G'day Everyone.
By now, the nation has realized that controversy has happened in Super Bowl 44. I'm sure the poor NFL commissioner will not have any choice now but to change some rules and look at how Super Bowl 44 went down.
For the moment of half of the game, it looked like the Colts were in control and destiny to win it all. Then came the two controversial moments. It was in the 3rd quarter where the Saints (aints!) did a controversial onside kick that just didn't fly past 10 mandatory yards. It should have been caught by the refs and called on the carpet. Yet, it happened illegally.
Then another situation ended up in a illegal touchdown in which the aints player obviously didn't have control of the football and juggled it.
And yes, we had a near chance of an overtime nightmare to happen. Yet, the bad saints of New Orleans came away with broken wings, trashed halos, grew horns and tails, and hold the proverbial pitchforks. They New Orleans Saints are still aints. They didn't play fair and showed poor judgements. As the celebration begins in New Orleans, they have better enjoy the party and the trophy while they can. Better yet, they better get down on their knees and pray that God doesn't strike New Orleans with Hurricane again before lent season.
Honestly, the real winners are the COLTS. They played honestly and impressively. Peyton Manning was a real machine. He knew what to do and did his best. He and his team should be given a warm welcome home and given encouragement to prepare to beat those aints when football season 2010 begins.
For the NFL commissioner, his headaches have just begun. He's going to have a few long months to consider what to do for a while.
Remember, who dat? Who dat is aints. They'll always be that.
Semper FI.
