Praying Sunday.

G'day Everyone.

There's a day like today that I'm taking an hour or a two to sit in an empty church and pray for some ill friends of mine. In the last several weeks, I have learned that I have lost one friend to a brain stroke that has changed his personality and he's not the same as I once knew. It like finding a friend suddenly gone from my life, but his living body is here with a different person residing in it. There wasn't much point in trying to argue with him so it was better to walk away than dealing of what he's become. He could be gone later.
Another friend of mine could be gone as well in a few years. I can't disclosed how, but it's heart breaking. In the next few weeks, I will be traveling to visit him and catch up on life with him. It will most likely be an emotional moment of time for me, but I will have a good friend of mine to go with me while I visit my old friend. I'm very much looking forward to it.

There are times that I'm praying and asking God to take care many of my friends, close friends, family, and my readers of this blog. We all can't solve each other's problems in our lives often as we like.
But take a while to sit in a quiet church for some quiet prayer. It's like taking a break from the world to sit and tell God all your problems and get refreshed from His river. I do this in the winter months and bad weather when I can't go walking in the woods.
But spring is soon here as tomorrow begins the 1st of March and it's sure to come in like a Lion. Camping is on my mind this year and I'm looking forward to it.

Don't forget to pray for the people in Haiti and now most recently, Chile!
Enjoy a peaceful day.

Semper FI.
