Represenative Murtha, Caption Action 2

G'day Everyone.

The whole state of Pennsylvania is in shock this week after Democratic Rep John Murtha died from Gallbladder surgery complications. Not only it's sad, but it says a lot that doctors were not careful with Rep. John Murtha in his surgery. Had they been careful, Murtha would be with us today instead of this untimely demise. Link:

Surgery is always risky for anyone. Even if it's a simple procedure. So, it is a sad time for the Murtha family and for the State of PA. We have lost a wonderful congressional represenative. His influence will be missing for ages to come. May God be a blessing for the Murtha family.

In the next few weeks, the State of PA will host a special election to elect someone to fill out the remainder of Murtha's time in congress.

There are people hard at work to continue to spread the word of the reasons why we need caption action 2 for the digital age. As TV station begins to move from the cable age to the Internet age, so does it become much more needed for captions to be used across the Internet as well.

Speaking of captions, my favorite friend, Seek Geo, made a list about the commercials in the super bowl. Geo listed which commericals were closed captioned and which commericals were NOT closed captioned.

I say that Geo was very well detailed about the super bowl commericals. There were really no surprises in it but a lot of funny moments. So Geo, you get a major salute out of me!

Enjoy the day, even if you are snowed in, warm up well.

Semper FI!
