Breaking News in the SSSD matters!

G'day Everyone!

I was shocked to hear this info from a friend of mine about the latest twist in what the PA State Officials are doing to people related to the Scranton State School for the Deaf (SSSD). This latest situation could be an indication that PA is very desperate to unload the SSSD and hand it over to the Western PA School for the Deaf (WPSD). If this is very possible, the coming court battle could get very ugly and costly.
Here's what's just happened to the superintendent of SSSD:

If this article is accurate as it is, things are just getting to be bad. Get this one as it's quoted in the Times Leader:
"Dr. Gerald L. Zahorchak, PA state secretary of education,Zahorchak revealed that SSSD will be renamed the Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children – Division of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD).

“Simply put, it is time to move forward as expeditiously as possible,” Zahorchak wrote. "

If the Harrisburg officials are moving forward fast to resolve the entire situation, then they have better be prepared for the court to rule against them. I believe this lawsuit will be a WIN for the students, staff and Parents of SSSD and the State of PA will be in trouble.

The resignation of the superintendent is indeed a blow to SSSD. But let us not forget what she has done in defending the job she loved to do. May God richly reward her to a new position.

The fight is NOT over. DEFEND SSSD!

SEMPER FI!
