Economic Fears?

G'day Everyone (sort of, for most people).

I've been in contact with many of my deaf friends and I've been hit by full spectrum of reactions from many of them. Some feel happy that Wall Street is being punished for it's own corporate GREED and many of the bad Financial decisions.
Others feel really bad because if the financial firms take it out on investors, even on people who have a huge 401k saved up, will be creating an economic PAIN for others to feel after the market corrects itself.

What I have found that most are my christian friends believe we are heading right into the END OF DAYS to come as if this Economic disaster was foretold to come to pass. Some are repenting left and right about what they have been in the last several years. Some are giving up and becoming something that God wants them to be. For pastors, they're shouting "thank God I have my PERFECT CONGREGATION AT LAST! THANKS GOD FOR THE BAILOUT MESS!!". I say to the pastors in mock tone: "yeah, right, just wait.. you may just fall (lose your job) today. Or worse yet, if you say something about the coming political elections, expect a visit from the IRS to tell you that your "tax exemption" is gone.".

*HUGE SIGH* What a crazy roller coaster world we live in these days. As today is the End of September 2008, Tomorrow starts the month of October. What do we expect to see happen during this month of October? Plenty. With so many things going on, just take it day-by-day.
As I said before, Call your financial counselor before making any financial decisions.

Hopefully, the bailout failure will give congress time to process of what's going on and that they'll work on a better bill to protect consumers. But will this Economic situation hurt Obama and McCain? I think so.

Hey, get ready for the Vice Presidential debate on Thursday night. While Biden and Palin are being given a *CRASH COURSE* on how to handle themselves in the debate, I have no doubt that Palin is going to lose. There's been a lot of discussion that Palin might be let go and McCain would replace her with a STRONGER VP candidate. Who would McCain choose if he reacts to the VP debate loss? I don't want to know. But do make your popcorn and drinks and get ready for laughs. Anything goes in the VP debate. The only ugly question is..which one will take over "Darth Cheney's cape"? (scary music plays). Humm we have the whole month of October to figure it out.

Last but not least, if you haven't registered to VOTE, Get your fanny moving! Get REGISTERED TO VOTE TODAY! For pete's sakes, if you don't, you'll miss out on history.

Semper FI.
