G'day Everyone.
Enjoying your FALL weekend? I think everyone is. I had a quiet weekend. Not much has gone on in terms of excitement.
But on the FOOTBALL side of things It was PSU that had the better energy of Ying and Yang as it TROUNCED Tenn Temple University by a score of 45-3. Now that was a lopsided win. But it shouldn't escape you that JoePa (Joe Paterno, head coach) had to send himself up to the press box after half-time due to leg problems. Among the fans this year, most of us are in hopes that he will retire after this season is over. For now PSU is officially 4-0. The upcoming game is against Illinois University. That's the first BIG test against a TOUGH team.
Syracuse University had REVENGE on it's mind to go 1-3 as the beat up Northeastern University.
The worst of the bad side of Yang and Ying belongs to Gallaudet University. The mighty herd were "shot to death" at Greensboro University at a score of 34-0! The loss puts Gallaudet at a 0-3 mark. As our herd has limped back to the grassy grounds of Kendall Greens (GU Campus), they are in for a bye week of a rest (about 14 days) to prepare for their next road trip to Becker College on October 4th, 2008 for a high noon (12pm) football game. Hopefully, it will be a time well spent to figure out what happened on their first road trip this season.
So, until next time, Semper FI.
