It is a sad Thursday. Nobody didn't want to break the news to me. I had to find out for myself. The news came to me and now it's ripple effect through the deaf blog world.

Well, as you read the article, he pleads guilty to the state charges of 1-3 years. But the Federal charges would put him in prison for more than 10 years and he'll be required to be registered as a Sexual Offender for life.
I can believe Micah will never be around the Internet or the blog world from this time on. While he pleads Guilty, his sentence will be formal on Sept 8th, 2010 for the state court. But that may be on hold till his Federal court sentence happens.
I can only hope Micah survives his life in prison.

Well, if Micah Brown did not do what he did, he would not be in Jail. Since he is already in Jail and used to what is inside Jail, he decided to plead guilty to get
over with the Punishment in Jail.
He will have some freedom left
after he gets out of Jail before he dies. But it is going to be hard because he will register as a sex offender means he can't have a family or be around any children.
That is going to ruin part of his life. Glad he plead guilty to take
responsible for his action and
face his punishment. He knows there
is no other way around it.
Mishkazena,I know. I would have turned Micah in sooner had his friends told me that he was into child porn. I would have gotten him help sooner.
Right now, his total life is dead. I don't believe when someone said that sex offenders can use cell phones/pagers and computers, but they're suppose to be denied to him under megan's laws.
I do believe Micah's life is over. He will either kill himself in prison or someone will kill him. I think he knows this pretty much.
Only God can help him now.
What about the girl he supposedly had "relations" with? We've not heard from her.
Major question I have is, is he being set up just because he was conveniently there? Supposed a boyfriend was actually there or something like that?
Sherlock and I had a bit of a discussion awhile ago about this where I was bringing up various scenarios.
