bit of a time.

As Christmas fades into the history of 2008, I'm sure many of you have enjoyed the special day. For me, I took the risky time to drive over to my valley church. I went to the early Christmas mass at 7pm rather than the midnight mass of which I would tell you as I heard was packed FULL as usual.

Now we are looking at the last 5 days of this 2008. A lot of things could still happen in a very ugly ending to the year. Old Bushie boy has been spending his final holiday at Camp David and is beginning to wind down his presidency days. In 25 days, Bushie boy will be done for historical purposes and fly away into history. In 26 days the ROCK of Obama begins his work immediately as there will be no congressional honeymoon. Obama and congress have a lot of things to focus on.

I am still thinking and praying for many readers that are stuck in another major snow storm that is sweeping across the nation again. I hope and pray that each and everyone of you is doing ok.

So who's ready to welcome 2009? Not me! I do not enjoy this coming new year for some reason. Have you seen the new Jib-jab.com's NEW video 2008 year in review? I asked them to please close caption it. It was a very interesting review. But I wished that they poked one more fun at President Bush before we turn the joke puns on Obama next.

Right now, I'm out the door. Look out stores! Sherlock is coming for the bargains GALORE!

Semper FI.
