The passing of a GU Professor.

G'day Everyone.

It saddens me that the Gallaudet Business Department didn't bother to post a notice in the inside Gallaudet, nor sending out an e-mail to their graduates on the passing of a wonderful Professor, Charles J. Pearce. When I was told that this professor had passed away, I was shocked. Doc P, as we used to call him in class, was one of the most kindest and gentle souls that walked on the earth. He cared about his students. He care to make sure they understood the materials they were working on. He didn't care of what nicknames we'd give him, only as long as we respected him for what he was doing what he loved: Teaching.

Here's the link to his obituary: http://www.legacy.com/TimesLeader/Obituaries.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonId=116522704
please view it before it closes tomorrow (September 27th). It'll be the last day for anyone who wants to leave comments about him.

Thank you Brian G, for letting me know.

Dr. Pearce, May you walk the shores of heaven and gaze up at the wonder of it all. You shared many of your war stories and told me about life in the military and how you did things. I will miss your strength, wisdom, and friendship. For without you around, it will be a quiet world out there.

Semper FI to you, Sir, always! SALUTE!

RIP Charles J. Pearce. He was a very nice Chairperson during my time at Gallaudet.
